Since I have spoken about the greed in politics and business it would be a failure on my part to not speak about the greed in Religion.  Todays post is about just a small sector of that greed as it pertains to the Evangelical belief but by no means is it only a part of their belief as a large part of the same belief is shared by other Religions, such as the Mormon Faith, as well, they just are not as outwardly obvious about it.

Prosperity ministers who are  outwardly preaching the value of greed in America are a new twist to the teaching of Religion.  They are a growing breed of ministers tied to the Charismatic Evangelical movement.  They run the gamut of people who show no shame in their high pitch sales job of the merits of rewards that come along with giving to those who use more subtle nuances.  People like the Joyce Meyer’s ministries from Missouri are very aggressive in claiming entitlement to a rich life style due to God’s gifts to her while others like  Joel Osteen of Texas are less verbose, but both types are prosperity ministers.

When Americans became bored with the often boring and staid teachings of or disillusioned with Traditional Religion and divorce became more prevalent or lifestyles changed, people began looking for more entertaining ways to worship, and many turned to Evangelicals to provide them with Spiritual guidance.  Although Evangelicals  originate primarily from Methodists and Presbyterian beliefs along with the 1700’s Piety and Puritan beliefs of the Bible preaching’s, to tie Evangelicals to any one belief factor would be wrong.  They’re definitely the majority who see themselves as Conservative Christians but there are also those who are liberal and even some who would be considered as really non-committed who do not believe it necessary to attend Church Services and Bible Studies every Sunday and Wednesday.

Evangelicals are popular with the African-Americans through the Baptist Church just as the faith is practiced by all members and Nationalities in America and all walks of life.  It is the largest growing Religion in America with an estimated 28.3% or 90 million Christians in America. Brazil is only larger in percentages than the United States is in growth.

To pen point any similarities beyond their belief in  “Born Again” and “Catholics as Heretics who do not teach the literal interpretation of the Bible”, would do them a disservice as even though they have a high number of Republican Conservatives, through the minority population, they have an equally large number of Liberal Democrats. Some want nothing to do with the mention of politics while others feel they should be front and center in the influence of politicians and their decisions. Many believe in Rapture and await the second coming of Christ, others believe in healing of the sick and disabled by the laying on of hands, while others speak in tongue.  Many credit their success as a direct Blessing from God and believe they are guided by the Holy Spirit in their daily lives. They accept most of Protestant beliefs but the crowds many times are more exuberant and reactive than in Traditional Religion.

Many of the ministers, due to their own lack of training in Divinity and Seminaries, often expound their own interpretations of the Bible and so the messages often vary from one Church to the next with individual understanding or interpretation of the chapters and verse of the Bible. Some are guided through life by a literal interpretation of marriage:” being of one man and one woman,” while others allow for gay rights. Many hate to be perceived as fundamentalists as they were in the 1700’s when Evangelical beliefs initially arose in Europe.

Not all Evangelicals are Charismatic nor believe in Prosperity Ministers nor are all obsessed with Heaven and Hell.  One thing that is certain is if they do preach the Word many have little to no training in Divinity, although many do have honorary Dr. degrees without formal education from Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell and  other Evangelical Universities. Some get their degree to preach from a mail order house out of California while others get theirs for a fee over the internet.

They all believe they were given a calling and were inspired to preach when God appeared to them. Some are very simple people who come from the coal mines in the Appalachians. Others have high school diplomas while some do have Associate degrees or two years and still others have Bachelor degrees of four years of college, from non-credited schools ran by the Evangelical ministries. Others have had Seminary training in other more traditional Protestant Religions and have left that faith to start their own Evangelical Church.  Universal, Grace, Life, Good Will, Glad Tidings, etc.  are usually a part of the name of these Churches over that of Jesus, the Apostles, or Saints most commonly found in other more Traditional Religions.

Prosperity ministers are those ministers who pretty much share tears in the wickedness of their ways before “they got drunk on Jesus,” and before God appeared to them and made them rich.  They are very charismatic and crack jokes and do a sales job on their parishioners, telling them if they give to their Church until it hurts they will be Blessed ten fold and maybe even 100 fold.  If their parishioners think they can give 10 dollars or even a 100 dollars and it does not mean deprivation or sacrifice on their part, for God, then they do not really believe in God.  If a thousand dollars really hurts then they should give a thousand dollars and not worry about the bills as God will provide, If they really believe. They play on the guilt of the poor by making them feel like the reason they are poor is because they do not believe hard enough.  The great majority of the money they receive comes from their radio or television ministries and is established fact that the poor give at a higher percentage rate of their income than do the wealthy.

They tell their followers how they did not have a dime, the wolves, were at their door, the bill collectors calling constantly and when they took their last few dollars to Church and gave it to God they were Blessed with manna from Heaven. Their  good fortune just fell from the skies.  They quote the passages of the Bible that says “and God Blessed and rewarded them with good fortune”, and totally over look the parts of the Bible that say, “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to gain Heaven,” and Christ’s teaching’s about  mankind’s need to give away all his riches to serve the poor, in order to gain heaven.

Prosperity ministers beliefs that they have found the Blessings of God’s favor through becoming rich is so prevalent that they take parishioners money to buy $10 million dollar corporate jets, $200,000.00 in antique furnishings, they drive Mercedes and BMW’s in the $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 dollar range and feel entitled while living in million dollar homes while giving their children all the best that their parishioner’s money can buy.  So warped are their beliefs of entitlements to wealth and so charismatic are their sales pitch that they can and do convince  their followers, they are God’s voice on earth, even without seminary training or practical applications in divinity. Some even claim they are living out their gift from God now, while others in their Congregations struggle to make ends meet.

Their followers, just as do the ministers, fail to see the hypocrisy in the message they preach when they preach the need of every one to take responsibility for their own needs; and the poor could be rich if they just believed.  Since they offer the poor hope they are often times kept poor through their weekly contributions to the Prosperity Ministers, as every dime is followed by more from the poor with the poor being the Prosperity Ministers greatest contributors.  The prosperity ministers and parishioners fail to reach the understanding of the ministers dependency on the Mercy of the people, before they gained their own riches. God does not deal in dollars but sales people certainly do, and it would do us all well to begin there with that introspective thought.

Because these ministers forgive every sin through their “Born Again Beliefs”, regardless of how grievous the sins, without individual confession and penance and they relate to their parishioners about their own sinfulness and really stress how they were sinners, People flock towards the ability to be born again and all their past sins forgiven.

In the more conservative Evangelical Churches, parishioners are often shamed into living exemplary lives just as their ministers do, even though there are some who are no different from the rest of us with the same foibles and mistakes or sins committed by all of us. In the more Conservative Churches the parishioners cling to the belief that often these uneducated clergy can speak for God and give them a greater place in Heaven and a get out of Hell free card, if they only embrace their lives in the constant presence of Christ and continue to give of their money, which they are told is in most cases intended for the poor. This is true unless they are Prosperity ministers as good deeds are encouraged in most Evangelical Churches. The  Prosperity clergy often claim to draw salaries that do not compensate for the riches they gain. Many of the more liberal parishioners belong for the fellowship more than they do for the strict observance of the teachings as is common in many Religions, who do not set strict guidelines.

As a neighbor of mind once said, “I would hate to think I was such a bad sinner that I would have to spend my life in Church.” I have always enjoyed travel because I love the diversity that is America over tying myself to one group for a life time but that is just my own personal choice and many people are comfortable and justifiably so in their own communities.

I like many believe that: Spirituality just like physical and mental needs are a necessity of mankind in the fulfillment of life and living but are dollars really a part of what makes mankind great or saves us from hell? Can we really buy ourselves into Heaven or are we better judged for the value of our compassion for, the time we place on, and we give of ourselves to humanity? We do need to sometimes question the motives behind what appears to be an exorbitant lifestyle of riches regardless of the person or people who are promoting the same, at the expense of the people.  We cannot wear blinders just because those vulgar displays of wealth are arising from our ministries any more than we can when they come from our politicians.  Both depend on the generosity of the people and should be suspect and held responsible for such displays.

The great majority of us want to see people who have made wealth through hard work and sweat equity enjoy the fruits of their labor as it offers hope to those of us who dream. Certainly ministers and some politicians put in long hours and hard work as well, but when their income is earned on the charity of the poor, the vulnerable, or the greed of lobbyists, the majority of us see these excessive lifestyles of displayed wealth as being vulgar.  It is not what we want of either our clergy or our politicians whose main concerns should be dedicated to the needs of the people. When a family of 4 or more make $50,000.00 a year and they are pressured or cajoled into writing $10,000.00 checks so they can prove the power of their faith in God or a politician can get elected, and the clergy and politicians cannot understand the immorality of their exorbitant lifestyle, then who can we turn to when we ask for legitimacy in our Churches or our government ?

Does the riches gained by our politicians who are threatening to deny payment of Social Security to the elderly, wages to the Military and middle class, and GI benefits, by shutting down government over Obama care, mean they are deserving to be great and Blessed? Wouldn’t we all do better with their compassion shown and their time given to our needs without strings attached?  Something else to ponder that’s for sure. Doesn’t take much common sense to figure out, does it?;)

It has been obvious to me and the majority of us for years that Tru T.V. owned by CNN has been placing together re-enactments by pathetically bad actors and actresses and calling it reality t.v.

I don’t doubt that these people do exist and are real under the titles they use but come on, If a pawn shop in Detroit, a City that is bankrupt, was throwing out as many angry customers per day as they do on Hard Core Pawn the customers along with the employees would be disappearing in droves.

This Pawn Shop could not exist in business with so many upset and angry customers in any size of a City, where the body guards were consistently throwing out the customers while a family who was constantly yelling at both the customer and amongst themselves would not also drive away business and leave behind a business that left a sour taste in the stomachs of all of it’s employees.

The re-po shows on TruT.V. and the logging shows on the History network speak for their own pathetic staging.  A 5 year old child can spot them.  The fights that just so happen to break-out on their Storage War auctions on TruT.V. seemingly do not exist on other networks and even if they did the acting is so poor as to feel as though we are being set-up or staged ourselves, if we fall for this crap.

Could the main reason we know these shows are fake, beyond the obvious, possibly be because the majority of people in America regardless of poverty, back ground, or race are civil in the face of adversity, as the majority of us who  use our brains for something other than trash television, already understand?

Sure repossessing anything can be a dangerous occupation but the hot heads are not as prevalent as shown on TruTV.  The great majority of people who cannot pay are begging for another chance or asking the re-po people to wait if the repo people are even spotted, or stay hidden out of shame or embarrassment.  People who repossess vehicles learn when we are working, at the mall, or sleeping and are good at getting in and out without being caught.  It is their job to use their heads and to alert as few people as possible to what they are doing. A very few times in the career of a re-po person will the owners catch them and then a very few  may get angry and raise their voices but If fist fights add to the appeal of these shows for our enjoyment then what must it say about the intelligence of the American people who watch them?

If any of us believe this is True television then is it any wonder people fall for the rhetoric of the Tea Party or believe they actually care about paying off the deficit?  I say Hooray Chris Christy for exposing the dangerous rhetoric that is spealed by the Tea Party leaders and especially,  Rand Paul and the likes of Paul Ryan or Ted Cruz.

But I digress so getting back to the exploitation of ignorance on cable television, we cannot leave out the worse offender of all.  Hands down the award of stupid goes to TLC’s Honey Boo Boo.  I smiled when it beat out the Republican Convention in the ratings but come on people, I have been in the South many times and to use a show like Honey Boo Boo to depict people of the South just as using Hard Core Pawn to depict people in Detroit is an injustice to both. Do any of us really believe that a family of 19 and Counting can afford to travel, when there is no visible means of income in a family who works separate from the show, beyond that paid for by the sponsors of the show? Don’t we understand away from the show this family would in reality be living in poverty?

The television crews and networks went looking for people who would agree to act or play stupid or actually found a few and put them on the television to be exploited by the people who do the programing for cable networks.

It is the only explanation for the junk that is available for the viewing by those of us who are as equally stupid to believe this is reality t.v. or whose lives are so boring as to believe these shows are not a waste of our own intelligence and in that regard, in my opinion, anyone who watches these shows are also being exploited.

I agree there are  some shows as equally staged and called reality t.v. that are enjoyable; Such as the Iowa pickers on American Pickers, on the History network,
whose Nashville store I have been in and is constantly mentioned by them. It is smaller than mind or your living rooms and was empty other than for a few over-priced items and what I would call junk or perhaps better yet, trash, since I have been collecting antiques for 40 years I do understand the difference, in my opinion. As all of us do know, however, people who want something bad enough will pay almost anything, myself included, but in my opinion the old buggy seat and the sofa losing it’s stuffing were nothing a self-respecting mouse or flea would sit up a home in much less be appealing to people who thought they might like to buy antiques; After all that is what it has been billed as being on the show.

Both the ratty buggy seat and the primitive sofa took up a great deal of the floor space leaving little room for anything else other than a man’s leather jacket that was ‘crispy’ and children’s worn out boots that were overpriced and would sell for 50 cents at Goodwill. A couple other items picked from the show were on display as well; A machine that was over-priced and the red outdoor arrow along with a few other items, but certainly nothing that I may have been interested in buying.

I certainly wasn’t going to buy something simply because it was picked by them while on television. Sadly, though I do think there probably are people who would. Another large Michelin man was not for sale. Otherwise they sold caps and t-shirts of their television show, when I stopped by to check it out in February. The majority of that large warehouse they bought is taken up with a candy store and a workout gym in business and takes up more than half of the warehouse. Perhaps a whole sum of 4 people could stand in what the Pickers refer to as their music jamming section, which is nothing more than a small corner of the room. I was not impressed and my husband could not even get the car parked fast enough for me to view the merchandise and be out the door.

The Vegas Pawn Stars also brings in a lot of humor usually at the expense of and as a result of Chumlee, even though sometimes I think Chumlee is more intelligent and ambitious than the rest of the crew, and most of it is just put on and done for the audience on the History Network. I do enjoy these shows along with a few others, myself. I’m grateful the people in charge of programing decided to have customers bring in items and get estimates instead of the original idea that program gurus initially had and that was to have hold-ups at the night window of the pawn shop. Had they done this instead, it would have been just another fake and stupid reality show.

My complaint is with the so-called reality shows which start exploiting the apparent ignorance found in the American population under the guidance of pure stupidity or violence. In my estimation, something is seriously wrong with the viewing public who watches these shows. Can’t most of us agree there just has to be something innately immoral about paying people who obviously lack any kind of self-respect or dignity in abundance to pretend it is normal behavior and call it reality? What about us, the people who watch these shows, so that their ratings increase? When television shows try to depict reality as not pretend on the part of the people whose behavior is poor to pathetic, then aren’t the networks really setting these people up to look stupid through exploitation? Aren’t we being duped by the Networks who pass it off as being true t.v. or reality and don’t we give them permission to think the American public is stupid every time we watch this trash and it goes up in the ratings?

I am not denying the right of all people to, “different strokes for different folks” and there are a few of the cable shows that are legit, informative, and in some cases even humorous and educational, but come-on people aren’t some of these shows an insult to our own intelligence after a hard or monotous day of work? To count on the accuracy of any cable network shows after the mermaid hoax and shark week on the Discovery station and 5 years of aliens being
reported as real and living amongst us on the History network as educational fact, when it is anything but, is to leave those who count on television to educate themselves brain dead and uninformed of both truth and facts.

Is it any wonder that many of us feel cable networks are taking advantage of all of us with assumptions we are all ignorant? Maybe it is time that we all stop at the library on our way home and pick up a book so that cable television drops these trash shows that only exploits all of us. If we never develop our own intelligence beyond the level of cable t.v. can any of us imagine just what we are turning loose with our children on both the work and school environment in America? Think about it. Have a good day all!

When I heard Mitt Romney speak this morning at the Clinton Global Initiative, I could not believe what I heard.  He talked in glowing details about free enterprise being responsible for the wealth established out West in the 1800’s and how we needed to quit giving aid without work.  He said and I quote, “Before then there was terrible poverty in the West in the 1800’s and because of free enterprise we were able to bring wealth to that part of the Country.

When we realize there were few settlers in the region yet in the 1800s and Sioux Indian Wars were still raging in the plains that led to General Custer’s death in 1875, my eyebrows arched when I heard Mitt Romney say something so ridiculous. Even though treaties had been signed by the Indian Nations there were still renegade Indian Wars as well as wars between the Indian Nations and the United States Calvary still being fought out West in the 1800s.

The gold rushes that took place out West and in South Dakota did make instant millionaires out of a very few but it was the Railroads that were built by the Army and United States Government that opened up the West for trade that was responsible for the wealth that would follow.

Without either it is highly doubtful that Free Enterprise would have established the railroads that connected the West Coast with the East Coast. As a matter of fact because of claim jumpers and large landowners burning out smaller settlers, highway men or robbers, houses of ill repute and gamblers who often won the deed to other’s land in the 1800’s it has been said that anyone who got wealthy West of the Mississippi in the 1800’s did it dishonestly. The only law available in most of the West in the 1800’s was the colt 45,a rope, and the perceptions of the vigilante that was usually controlled by the large land owners. If a person so much as looked at a member of the vigilante wrong they could find the colt pulled and a bullet in their head.  So much for free enterprise’s role in the wealth of the West that Mitt was glorifying.

The construction and operations of the intercontinental railroad was authorized by the Pacific Railroad Acts of 1862 and 1864 while the Civil War was still being fought.  Congress supported it with 30 year U.S. government bonds and extensive land grants of government-owned land.  It was the culminating success story of the 1800’s as it made possible the transportation of goods and produce from the West into the Cities of the East.  There were smaller railroad lines built by wealthy men prior to this but it was the Army that designed the first Continental railroad with government subsidies that brought both people and trade from the East Coast to the West Coast.

It is true that this was a time of great wealth for large land owners along with  oil magnates in Texas, and coal and gold mine owners in Wyoming and the Dakotas but their families, for the most part, all lived in previously established land owned by Mexico or on the East Coast during this time. Mansions of the gold miners early success did interspersed the landscape of the wealthy who struck it rich in mining but they were few and far between.  They did not share their wealth with the workers but instead paid them drastically poor wages. The railroads shipped in Chinese laborers to do what were very high risk jobs working with explosives both in transport and carving the railroad through mountain rock due to the shortage of people in the West.

American ingenuity was second to none when it came to the inventions of Edison and electricity,Bell and the telephone, and Ben Franklin’s advancement of civilization through the printing press.  The quality of work of Tiffany and Sons and various Silversmiths along with the invention of Eli Whitney’s cotton gen were all factors of American ingenuity. No one could hold a candle to entrepreneurship of the Americans. Cabinet makers who had arrived to the East Coast and potterers and glass makers from Ohio to Indiana made such quality work that it is still highly collectible today.

With the later invention of the automobile and assembly lines by Henry Ford making the automobile affordable to the masses and followed by the Industrial revolution,  interState systems paid for by government and invention of the technology era, we as Americans led the field, but these inventions and advancement of free enterprise were still a long way from reaching the West in the 1800’s as the majority of Americans out West were still living in squalor conditions and the American Natives were starving due to the depletion of their hunting grounds.  American ingenuity and inventions will always bring wealth through free enterprise but this was still a long way off in the West during the 1800’s.

The workers were given deplorable living conditions when they could find work and only those who worked with explosives since their lives were short-lived were given a little extra in pay.  The same was true about those hired to work the oil rigs and to work in the mines.  The only wealth that was brought to the West at the time was no different from what too many Conservative and Tea Party Republican members of the Congress and Senate are trying to accomplish today.

The owners got richer on this so-called free enterprise and the poor were replaced by other poor immigrants as they died off from deplorable working conditions, and they got even poorer. Later they would be paid in tokens that could only be used in the Company stores and by the time they paid the Company housing rents and bought food for their families they usually ended up owing the Company Store far more than they earned.

There was wealth only if you were someone who belonged to the American aristocracy such as Cornelius Vanderbilt, the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, the Astor’s, Hunts, or a member of the Standard oil family such as Rockefeller and Flagler etc., who were worth a Billion in the 1890’s and the first monopoly or Corporation in America.  They however all lived on the East Coast and not out West. They may have been given credit for being the builders of America or the founders of American Industry, but they did not provide for the sacrifices born out of the American laborers, make up the Calvary or Military, nor provide for the hardships that went into the making of the transcontinental railroads.

That was done out of the blood, sweat, starvation, death and tears of the poor. There were only two kinds of people in the 1800’s when it came to wealth or the lack of the same.  They were either the very wealthy engineers of American progress or the very poor laborers in the 1800’s.  Too many times the artists as well as the cabinet makers along with the inventors would find their own efforts stolen from them by the wealthy because of their families own desperate situations or circumstances. There were no laws to protect the poor and even if there was they could not afford to pay a lawyer. If the 1800’s is something that Romney wants to glorify then we can understand why he does not relate to us.

When produce could be brought from the West by refrigerated cars, later,  the large land owners employed immigrant and migrant workers paying them next to nothing to do slave labor.  The housing conditions for the workers again were deplorable and in many cases not much more than a horse stable or hog shed.

The railroads helped increase the wealth of landowners because they could transport perishable items and profit from it. The smaller producers grouped together to protect their profits from the large producers by forming the Grange or Co-ops. I assure everyone who reads this, free enterprise did not bring wealth to the general masses in the West in the 1800’s. I could not believe that Mitt spoke about this as being a time in History that we must all aspire to because it was a time of great turmoil and unrest in the West.

Beginning in the later part of the 1800’s Germans,Czechoslovakians,Persians, Irish,Asians,Scottish,Swedish, Israelis,Syrians,Russians, along with many other over seas Nationalities, began to arrive through the Great Lakes or our shores to escape persecution, wars, or starvation and mostly settled in the Cities. Some came for the hope of jobs or heard stories of wealth being told about a New Country called America. Those who could farm were offered free land in return for clearing away the trees where forests existed and to make improvements on the Land in States along the Mississippi and Ohio  Rivers.

Some who were paid to fight in the Civil War to replace the sons of the American Aristocracy, arrived during the mid 1800’s and if they survived the war they bought land from the government with the $250.00 they were paid by the wealthy, once the war ended. There was a whole regiment of German-speaking men and other Nationalities who fought in the Civil War, in place of the sons of the wealthy. The African-American slaves who fought in the Civil War was amongst the lowest provided for but the bravest of the regiments. They were sent in front of the troops and suffered the worse casualties due to their bravery.

Fur traders, missionaries, and store owners who traded with the American Natives, arrived earlier and there were scattered settlements out West in the later part of the 1800’s. The French and Spanish had arrived much earlier and had owned a great part of America from Louisiana and all the way into Utah. It all belonged to the American Natives prior to our signing the Indian treaties with them that moved them to the Reservations. It would lead President Abraham Lincoln to ask in the 1800’s prior to the freeing of the African-American slaves, “Did we believe the slaves or the Indians had it worse?”  When the slaves were freed they were never given a mule nor their 40 acres that was promised them by the Republicans.Only California which was established much earlier by the Spanish, before the American and Spanish war, was a center of wealth and growth.

A large part of  the West was still anywhere but close to being established late into the 1800’s when towns or villages were just beginning to pop up few and far between alongside of the railroads. Instead workers were primarily kept in outdoor conditions or in what were called camps. California had their own established wealth from trade, gold mines and an agreeable growing season. Much of the Western Plains were deserts where only scrub brush, tumble weeds, sage brush and cactus would grow in the 1800’s.  Land that produced would turn into farmland much later with the building of dams and irrigation funded by the government.  Next to the Native Americans both the French Canadians and the Spanish were here before the majority of our ancestors arrived in the West.

Farms and towns or what we would call villages started springing up more following the early 1900’s,as government gave incentives to Americans and foreigners from other Countries to move West. They brought with them their ability to survive hardships and to do without while improving the fruit trees and farming.  It is true that many families other than the store owners or those who established banks, were poor in the West.  When the railroads arrived and they could start sending their beef and grain to the East or West Coasts, they realized better living conditions, but it was agriculture and the railroads that made it possible and certainly not free enterprise that helped them improve their living condition.

In 1904 the Kincaid Act was signed and this is what brought the majority of people West as posters were placed overseas offering free land to settlers as well as East of the Missouri.  This brought the majority of white foreigners and previous settlers to America and the West as more towns were established along the railroads, and helped establish the West further.  Anyone who would clear a section of land and build improvements on it would be given the land clear and  free.  These relatively New States of the West,  needed to establish a government and have people to pay taxes in order to do so. They did that by giving people the land in exchange for the taxes they paid into their State Governments.

To suggest that the Father’s of Industry were somehow responsible for bringing free enterprise to the West and therefore increased the wealth of the West is simply fallacy as it was the increase in population and supply and demand that brought the much-needed food supply as well as the coal for heating and the lumber for buildings to the populated areas through use of the railroads.

The Aristocracy simply owned everything in the West that added to their own personal wealth.  Without the railroads financed by government and the laborers who risked renegade and outlaw attacks, snake bites, infections, broken limbs, horse falls, starvation, yellow fever, black lung, tuberculosis, blizzards, drownings, raid attacks by the Mexican out laws, prairie fires, dust storms, heat, cold, floods, plague, diphtheria, to name a few, that took  their lives along with low pay and long hours, and gave of their own ingenuity of blacksmithing, leather making, boot repair along with their understanding of mines to solve problems, none of the progress credited to the Fathers’ of Industry, would have been feasible in the 1900’s, much less the 1800’s.  It did take all of us working together then just as it does today to solve the problems of the future.

It was not until after World War 11 that there was even a middle class in America of any substantial size.  It was the GI Bill with affordable education and housing that was provided by the government and better working and living conditions with better pay that  was  responsible for the middle class and it is what made all dreams possible for all Americans. Companies paid for workers training on the job instead of asking them to get outside training, before they hired them.  For the first time in America the poor could gain wealth through affordable education and fair pay. Our economy boomed as a result of the middle class having discretionary spending and both the Company and the workers profited.

Government initiatives combined with the formation of workers Unions brought wealth to the poor and the workers.  Education guaranteed by government and supported through fair pay laws protected through Union negotiations for the American workers played a much larger role in making wealth possible for All Americans. When free enterprise is left on its own without government controls and Union support for the workers, our pay decreases while their profits increases and our economy falters.

American workers will and are returning to  poverty because of the greed of our free enterprise system and the  lifting of regulations that became worse during the Bush Administration.  When Corporations realizes the quality of the American worker over a sub standard product, and again understand that minimum wages will not spark the economy but only fair wages will, we will again return to a strong middle class.

Companies working together in partnership with Unions, educators, government and on the road that President Obama has established, will again bring  back good paying jobs that we are trained for at our Community colleges, but it will take time to return the middle class to its rightful place. It has taken decades for the greedy to put us in this hole and it will take at least a decade to get us back out of the same hole they dug for us.  When we all have the dignity to be able to provide again, America will return to the fiscal strength my generation became accustomed to. We need to give President Obama four more years before we can see the fruition of it.

Mitt Romney is only right in that Free enterprise does play a role in giving the workers a job but to credit it with bringing wealth to the West or to the workers, when the truth is it was made possible by Government working for us, is a large factor missing in the equation. Government giving immigrants land in exchange for taxes,  government bonds that went into the railroads and the building of our infrastructure, free education provided through government and the Army who mapped out the Railroads, and the military that protected and continues to protect our Freedom,  is the main reason people could ship their product and migrate West.  Government adding armed guards to the trains and sheriffs and policemen  on our Streets so we could move West without fear of death or robbery, seems to be left out by Mitt Romney in the retelling of History.

It was not Free Enterprise that made American Dreams come true but Government being there in partnership with the poor every step of the way to work with us and help us out of poverty, that we of the middle class and many who gained their own wealth have had help from, and we need to support government through a fair and just tax system in return. Our United States Treasury is in desperate need of being replenished by all of us from Wall Street to main Street.

To rob our own government treasury, as Mitt Romney and the Republicans suggest, by adding another 5 trillion dollars to the deficit with a further drop in taxes to the wealthy only continues digging the hole deeper.  To suggest,as Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have, that some how we are dependent on the government instead of the workers having worked in partnership with government to provide for the growing needs and freedom of the American people and free enterprise, is not just an insult to us but an insult to the struggles of our and their own ancestors, as well.

When it has been both the poor and middle class who have made the wealth of free enterprise possible, when we are of all nationalities and have shed our blood and lives for the furthering of the wealth of free enterprise and helped advance our civilization, when we have paid in to our retirements both out-of-pocket and through sacrifice, when we have sacrificed blood, life and limb for a Democracy born out of our Constitution; then the insults of Mitt Romney, who was lying on the beach of France spelling out a love letter to Ann, during his deferment as a Mormon from the draft that he protested in favor of during the Viet Nam War, becomes just that more grievous to us.

The very idea of the Republican complaints against the use of food stamps now that some of us are in a temporary need, that were initiated by their own Bob Dole for a time of need, that they themselves helped create out of greed, by the lifting of regulations over free enterprise is reminiscent of another time in history.  It is attributed to Marie Antoinette that when she was told “the peasants are out of bread” she told them”let them eat cake.” The present group of Republicans led by their hopeful Mitt Romney appear to most of us to have lost sight of the reality and the truth that they themselves have created this deficit of government funds and instead have lifted the regulations that keep the greedy amongst us in check.

It has always been ALL Americans working together, with government and our elected officials working for us, that has made us the greatest and strongest Nation in the World. Jobs provided through free enterprise that only furnished slave labor, deplorable living conditions, and caused the workers to “Owe their soul to the Company Store”, is nothing that we should ever strive to return to, while the rich get richer. Stop their drive to defeat us by voting Democrat in November.

I’ve said it before and I will repeat it again today: something is terribly wrong with the polls that are being reported.  I am not a math genius but I do know enough to know that all polls can only score 100% of their polling area and it is rare when they do get a 100% response.

I am watching CNN and the question is:”Who would do better for our economy,” and the score results are:

Barack Obama–46%

Mitt Romney– 55%

Perhaps CNN did not catch it but it is impossible to do a poll that will end up with 101% which is, of course, what we get when we add 46 to 55.  What makes it even more ridiculous is that we know in every poll that there are always the “undecideds” and those numbers simply are not being shown on any polls on any networks or cable networks, that I have watched, and I do try to watch them all on the days the polls come out.  The same poll results I see on CNN are the same I see elsewhere.  I know we have many  Private colleges doing the polling and that we are really behind other civilized Nations when it comes to math but the polls this year, in my estimation are ridiculous.

At no time in history will more money be spent for the vote in the 7 to 10% undecided range and they are not even being factored into the poll results until we do get to” who do you favor,”  poll and then they do allow for that percentage on those polls.  I don’t know why the others are flawed other than I know college students do like to sleep in so maybe the poll taking is not always being done accurately. We also know that people are less likely to answer their phones when they are unable to make a payment or during an election year so is a little fudging of the results happening?  Another possibility is that many of the college students favor tea party favorite Ron Paul, so does  that  make a difference do we think?  I make no accusations other than the fact that I have followed politics for many years and never have I seen what appears to be such flawed polling. In days past that would have caught the eye of an investigative reporter and we would have all known why these polls are appearing so flawed this election year.

Now on the subject of pessimism, why do the polls show people are pessimistic about the future of our economy is my next question: Let’s see could it possibly be because we have these paid people all over social networking  and the media telling people Barack Obama is a Muslim and has never been vetted and should be tried for treason; Maybe instead it is the lie that The Obama Administration is too incompetent to recover a strong and lasting recovery, despite the facts that dispute that; Maybe it is because our common sense kicks in and makes us realize that Barack Obama is trying to recover a decline in education while Mitt Romney blames him for the fact that 1/2 of the Seniors in highschool  will not graduate in the cities and we say,” hmm hasn’t Obama only been in office for 3 years, so how can he be blamed for the lack of seniors graduating? (we might hold him responsible for 3 year olds but seniors were on Bush’s watch)

Don’t we have our intelligence insulted when we are told an Equity Capitalist knows anything about what job lost feels like for the middle class or that they create jobs over profits to their investors? Maybe it is because we take one look at Mitt Romney  when he says,”We envy him for his wealth,” and we get nauseated to think that anyone would think we have fallen that badly? Could anyone be envious of  Mitt Romney? I hardly doubt anyone who is not family could think Mitt Romney, “Is all that!”

How about the good old standby that circulates every decade and that is that we have 173 days now before the world comes to an end;  If we do not vote for the Ryan Plan there will not be any money to pay social security for future generations, perhaps (America is still one of the richest Countries in the World even with our deficit, and the people will never let them not care for our elderly.  They may try it but the people have to vote on it first so do not fall for these lies) Are we sick of hearing things from the lunatic fringe that President Obama is a Socialist or communist; Well you get the idea,at a time when the truth is totally missing and these same people who spread these lies are the same trying to deny women birth control or rights to their own bodies and health or gays and minorities the civil rights they still have yet to receive, we have a bunch of loud mouth Republicans running around yelling “Stand your Ground” and it’s enough to depress even the most patient people.

We know the Tea Party and Patriot groups are hitting especially hard with the lies against President Obama when it comes to his treatment of the military veterans.  No Presidents have done more for the Vets since Roosevelt, but this is a sector of voters that the Republican Party has been able to win since the start of the cold war.  Since the majority of Iraq veterans support President Obama as does the American people in the way that President Obama is dealing with both wars, the Republicans will really have egg on their face if they lose this group of voters in their own Red States, not to mention they need their vote. So many lies and so little truth coming out of the mouths of those who won the election in 2010 on these same lies.  Is it any wonder we are pessimistic about the future?

What we are not hearing is that people are turning 66 and 65 respectively and because of this they are now drawing Social Security instead of unemployment (we can draw at 65 and wait until we are 66 if we are lucky enough to still have a job.  The Soldiers came home from war in 1946 so the major baby booms are really hitting this year) but the same people are claiming people just got tired of looking.  Have we heard that we have reached the bottom on the housing market and prices are  climbing again in the most depressed markets?  Some of us have not heard that we have had 26 steady months of growth.  Others have not heard the economists say that there is not that much wrong with the Obama Administration  recovery program if we could just get the Republicans out of their way.

We haven’t heard the economists who say that we could turn it around and put people back to work again in 18 months if we could just remove the Republicans. Some of us haven’t heard that companies are coming back because of the high cost of the import market.  Others haven’t heard that manufacturing jobs have increased 38% in just the last two months alone.  We did not hear because of Barack Obama’s Administration he was able to prevent us from falling into a Depression greater than the Great Depression.

Does it surprise you that in spite of the spending sign ticking away behind him that Mitt Romney, as all of the Republicans in Congress knows, President Obama’s spending has flat lined and he has spent less than any President since Dwight D Eisenhower following the Korean War?  Would you be surprised to hear that statistically Republican Presidents  spend far more in Corporate welfare and tax incentives throughout history than what Democrat presidents spend? Despite all the pork the Republican Congress has loaded on, they along with Mitt Romney are deliberately lying to us, the American public, when they speak about President Obama’s out of control spending and the media does not call them on these lies.Do you know that for the first time since 2008 people are able to quit their job and find another one to replace it? There  are even signs that the European Market looks more hopeful.

When Mitt Romney and his fellow Republicans tell us that this is the slowest recovery from any recession since the Great Depression they fail to tell us it is also the worse recession that any President has inherited and would have been worse than the Great Depression if President Obama had not been sworn in when he was.  In January of 2009 when President Obama was sworn in unemployment had reached 9.9%. It was under 4% when George W. Bush took office. It was the only time in history that unemployment fell to 4% as  statistically it runs around 5.5% even during a robust economy, yet Mitt Romney has suggested that if President Obama does not get it down to 4% then he is a failure, even though Mitt himself is only holding himself to 6% unemployment.

If Europe and Greece doesn’t fall apart as it has plagued our recovery along with the tsunami in Japan, President Obama will have dropped it by 2% by Jan. of 2013, or in three years, despite these difficulties, and a Congress who has refused to pass his job’s bills.  This is the same percentage point drop that Mitt Romney is promising he will drop it in 4 years, while he is claiming  the slow recovery under Barack Obama  is too slow and again claiming President Obama does not understand how an economy works but he does. President Obama has had to deal with nothing else since taking office and has gained back 4.2 million jobs lost. The Bush budget followed through until Jan. of 2010 and the Democrats by law were unable to change it; that is why the stimulus bill was a Godsend to the economy and acknowledged as the same by economists.

What Romney is not telling us when he says he will cut unemployment to 6% in four years is:That is the number unemployment is projected to be in another four years by  the Congressional  Office of Economic Affairs, whose business it is to project those figures, even under the Obama Administration. Mitt’s claim to reduce unemployment to 6%  while campaigning, is the same figure projected to happen  if Mitt Romney does not win and President Obama remains in office.  It is just another attempt to lay claim to the accomplishment done under a Democratic President.  If you have been following my posts then you know the Republicans are famous for taking credit even when they haven’t been in office, throughout history. It totally defeats Mitt’s claims that he can do better than what President Obama has done.

There are much more positive results because of the Obama Administration but the Democratic Party are not as vocal nor do they have the media support that the Republicans have, despite the Conservative’s complaint of the liberal media.  Republicans also have a history of being more  natural at lying even before the Tea Party adds to their lies, especially when it is a Mitt Romney campaign ran by Carl Rove. Wouldn’t we all rather see a fairly mild contest as we experienced between Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama again over the nasty display shown during the Republican primaries?

Mitt cannot talk about being Governor of Massachusetts because he ran as a liberal with all kinds of promises and then went after jobs the same way he did at Bain Capital, to the point only 3 States did worse than he did and these were the States that did not have nearly the job opportunity as Massachusetts had, such as Mississippi and New Mexico.  His healthcare was the brainchild of a man by the name of Gruber and identical to what they call Obama care. The fact that the Romney campaign has  a mail box number in Park City, Utah, where  millions of dollars are being sent to his campaign and no names are attached to the donations that pays for these lies, only helps add to our over-all pessimism.

My guess is the Democrats will catch up to the head start that Mitt has had since last Fall and show him for the person that he is, since as of today none of us really know who Mitt Romney is. The only thing we know for certain is this man is proving to be the person who  Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum called him and that is a liar every time he opens his mouth and a Etch-a-Sketch man who changes views depending which group he is talking to at the moment.  I am sure that once he debates President Obama in regards to all the lies he has told we will all realize this is not a man we would want in our homes much less in the White House.

If that sounds a little harsh on my part it is because I can accept almost anything about a person unless they mistreat people or pets, lie to win,or are a bully.  When one person has proven to others they have a history of all three character flaws, then it would be less than honest of me to say anything differently. When we elect people of such character,  we get back the same kind of performance. The more willing we are to over-look such a lack of character in the person who would lead the free world the more our needs get over-looked as well. When Mitt has to prove his own mettle and confront the lies he is telling on stage at a debate, then we will all take comfort in knowing that the most honest as well as likeable man for the office of President and the only one willing to stand up for us is also the most competent and that is of course, Barack Obama.

It should give us all hope to know that it is an election year and we do have a choice and can do something about what is happening to the middle class as well as to the Republican Party. We can replace all of those who would lie to us and  feed us a pessimistic future if we are smart enough to not vote Republican.  When they hide from us what their real plans are then “We the People need to stop them at the polls, before they can follow through with their plans of taking workers back to the 1920’s before there were Unions; before they take civil rights back to the 1950’s when minorities and women could not decide for themselves; and before they take our economy back to the failures of 2008 respectively.

Doesn’t that make you think more positively already? I just want to turn up the music and dance knowing over the next couple of elections we can eliminate these self-ordained judges who think they have a right to rule over the rest of us, so the Republican Party can rid itself of the  do-nothings who feed on what was once “The Proud Old Party”. The Democrats and Unions had to go through a similar cleansing in the 70’s and if the Democrats who are running for re-election do not start speaking up on equality for those of us who elect them, since a few of them seem to be a little too chummy with Wall Street as well, a few of those may find their gig is up as well.

It won’t stop the lies on the social networks or the Conservative media as they will just rev up with a whole new set of lies for the 2014 campaigns but we can delete those anytime we want to. Barack Obama will get us out of this if we just keep the Faith and replace the Republicans in November, both in our States and Congress. “We the People” still have that power. If we don’t take that choice then we can’t really complain can we?

Smile and let the good mood and nice weather take over today.Don’t let the lies get you down as it is way too soon to not to think the worse in the lies, is yet to come. It can always be worse, we could live in a swing State. Those of you who do, have my sympathy.  If it gets too bad we have extra rooms:)Enjoy your day and unplug the answer machine.

After listening all these years to the Reverend Wright stories, how Barack OBama is not a citizen or a Christian and knowing those stories are so brainwashed into the Conservative groups that God Himself could not convince them that it is all lies, we are now comparing Reverend Wright to Bain Capital?  Do  these  people think we have totally lost our sanity altogether or do they think we are just stupid?

Democrat mayor Corey Booker of Newark New Jersey only added to the controversy that both should be off-limits and dug himself an even bigger hole with a half-hearted response.  I don’t doubt he is angry that he is being lied about and used by the Republican campaign but his need to support his wealthy constituents showed in his apology and explanation.  The Republicans are claiming that he has been silenced by the Democratic Party and have formed what they call a  “We Stand With Cory” group and are asking people for signatures.  It is a regret that he will not soon lose and obviously didn’t think it through before he spoke as the comparison of the two is insane.  It will tarnish his own halo for a while. He denies it all and says he has not been silenced.

First of all if they were arguing that Reverend Wright and all those other lies they are telling against President OBama along with Mitt Romney’s Mormonism were off grounds and not fair game, I think we could all welcome that.  The Republicans will not let go of the lies they still spread against President Obama , of course, as they are even trying to keep his name off of the ballots in places in Georgia and the same is being threatened in Arizona, if he doesn’t once more show his birth certificate as he has already done, because they are so convinced that he is not a citizen and was never vetted. They are especially ignorant and lying in their attacks Of President OBama, but the Democrats are not supposed to be able to present the truth on Mitt Romney when they have proof of the same. Even their own Donald Trump has recently repeated these lies. Lets not forget either that the very man who Tea Party Darlings, Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman, are promoting to run for Vice President is calling the Democrats who are working out a budget to help decrease the deficit of being communists;  all 81 of them.  Now Democrats can’t say in Mitt’s Religion he believes he can become one of their many gods in Heaven and earn his godhood on earth when it is the true doctrine in his Faith, and it is wrong to say so?

Taking Bain Capital off the table when it  is totally different from those lies told by the Tea Party and Conservatives on President Obama, as Mitt Romney IS Bain Capital, is just another one of the attempts by the media and the Republican Party to try to blind side the American voters.  Mitt Romney likes to brag about the jobs he created  instead of  acknowledging the heartache and destruction he created in the American people’s lives.  For those who just want to say that Vulture Capitalism is the way that business works, that’s fine, but it does take someone who is fairly heartless to do that kind of work, in most of our minds. It  is also what makes Capitalism cheap and destructive.

Yes part of business is that the best workers in America get fired but we do not have to pretend this is justice.  Its one thing for a company to not be able to pay its people anymore and to  tell us ,we will have to be laid off.  We all understand that not all business makes it and that our jobs are not always going to be permanent.  We can handle the reality that no one’s job is guaranteed nor are any of us replaceable but when they come in and lie to us by telling us that we will be kept on and then turn around and fire us while taking our pension funds when they are done with us,they step all over our dignity to boot.

How many of us have been told that our company is going to be sold but everyone will be kept on until the last of the inventory is out the door and their people are in place and then we receive our pink slips, after they have assured us our jobs are safe?  It is the way they operate that is immoral to the majority of us because they have no respect at all for the truth or the fact that we feel like fools because we believed their lies and the lost of dignity that goes along with it.

It is altogether different when it comes to a simple failure of business not making it than it is when we have vulture capitalist deliberately studying any recent downturn in business, that might be recoverable if given time, deliberately pouncing on that weakness and bankrupting the Company we work for, on purpose, so they can take out the remaining profits and Equity in a company for their own investors. When they take  our pensions funds as well, and do not have the decency to offer any compensation in the process, it takes  people of a heartless nature to function in these jobs. When this goes ignored as being fact as to what was part of Mitt Romney’s  career in a campaign then it is ridiculous for the media or the Republicans to say that Rev. Wright and Bain Capital is off grounds.  One has nothing to do with the other.

It’s like comparing apples to oranges; one is about Religion and the Republican lies that accompanies it and the other is about what Mitt Romney did the majority of his working life.  The American people have a right to know if the person running as President will stand up for us because they can relate to us. Mitt as owner got to choose when he would retire and send his accounts over Seas to avoid paying taxes and is now bragging about how he created jobs when he ended far more than he created.  If they do not want to talk about Bain Capital while  lying about what Barack Obama is not guilty of doing as President, then what will Mitt himself talk about since Mitt is Bain Capital.

It works like this Americans, no conversation of Reverend Wright  then no conversation on Mormonism.  No conversation on the truth of Mitt Romney at Bain capital being Mitt’s History then No conversation on the lies of Barack Obama being President.  First we let the religions go but do they think we are insane enough  that we can’t talk about the jobs the candidates for President have had?  Get real Bain Capital is what it is, like all Equity Companies first and foremost it leverages and bankrupts Companies to grow the wealth for its investors and it is not in the market to create jobs.

When exactly did Wall Street and people who snuff out the jobs of others, and take our pension funds in the process, become the Holy Grail?  The middle class has been denied by the need for business to gain profits for so long that we are becoming the working poor. Don’t we have to ask if this is the white male Republican’s approach to “family values,” that they like to use to deny us our own equality? Have the Tea Party and Conservative Republicans replaced common decency in our own lives so that we share their worship of Wall Street and the profits that puts us out of a job? Are we now suppose to acknowledge their lies as the truth and applaud them when our children go hungry because profits are our new God? doesn’t the Ryan Plan backed by Mitt Romney and the Republican Party complement this same kind of mentality?

Do the Republicans really think that the need for these greedy bastards to make a profit is more important than the survival of the middle class to the point that they can waste us in favor of investments and we have no right to speak out about it?

We know the Wall Street lobbyists own the Congress but have they made us their slaves as well? If profits are more important than people then we  need to change their priority by stopping the right to work laws that make it possible for them to  get rid of the Unions who use to protect us against their  greed. When we are afraid to take our vacations for fear we will lose our jobs, we can no longer afford to elect the Republicans who eliminate our rights. We need to  let the Unions back in to protect those rights. The only way we can do that is by getting rid of a Republican majority in our States since they are the ones passing the right to work laws right under our noses.  Mitt Romney has been busy campaigning and telling the workers he can bring back more jobs since he supports the right to work  law. Haven’t we already found out that these kind of jobs will not educate our kids or give us dicretionary spending so that the Middle class can once more re-build our economy on discretionary spending that is being robbed from us by these laws?

The Tea Party drive to eliminate the Unions through the Republican Party is leaving us defenseless to the point our wages are becoming less and our hours longer. Where are the Democrats who use to fight for our cause?  It would appear to me that they are leaving President Obama and Joe Biden to fight this battle for us, alone. Do we only have two good men left in politics? The Democrats need to be speaking loud enough so that they convince us that they are still the Party of equality for everyone.

We can no longer pretend that the Republican Party wants us to kiss the holy feet of the people who want to become the ruling class in a free Democracy by bending down to the great almighty wealth in America?  We may agree that campaigns are not about comparing Religions but when they start it and will not drop it on Barack Obama’s Faith then they cannot move on to comparing the religion aspects that were lies in the first place in Barack Obama’s life to the job of Mitt Romney, and then say now four years later both are off the table, and think the middle class is too stupid to see through what they are doing.  DUH! Do we think just maybe they only want to berate Barack Obama while bragging about Mitt Romney and they think we are too stupid to recognize that, do we think?

If they are going to lie about President Obama’s job performance then we are as entitled to talk about the facts in Mitt Romneys career.  Just because Mitt wants to talk about the companies like Staples and Burger King that they either took over or started as being Mitt’s background doesn’t mean he can deny that he also swept through companies and destroyed the future of employees while taking their pension funds as well. If we as citizens just dismiss this and instead say that is just how business works then we give up our own moral objectivity to the vulture Capitalist of America that stagnates business  because of the fear they create in business.

We the People cannot be told that we must bend down and kiss the feet of Wall Street and deny that the banks are gambling if the Equity Companies pay off their loans or not and then be told this is not fair game to speak about when Mitt Romney ‘s very job was a part of this scene. To deny that this helped lead to the catastrophe that led to the lay off of 780,00 people per month in 2008 and it is what Mitt wants to return to is to lie to the middle class and working poor one more time.  Just because they want us to see the pretty side of Equity firms while denying the ugly under-belly does not mean the middle class workers and the working poor are buying into their lies any longer.

We have taken responsibility for those who would roll the dice at our expense long enough and we will no longer deny that Mitt is one of them instead of one of us, simply because the Republicans and media are telling us that Mitt’s job performance is off grounds while he brags about having more experience than Barack Obama and denies the recovery taking place under the Obama Administration. Vote for reality in November.

If we listen to Mitt Romney speak we become acutely aware of the fact that he is promoting the same  lie that has been promoted since the 70’s and that is that “trickle down economics” works.  To quote him exactly,”When Companies do well we all do well.”  The truth is when we have jobs the companies do well and we all do well.

It is a fact and has been since the beginning of an economy that wasnt totally dependent on agriculture in America, that consumers with discretionary spending is what makes economies better.  When that income is robbed from the middle class, with” the right to work laws,” then the very people who have been the biggest consumers since World War II, are also unable to buy the products produced by American companies.  When we don’t spend then companies fail.  Business without consumer’s  money do not ever create jobs.

Economist know as all of us should know that during times of a bad or slow economy that it is made worse when the spending stops.  When we increase spending on intra-structures and highway building, with construction of new homes, or even with government helping out with foreclosures on our homes and with food stamps we give people the ability to eat or to spend again. Obama has tried to consistently pass the bills that would give jobs to the middle class while the Republican have refused to vote on them by filibustering.

Economies recover and grow if Congress pays on the deficit during a good economy and spends during a poor economy.  It has worked to keep the deficits down since Democrats Roosevelt and Truman did so following the Great Depression and Democrat Clinton did in the 1990’s. The Congress have simply  refused to pay on the deficit since George W. Bush took over the White House or to pay for two wars, when the economy was doing well, even when Bill Clinton handed the Republican majority a balanced budget and a surplus.

The Republicans make a lot of noise over balanced budgets when there is a Democrat President in office but have a history of doing nothing and not even so much as a whisper about it, when there is a Republican President in office and they are the majority. Even the media is silent on the lack of one in most cases. The last time that the Republicans balanced a budget under their own leadership was in the 1950’s under Dwight D. Eisenhower although they like to credit themselves with the Democrat President’s success to do so.  A great deal of the hate against Bill Clinton and the Conservative’s attempt to dig up dirt on him was due to the fact that he balanced the budgets during both of his terms in the White House and was only the second President in history to do so.

Before any of us believe what Mitt Romney says and that is he and Bill Clinton think alike, make sure you hear what Bill Clinton says about that, before you believe a thing that Mitt Romney says.  The Republicans tried to impeach Bill Clinton for heaven’s sake!  Bill Clinton is not campaigning for Barack Obama because he thinks that Mitt Romney can make a better recovery of the economy than what President Obama’s administration is doing and that we  can all be certain of.

Bill Clinton is also a big supporter of Obama’s healthcare program so is Romney lying on that as well when he says they think alike? Why is Romney telling the Billionaires that he will cut their taxes by 4.6 trillion and add it to the deficit if he plans on taking their taxes from 0 to 12% to 39% like Bill Clinton did, if the two of them think alike? They have absolutely no kind of history in common in their records of running government as history will tell us in the way that Mitt Romney ran the jobs creation into the hole in Massachusetts.

The need of the consumers being met with good wages, affordable housing, and discretionary spending is what builds economies. We can all be assured that Mitt Romney has no history at all in either government or his career experience of doing any of this. When the Tea Party governors are trying to run the Unions out of the States that guarantee the workers the fair wages by voting on the “right to work laws,” and Mitt Romney has promised his supporters, “I will eliminate the housing and development Dept.(HUD)when I am elected.”  Then we should all understand the working poor and the middle class having fair wages backed by the Unions, controlled rents in reasonable markets, extra income over expenses, because we are the main consumers in America, will not happen under a Mitt Romney Presidency and businesses  will and do cease to exist when we the consumers are denied a fair days pay for a days work.  If you read my post “Mitt Romney and Bain Capital”, then we all understand why business begins hoarding money, as well.

“Trickle down economics has been a lie told to the American workers for so long that it has become the biggest lie told in America today.  When Mitt says,” when companies do well we all do well,” he is totally wrong, as it is when we have jobs and discretionary spending then we all do well.  When we have Corporations refusing to hire and instead hoarding their money to protect themselves against the Vulture Capitalist like Bain Capital then the economy fails.

The wealthy should invest in the middle class but instead they have been robbing from the middle class by not paying their fair share in taxes.  Corporations are getting tax breaks from the Republican majority to invest over-seas, over investing to create more jobs for the working poor or middle class here. These same Corporations are being paid our income taxes to keep us employed, instead of it going to our individual States, and that is leading to our States going broke, so we are being hit twice by the Capitalism that is protected by Congress. In allowing Wall Street’s  greed to grow, we the middle class get absolutely nothing out of “trickle down economics.”

Mitt and all the other Republicans have  promoted the idea of “When Companies do well we all do well” since the beginning of Reaganomics.  While their income has grown by 150% ours has fallen by 30% in the same time period.

It should have become very clear to all of us that we have been lied to for way too long by those who stand to profit the most. I assure you that it isn’t the working poor or the middle class who are the ones profiting when Corporations do well. Even with President Obama placing regulations back in place, Wall Street is doing as well now as they did during the Clinton years.

Regulations are not making companies unable to hire, as Mitt Romney claims, and that has been well proven by the Obama Administration.  Regulations simply slows down the greed and makes it more difficult for Companies to default on their promises or loans. In short it makes the boards more responsible to the shareholders and makes it more difficult for them to “throw the dice”, so to speak.

It is the tax incentives offered through the Obama Administration that is helping the Private sector, who are the ones hiring. They always have been the main job creators in America. Without us buying the products, making their products, and selling their products Corporations are left to invest in an effort to fend off the Vulture capitalists, and that is what is happening today.

The less income consumers have to spend  the less Corporations need to create jobs. When the consumers  over-seas and here at home are buying those products, and when we have discretionary cash to buy those products, because we have jobs that pay a fair days wage, then we will all do well again. Don’t let the Mitt Romneys, Republicans and Tea Party members of this world keep lying to us for another 40 years or America will truly be back to where it was at the turn of the twentieth century and that is with the middle class having been replaced, by the working poor and the rich getting even richer. Vote in November.

I begin this post with my apologies for saying that Mitt Romney was nothing more than a hatchet man as he also spent his time establishing businesses that would make a profit of gross proportions for himself and his friends, as well.Speaking for most of the people I  speak for, I don’t think anyone begrudge Mitt’s success as an investment  success but to use it as a background that makes him more experienced at creating jobs than President OBama, when it simply rings hollow with most of us who are in or have been in business, is more than most of us can stomach.

The  OBama Administration has worked hard to gain 4.2 million jobs for the middle class and working poor while Mitt’s experience has been to take away jobs from the working class, in an effort to profit the already wealthy.  To run an equity company and all that it entails takes a personality type different from what most of us possess.  When Mitt accuses us of envy, I can assure him that we have many emotions on the subject but envy in how he accomplished his own financial gain does not even register with us.  Disdain maybe more like it.

Not all capitalism meets with the moral register of most of us.  Just because there may be huge gains in it or just as many losses does not always make it right in the minds of those of us who would object to the way Mitt has made his money. The Mafia made a lot of money in business that was legal as well, but just because it may be legal ,many times capitalism can also be morally objectable to the senses of those of us who have tried to add to the lives of others, in business. There are many legal ways to make money that enhances the life of everyone involved and we need to keep checks and balances on  capitalism as a reminder of that.

Mitt Romney along with Partners, T Coleman Andrews III and Eric Kris started   Bain Capital in 1984,and it’s reported wealth  has been established to be worth $66 Billion dollars today with a work force of 400 plus.  They began the private equity company on borrowed money of 37 million dollars.  Most equity companies do borrow their money from banks rather than use their own personal money as capital.

If we type in jobs created into any equity company, we will get 0 results since equity companies are not in the business of creating jobs but instead to make profits for their investors. They are often known as venture capitalist or by the slang word of “Vulture Capitalists”. They are the predators of the business world who take advantage of a weakness in a Company to prey upon.  The great proportion of investors in Bain Capital is and have always been the owners and professional personnel that works in the company where as many others are financed through mutual funds funded by, cities, States, and outside investors traded over Wall Street.  Bain Capital remains private.

Bain capital has been both an investment company as well as a buyout company that moves in and bankrupts Companies and takes out the profit for its shareholders.  It is the manner of the way an equity company runs that makes its real goal that of gaining profits for the owners of the company and sometimes efforts to streamline companies by laying off a great many of the people in an effort to make a company more profitable.

Bain Capital takes  its profit of 20% with terribly high fees off the top and at times  their profits grow 16 fold while the Companies  they take over go bankrupt and employees lose both their jobs and pensions.  When the companies do not go bankrupt after a take over then only approximately a third of the people are hired back if that and they often find their wages half of what it was before these equity companies take over the companies they work for.

Bain Capital is currently in the process of working American Airlines through bankruptcy so one would have to question if there is a conflict  of interest with Mitt Romney even running for President since airlines are heavily government subsidized.  It  is believed that he still has ownership in Bain Capital and it is in a blind trust.

Because of the way these equity companies are structured there is not a single Corporation or Company that finds itself losing profits because of the uncertainty of the economy that does feel comfortable in not stock piling money over creating jobs.  Everyone of them are susceptible to take over by an equity  company who has more wealth than they have, and they know that. Equity companies do not only swallow up the assets of other companies but also the jobs of the working class.  Instead of promoting job growth they prevent it.  Equity companies bully their way in with the first sign of financial weakness in a Corporation or company.  They are not invited in unless a company sometimes feels that restructuring may help save the company by the board of directors.

Mitt took two  leave of absences as CEO from Bain Capital to run as Senator of Massachusetts where he lost against Ted Kennedy and again for Governor when he won a one term election as Governor of Massachusetts. He had planned to return but never did.  Mitt worked with both Goldman Sachs and the Frist family of Indiana in partnership of take overs and with other investors.  No doubt it is his connections with Wall Street that helps explain the great amount of wealth that is pouring into his campaign.

Mitt Romney, if truth be told and we find it very lacking in his campaigns, is not a job creator but instead a wealth creator for his buddies on Wall Street.  Although he has not worked for Bain Capital for years many believe that part of his retirement package  included retaining partial ownership of Bain Capital and it is impossible to learn more since Mitt has always in all of his campaigns ,which is his right to do, refused to give full disclosure of his assets as well as his earnings over any length of time.

When asked if Bain Capital has created more jobs than jobs they lost, both Bain Capital and Mitt Romney refuse to answer the question.  It would be foolish of all of us to not to understand if Mitt created more jobs than he caused people to lose, he would be exaggerating those figures as much as he has his jump of creating 10,000 jobs while running against Ted Kennedy in 1994 to claiming to have created 100,000 today without having worked a day at Bain capital since.

As owner of Bain Capital,if Mitt wants to take credit for jobs created a decade after leaving as CEO then he needs to also take blame  for initiating the process that caused lay-offs at both Armco Steel in Kansas City as well as the steel Company in South Carolina that he merged together and both would end up failing and causing massive layoffs with employees being screwed out of their benefits and pensions.I personally had a friend who worked at Armco from the 1960’s and had over 20 years put in when  they were all escorted out. Just as he lost everything so did the majority of the others see their dreams of retirement go down the drain.

After Mitt ran a dirty campaign taking advantage of his fellow Republicans, with more money to spend, he is now finding that we are all tired of the same old lies that have been around since 2008 on President OBama, so he now claims  to be seeking the higher ground. Since Mitt Romney’s past history disputes his lies, yesterday is a hard argument for Mitt to defend or win on against President OBama.

He can not attack the Religious issue again as too many conservatives are suspect about his own Mormonism. What worked with,” the also rans,” in the Republican primary will backfire on him if team Romney repeats it against President OBama.  His campaign is struggling on the best way to re-initiate the hate campaign that worked so successfully for the Republicans and  the Tea Party in 2010.  The fact that President OBama is likeable while we do not have a clue who Mitt Romney is, makes the hate campaign against President OBama susceptible to blow up in their own faces both with women and Independent voters.

So once more Mitt Romney is using the Carl Rove approach and that is to attack the opposition of what we ourselves are guilty of doing.  Since Mitt used the character assassination attack to win the primary he is now using the reverse by accusing Barack OBama of character assassination against him, while he claims he plans on running a clean campaign.  In Republican language that means if the opposition has a truckload of facts that disputes the lies that Mitt is telling then the opposition are guilty of character assassination.  Lets face it, Mitt cannot produce the facts against Barack OBama that the OBama campaign can on him  from all of their film footage of what Mitt said in order to win before, so he is pretending to take the high road with more lies on his own accomplishments.

Mary Matalin, who ran the George W. Bush campaign openly announced on CNN that Mitt Romney wants to return to the Bush policies.  Although I do not agree with her politics, I have always found her dedication and honesty in a Party that lacks both when speaking to the American people, refreshing. When the Republicans attack President OBama for not keeping his promises, they have to be very careful as we know that President OBama kept the promise made by George W. Bush, when he stood at the sight of the attacks of 9/11 and promised we Americans that getting Osama Bin Laden was his first mission.  The last thing Mitt Romney wants to do is to be honest enough to admit that if elected he will set his sail with the Bush Administration;or in other word, tell the truth.  When a campaign  runs on lies, then they all know as we do, that their house of cards can all come tumbling down.  With all their bravo they are still trying to find the right mix  of lies that will work for them while denying they want to finish what the Bush Administration started.

Mitts true job experience during a job recovery that can be undone by greed just as the economy failed by that same greed  under the Bush Administration needs to be avoided at all cost since,it is the common practice and legal for equity companies or what most understand better as “take over companies,” to drain the pension funds of workers in companies in order to have their fees paid.  Bain Capital takes 20% of company assets off the top before they even begin to restructure or to bankrupt a company, as is common practice with Equity Companies. These are the loans that the large Banks gamble on as to if they will be paid, since equity companies borrow money as I said previously.  We have just seen a prime example of what happens in J.P. Morgan Chase when they place a wrong bet.  Mitt Romney says the Banks do not need tighter restrictions placed on them while they run their banks as a casino.

After Mitt resigned as CEO of  Bain Capital, as I said previously, he kept partial ownership of Bain Capital.  When we have the media asking how did Mitt Romney make his millions don’t we have to all scratch our heads and wonder how come they don’t know or if they are deliberately misleading us?  Of course a partial ownership of a $66 billion dollar Company paying profits and dividends into a well-managed  fund with profits being sent over-seas to avoid paying taxes would create millions if not billions of dollars over time.  One might even have reason to believe that Mitt Romney’s wealth is grossly under reported.

Bain Capital also own interests in Hong Kong, London and many other  countries, and those who have checked out the facts as far as it takes them which is often limited due to the secrecy of Equity companies, believe that Bain Capital also holds  interests in Iran. They continue to own companies whose worth are into the Billions.

If any of us think that Mitt Romney could ever feel what the lost of dignity feels like when we are fired from a job after we have poured our loyalty in,and dreamt of our investments and pensions when we retire only to have them taken from us; then perhaps this information will at last make it quite clear to all of us why Mitt Romney cannot relate to the suffering of the working poor and middle class. It must be humanly impossible, not that I ever tried it, to continue bringing in money made on the backs of the people he was responsible for firing, while promising jobs.

How can he have compassion for the working poor and middle class and still retain his own self-respect unless he has the ability to lie to himself along with all of us?  If he could he would not have begun a company on borrowed cash, whose main objective was to make himself and a few of his buddies wealthy, while doing it through firing people and taking their hard-earned savings.I quote Mitt Romney himself, “Don’t you just love to fire people?  I just love to fire people….”

When the work experience Mitt  has, is to grow wealth for himself and a hand full of others while firing the working poor and middle class, and as losing jobs as governor of a State that fell to 47 out of 50 in jobs creation, then we should have a better understanding as to why Mitt Romney does not have a conscious of empathy left for us. Any one who thinks he will be a representative of us instead of the 1% just isn’t believing what they are hearing when the truth is told to them, in my opinion.

For Mitt to develop a sudden conscious for the working class people, would cause Mitt to have emotions that he was not capable of expressing.  I suggest that is exactly why the majority of us do not feel as there is any sincerity in Mitt Romney when he is out campaigning.  He is not one of us and no matter how much he promises us jobs he will never sound sincere in those promises, simply because that is not the direction Mitt Romney will take and he knows that.

On the other hand if the rumors of him being a bully in highschool while remaining in command of a total lack of  feelings, when it came to the feelings of others is true, then we could all believe  and accept the fact that Mitt  found his calling while still in highschool couldn’t we? Have a good day everybody and don’t let the idiots get you down:)

I am going to venture off of politics today and make myself very unpopular with some of all of the generations, as I am going to tell you exactly what your returning home to your parents home as adults, is doing to both you and your parents self esteem. This is something that neither your parents or your friends who also live at home, will be honest enough to tell you but what both your friends who are independent enough to move out talk about as well as your parents discuss with their confidants usually over that mixed drink or glass of wine.

Time magazine published an article entitled , “Living At Home Is Not Lame But Awesome”. Clearly this was written to bolster the ego of the millions of 25 to 30 year old adults who are living at home with their parents. No parent on earth, if they want to inspire and reassure their children will be honest enough to tell you that in your own selfishness and due to your own lack of independence and ambition you are draining them of their own self esteem as well as the money they would otherwise be able to save towards their own retirement.

In cases where parents doubt their own parenting skills and if they did enough to teach you to be independent to want to stand on your own two feet, they will welcome you back home. In cases where the parents refuse to let go of control and make your life their focal point over getting a life of their own, they will welcome you back home. In cases where parents admit to themselves, if no one else, “You couldn’t “wipe your butt” without them, they will welcome you home. In cases where your parents are lonely because they do not want to spread their own wings far enough to enjoy their own independence or freedom, they will welcome you home.

In cases where they refuse to acknowledge that all adult children need to learn the lesson of what going hungry will teach them towards developing independence and ingenuity, they will welcome you home. In cases where you are draining them dry financially because of your refusal to take responsibility for your own finances and they can see where it will save them money if you move home, they will welcome you home.

In cases where you have a drug habit and lack total drive to get a job and they are afraid that you will be on the street, they will welcome you home. The list goes on in how you are relieving your stress towards passing your responsibility onto the shoulders of your parents and at the sake of adding to your parents stress because you moved back home. Most parents will not acknowledge this fact to themselves, much less to you, as to do so will brand them a failure as a parent. If you are feeling like less of a failure because you are living at home as a adult, then ask yourself,”Who is it that absorbs my feeling like a failure for me?”

The statistics now show that adult children who earn a bachelor degree are getting employment. As a matter of fact unemployment for those who have a bachelor degree now stands at a low of 4.2% with an over all 5.5% being the National average of unemployment during a booming economy.

It may not be that job that will pay off the massive debt you occurred because you refused to hold down a job while attending college. You may have to work another job as well, in order to now pay back the piper. You may have to have more roomates because the rents have increased, sometimes unfairly. The truth is that those who are independent and able to find employment and do understand that their lifestyle will not be the same as they got accustomed to while living with Mom and Dad, are getting jobs either in the Continental United States or across the Ocean.

If you are not doing so well it is because it is clear, if not to you and your parents but to future employers, you lack the skill and ability to take on the necessary hours and ambition that the job that you really think you are qualified for will entail, in many cases.

How you paid your bills, what kind of ambition did you show while a student, what was your social life like, did you make a general nuisance of yourself or did you show a strike of independence and inventiveness, were you willing to explore possibilities that showed real ingenuity, what kind of credit rating did you maintain, did you take responsibility for your own mistakes, rents, appearance, punch the time card on time, or did you just borrow more in student loans over working part time, etc? These are all questions that will find answers by future employers before you are hired by them. College
is not simply a training ground for grades but also the type of person that you are capable of showing everyone, you are.

The high rate of unemployment as well as the economy is having a much harsher effect on the the highschool graduates who did not get the opportunity to go on to earn their bachelor degree. It also includes the massive lay offs done by Corporations to the 50 plus age of workers, who will not be hired back, and have to re-invent themselves and thier futures. Too many young adults who really do want to have their parents home from 9 to 5 to entertan their friends, while their parents work away from home and stress out over their adult childrens’ responsibilities are taking advantage of the situation and instead begrudging those who are on their own, the idea that those who do work a job they would not ever take, as being losers.

Its time to get real.Corporations are not going to hire every College graduate who does not show a willingness to stand on their own two feet without having to have their hands held. The reality that it is tough to have to stand on our own and eat Ramen Noodles after getting out of college and while earning a job, has not changed that much for a college graduate. That has always been pretty much the norm, but that degree will open the door so that a young person with drive and ambition who is sometimes willing to travel, can begin a sucessful future has not changed.

Attitudes, lack of responsibility and a dwiddling salary while rents continue to go up is a difficulty of todays graduates that do require inspiration and sometimes groups of friends or aquaintances who will sometimes need to combine incomes in order for you to
accomplish and to defeat your excuses as to why you can not move out of your parents homes; it is your reality to be dealt with. Rarely do any of us or have any of us gotten to choose the reality of the circumstances facing us when we did get the degree and graduated from College. Our generations and generations before faced the draft and going to war. Other generations faced great depression and the “dirty thirties.” Every generation has unique problems that we must all deal with as the adults that we are through establishing our own answers through becoming the adult that adds to and contributes to the economy we form for ourselves and future generations without making it the problem of Mom and Dad.

The answer to simply avoid it so that you can return to being the child of Mr. and Mrs. again may feel temporilly satisfying, but in the long run it will always defeat your own goals the longer you stay, as well as the goals that your parents had for you. As I have written before, “Excuses Are For 6 Year Olds.” Maturity that goes along with adulthood, means standing on our own and providing for our own needs, and that never changes. Sometimes we do have to “bust our chops” and go without to make it happen but I assure both you and your parents that the rewards of doing so are all worth it.

Sometimes we have to be humbled before we do earn our own success. We can’t count on Corporations and Companies to come to us with the offers when too many see the the bottom line as a profit margin to increase the wealth of the Board of Directors and no longer offer support or give loyalty to the worker. Too many aged 50 plus workers have had to learn that the hard way over the last 25 years. Many of us have been there and done that, and that is why I write this for you. Your success begins today with you.

Good Luck and when you arrive, never forget those who helped you become the success you knew you could be. The person you were when you moved home and thought it was awesome and those who hindered you with excuses as well as yourself, won’t be there when success does happen and that is a guarantee that most of us who did realize the American dream will give you. It may be the only guarantee that any of us ever have or do get. We make our own success or failure beginning with our own attitudes and dedication to the reality of the situation we are in and the character of the people we work for, because they are willing to pay us for an honest days work. They still exist but many times we need to earn our own way before we find them.

One of the greatest tragedys being done in America by the Conservatives and Tea Party candidates today, in my estimation, is the duping they are doing to the blue collar workers in America; Because this sector of workers have been the hardest hit of the American middle class workers.

The National statistics show that it is the highscool graduate who is the hardest hit by unemployment today and yet the Conservative right continues to discourage both the study of Science and education as a whole. Rick Santorum even called President OBama a snob for the efforts he has tried to make towards making education more affordable for all. What the Republican Party with the actions of the Tea Party sponsored candidates have done with the “Right to Work Laws”is nothing short of immoral, to add insult to injury.

While the Republican candidates talk about adding jobs that are being outsourced over seas the current statistics show that unemployment for the highschool graduate stands at 8.3, while those with a trade certificate or an Associate degree is 7.3 and those with a Bachelor’s degree is at 4.2, which is below the National average of 5.5, during a robust economy. It is Corporations in America who are adding to the unemployment rate, while the Conservatives and Tea Party protests the injustices towards Corporate America and point a finger instead to the unfriendliness of the OBama Administration towards Big Business.

While the Conservatives and Tea Party talk about morality and family values in America, they have convinced the blue collar workers of the injustice of Unions instead and their right to hold jobs that have been Union backed in the past.In doing this they are only continuing what the Republicans started twenty plus years ago while doing nothing more than lowering the pay of the middle class workers all over America.

Since the Unions, who the Republican Party have fought since the advent of their introduction into American life, established working conditions and wages for everyone, both blue and white collar workers alike, the Republican argument for free enterprise or Capitalism has tried to poison the water of the Unions. Only by removing the worker’s Unions, from the life of all American workers, could Capitalism cheat the American worker out of an honest day’s pay.The pay rate has continued to drop as a result of the Republicans and their introduction of “the right to work laws.”  They are not honest enough to explain this to the 99% of workers but the real point of all their greed has been to eliminate minimum wage while lowering expectations of the middle class.

Too many people in an effort to feed their families and to keep their pride alive are following along with this demeaning charade that has been enacted upon them by the Tea Party and Conservative politicians, in hopes that their original pay will return when in truth it will never come back.  The workers are being told that the company will go bankrupt if they are not willing to make the sacrifices today and this has worked for too many years while the Company projects unheard of profits. While the 99% are willing to sacrifice out of Company loyalty the 1% refuse to understand or accept the concept of shared sacrifice.

People who are looking to Mitt Romney to lead them out of poverty are simply being led to believe that Mitt is a person of great business ability.  Mitt, instead, is a person who is a promoter of the right to work laws and has never worked as anything in the private sector other than a hatchet man.  People who put their hopes in the basket of Mitt Romney, foolishly thinking he will turn around the economy to the point that it will grow in leaps and bounds for the middle class, are only duping themselves into a false reality or hope.  They will be sadly disappointed if they pin their hopes on him.

Mitt’s job was to eliminate the $40 an hour jobs for the minimum wage jobs in Staples that he likes to brag about.  Mitt has made the Mormon owned Corporations and Companies millions while laying off hundreds of thousands in the private sector.  As Governor of Massachusetts he took the State to one of the highest job lost of any State in the entire United States. He wisely chose to not seek a second term when his own advanced studies showed that 57% plus of the population of voters did not want him back.

Everytime Mitt opens his mouth against President OBama and his own accomplishments he either exaggerates the truth or outwardly lies about the facts. Others kindly call it flip flopping while others less kindly refer to it as Mr.Etch-A-Sketch. We expect that all of the Republican politicians will make a few exagerations and tell lies but never has a candidate for President told so many as Mitt.

The duping that is being done to the middle class American workers by the Republicans is only second to the bigotry when it comes to the greatest shame taking place in our Nation by the Party who claims family values, today.

Until we all educate ourselves on the lies being told, we are only aiding them in their greed. The Corporations in America who are willing to employ the “Blue Collar” worker must have better trained as well as educated workers, as the job market changes. We must promote education instead of discouraging it as the current Consevatives continue to do.

It is through making education affordable to all Americans the middleclass will move itself out of the poverty it progressively fell into. Todays mechanics, brick layers, factory workers, etc. need to be better trained in the technology and equipment that runs the jobs today. It is our responsibility in the final analysis to know the difference between the lies being told us and the sucessful needs of our own future. Re-elect Barack OBama, who is the only man in the office of President and those who would try to claim it, who is fighting hard for you.

All the other candidates are only trying to replace your jobs with minimum wage or lay offs or your social security checks with private enterprise greed. They simply want to take over Medicare, the government owned insurance agency, to make greater profits for their cronies private owned insurance companies under the name of the Ryan Bill,(See Social Security For Future Generations written by me previously) while demanding entitlements and welfare from government subsidies in the process. It’s a fact that we can all bank on.

It neither matters if Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum wins in the primaries, as if either wins in November, we all stand to lose at a much greater rate than any of us have since they waged this same war in the 1950’s and 60’s. Vote the bums out in November.

By now, I am guessing anyone who will vote in America is tired of the news coverage on politics and eager instead to hear what the Republican Party really is willing to offer what use to be the middle class.

When the Republicans aren’t attacking each other they seem to scream interference with free enterprise and taking regulations off of corporations and drilling for oil and natural gas.

They like to pretend that fiscal capitalism is the same as straight capitalism where people are actually given jobs, that will last longer than a couple of years. Instead they operate from corporate welfare, where they move in and get all the government subsidies along with free land and warehouses they can to set up jobs and the minute they get all the public funding they can, they are gone. This is what contributed to Mitt Romneys 190 million dollars and gave him a 9.3 million dollar beach house, while the middle class paid for it and got laid off in the process.

Do not blame Mitt Romney alone folks, as this practice has gone on for years. Paper capitalism does not offer jobs and the Republicans along with Wall Street and the banks have become experts at it. Donald Trump and his bankers could put most to shame with paper capitalism. It is not something that Newt Gingrich is a stranger to either. Nor were the Democrats, Barnie Frank or Chris Dodd, in their dealings with Freddie Mack and Annie Mae.

Other than Barack OBama and the Democrats, who it is our business to know who they are in our own State Senate race by checking their voting records, who are fighting for the middle class, we the voters need to ask ourselves if there are any Republicans even aware that the middle class is impoverished? If we are going to allow hate, ignorance,or lies to influence our vote, then we are no different from what they are, if we wake up and find that nothing has changed. I repeat:”If we are not a part of the solution, then we are a part of the problem.”

Do the Republicans know and understand that it is the middle class who are living on food stamps? Will they ever address the reasons why they continue to fight against extending the middle class tax cuts for a year while they the tea party sponsored members fight on farm dust? Will they explain that they will fight until”hell freezes over” to not remove the Bush tax cuts on the 1% or the 40% of the population, who are not paying their fair share in order to balance the budget, but at the same time demand that tax cuts for the middle class has to be paid for?

Will they explain why they can not raise the tax cuts on those paying nothing in taxes, like Mitt Romney, so they can pay for Obama’s jobs bill for the middle class, instead of dismissing it and agreeing instead their only goal, as spoken by Mitch McConnell (minority house leader) is to defeat Obama, by just saying”NO”? Thats right, folks, even though Mitt Romney has blamed the OBama Administration and his Department, and gets a good laugh about there being dust in the Desert, it was the Tea Party freshmen in Dec. who were elected in 2010, in their own party, who held up extending the tax cuts to the middle class in Dec over farm dust. I wrote a post on it when it was happening in December.

OBama or the Democrats had nothing to do with it, but instead it was just another of Mitt’s lies. Every time he opens his own mouth, he gives Democrats more to use against him so don’t be too hard on Newt for pointing out his lies, as there are vaults full to use without Newt’s help.

I don’t disagree with the fact that Newt is angry and getting back at Mitt, even though Newt’s lies are just as large as Mitt’s, but so much of what is being written for Mitt is nothing but lies. He attacks the idea that people are fighting against free enterprise but apparently he is so isolated or his writers are, that he has no idea of what is even happening in America.

It is not that anyone is against free enterprise that hires workers at fair wages, but instead that Capitalism has either laid off the workers or is not hiring them. All of us who are not involved in our own self-righteous endeavors, need to tell all of the say “NO” Republicans and those running that,”It is about the middle class in poverty, Stupid!”

The candidates all running are no different from those in Congress. They are all exposing the truth about each other, and their nastiness is no different from what the current Republicans in the Congress are doing. None of them can get along with each other there either, or anyone for that matter, but that doesn’t stop them from blaming OBama for being a poor leader that cannot lead the bunch. Hell they can’t even lead their own Party. What more is it going to take before the middle class votes them out?

It appears that the entire Republican Party and those who support them have missed out on the facts of what is important to all other voters and that is, it is not the African-Americans in the inter-cities who are increasing food stamps, it is the previous owners of the Moms and Pops, the families who owned construction companies, previous owners of trucking companies, family owned stores and shops, middle class workers, who are on food stamps, and what the Republicans plan on doing about it, that we care about.

None of them are addressing the fact that the middle class Americans are on food stamps and in poverty, or that they have lost their homes, and in some cases their cars, and if they still have their cars they are not able to afford the gas to drive them. When they do address it they blame OBama for the fact that he won’t allow drilling or raise restrictions on corporations.

Give us a break! The gas prices are up because of what happened in the gulf and the costs that BP had to pay for their failure to better supervise their wells. While they give the appearance of paying millions for the accident, we,the American people are paying for it in our gas tanks. Also what is going on in Iran is raising it. None of us are so stupid that we do not know that when vacation time comes around every year even during Republican administrations, gas prices always go up and it is not OBama’s fault as much as the protection they get from the Republican Party that allows it to happen. We all know how the Republicans fight anyone who would change it. That does not stop Mitt Romney in his arrogance, from blaming OBama.

Instead of dealing with the middle class impoverishment, the Republicans are talking about the Democrats and OBama restricting drilling, forcing regulations on corporations and interfering with free enterprise. We all get it. Republicans represent Capitalism. No one is interfering with it but we all understand that when the banks were allowed to get too big and they failed, and when all the regulations were lifted slowly beginning in 1993 on the corporations and then more aggressively during the Bush years, due to their run away greed, we ended up in the mess we are in. None of us need or want to go back to that, do the Republicans even understand that?

America and Americans cannot go back to that ever again, and certainly not when the middle class Americans are fighting poverty while your Tea Party members in the States and Washington are holding up the middle class tax breaks along with shutting down Unions, with the Republican Party support.

Certainly you must know that the middle class is aware of the facts that both government and unions protect the middle class jobs from free enterprise’s greed when they refuse to pay a living wage for a good days work, in the States. We know instead that capitalism is doing very well on Wall Street and stock piling money into the trillions while they shut down jobs in America, and build in China and India, where they can offer slave labor wages, instead.

When you, the Republicans, refuse to listen to the dire needs of the middle class here in America, and instead continue fighting for what got us in this mess in the first place, you will have to learn on election day.” that frankly my dears, we do not give a damn about your issues, when you can care less about what you are doing to the impoverishment of the middle class.”
