Truth About Corporate Tax And Drilling

Once more I watched Republican Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell, spread the fallacy about Corporate taxes being the highest in America than anywhere else in the World, over the weekend, and the reporter do nothing to clarify that Statement.

The following is a direct quote taken from the Center of Budget and Policy Priorities as of 2005:”The U.S. corporate tax burden is smaller than average for developed countries(1)Corporations in 19 of the member States of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Developement paid 16.1 percent of their profits in taxes between 2000 and 2005,on average, while corporations in the United States paid 13.4 percent.

Neverless, some have argued that U.S. corporate tax rates unduly burden U.S. Companies by pointing to the Country’s top statutory rate which is 35%. For example a recent Wall Street Journal editorial calling for corporate tax cuts noted that this is the second highest top statutory tax rate amongst developed countries (2)While true this gives the false impression that corporate tax burden is greater here than in developed countries. Because the U.S. tax code offers so many deductions,credits, and other mechanisms by which corporations can reduce their taxes the actual percentages of profits that the U.S.corporations pay in taxes—or what analysts refer to as their effective tax rate——-is not high ,compared to other developed countries.

Because the average U.S. corporate tax burden is low,many economists believe a revenue corporate tax reform that reduces statutory corporate tax rates,while broadening the tax base by eliminating costly tax breaks could improve efficiency and likely benefit the U.S. economy."

Since the finding was published in 2005 the U.S. statutory tax rate has risen to 38% and is tied with Japan. The overall tax rates with the Bush tax cuts in place,have lowered the rates most corporations pay to even less that those of other developed Countries since this report was printed in 2005, however, with some Corporations paying 0% of their profits in taxes due to the welfare and entitlements given to Corporations by the Bush tax breaks. When the Republicans complain about high corporate taxes paid by American Corporations they or nor do reporters, that I have seen, ever point out that with the deductions they gain they pay 0 to very little in taxes along side of other developed Countries.

With the new slogan in the Republican Party being "Drill Baby Drill", when it comes to convincing the American public that gas prices will drop at the pumps, it is just another of the half truths coming out of the mouths of the Republican Party.

60% of all the increase we are paying is estimated to be as a direct result of speculators on Wall Street in the commonities market betting on if the price of oil will go up or if it will drop. Since all of our oil drilled is traded on the global market not an ounce
of it is guaranteed for U.S. consumption.

If America opened up all of our National Parks tomorrow, for Oil exploration and drilling, it would not make one drop of difference as to the price we pay at the pumps. We have so little oil in America along side of other oil producing Nations, even with totally ignoring carbons if it was all drilled tomorrow we would still need to buy on the global market. America uses 20% of all world production although that has fallen in the last 3 years by a percentage point or two. America has such little oil within the boundaries of America that Saudi Arabia would not lose sleep even with drilling both in California and Alaska. We stand to gain far more in both solar and wind power as that cannot be sold on a global market but instead can only be used within the continental United States boundaries. The Obama Administraation is pushing for more research and development of the same in order to make us energy independent from the global markets.

As it is,we are drilling for more oil and natural gas in America than at any time in our history and it has not made any difference at the gas pumps. The Republicans saying it did in 2008 are ignoring the fact that prices fell due to the drop of use during a recession. Since oil lobbyist pay an average of 8.8 billion dollars a year in contributions to legislatures, in Washington, it just pays for the Republicans who gain much of that to say, "drill baby drill." Another fallacy is the amount of jobs created by the drilling.With opened up drilling in the U.S. over the last four years only,70,000 jobs have been added.The exagerations in jobs created by both the Republicans and the billions paid in ads by the oil Companies is another one of those half truths. It has accounted for less than .01% of the drop in unemployment.

Once more the Republicans continue to play the American people for the fools that has always worked for them in the past. The Tea Party lies mixed in with their old worn out half truths in 2010,
won them a great deal of seats that none of us can any longer afford they hold in November. Vote their cronies out now and get them out in the following election so that we the American people can laugh again, and know,"We got the last laugh on them."

The Tea Party are still Republicans and instead of meaning what they say, they go the opposiite direction,no different from their other party members.Right now that is the only thing that we can count on in the Republican Party. It shouldn't be enough for any of us who go to the polls to vote on unless we are the gullible fools that they continue to play us for. Its in our hands with our votes at the polls in November. If we don't vote them out then we have no right to bitch. America needs to get back to happier times and the majority of us want you to step up to the plate and to vote for truth and Democracy for all of us.

Message To President OBama

I would tell you President OBama, “Do not back down on the bullying being done by the Right-wing Conservatives.” The fact that the Catholic Church has declared war against you publicly, only indicates just how desperate the Conservatives have gotten this week. Catholics usually keep that information close to their vests, unless they are feeling desperate. Women and children of incest and rape are depending on you not to back down.

Women, gays and minorities, as well as, the working poor and middle class are behind you and backing you. The low turn outs in all of the States in both of their caucuses and primaries all show that. Mitt Romney only won 8% of the total vote in Florida while winning 16,900 votes out of a population of 2,900,000 in Nevada. The lower than normal turn out also happened in Iowa.

Rick Santorum’s sweep also is equally weak even in highly Catholic Districts. Out of a population in Mo. of 6,010,688 in a pretend race he did his best in a highly Evangelical State. There he won 138,957 votes out of a population of 6,010,688.

In a military State and heavily populated Catholic State he only won 26,372 votes in Colorado out of a population of 5,024,748. Going to war without using Diplomacy first and the Ryan Plan are both very unpopular in the State.

In an older population of Protestant descent, as Minnesota is, he only won 21,436 votes out of a population of 5,344,868. These are like all the other turn outs in all the other States where turnout is less than 2008 results, when the Republicans lost badly to the Democrats.

Clearly the voters understand and know that Rick Santorum has not yet shown his millions gained from office and lobbying in his tax forms. The fact that he voted twice for increased gifts from lobbyists and piled on ear marks has taken from the clean image and lack of character, the Evangelicals would like to hide. Being a lobbyist himself, at a time when the top ten Corporations pay more for lobbyists than they do in taxes, will follow him on the campaign trail no differently from what Mitt’s millions will him. Rick Santorum has to talk about social issues because economically his record is a disaster, until it comes to his own gains.

He voted against discrimination towards gays as being a hate crime and is against women’s rights to their own reproductive health. So his Social issues are not much better outside of the world of the “Good Old Boys”. States like Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin and Indiana are not likely to forget that before he was a Conservative he was a Tea Party candidate who are anti-Unions, as he talks about bringing back factory jobs. There is a reason that highly Catholic Pennsylvania did not want him back for a second term.

I urge you, Mr. President, not to back down to the bullying as those of us who back you are looking to you for your leadership to not let the bullies win. If you need to make a concession do not make it at a risk to women’s health or the rights of gays,minorities or the working poor and middle class, as we are your constituency.

Thank you for making the best decision you can make for us as we do know that we cannot celebrate in your win, if you do not make some compromises as well.

If they are going to win elections with lies in the Super Pacs then more power to you, if you do compromise in using Super Pacs, as well. We do understand that in a war that has been declared by the right-wing, Tea Party and Republican Party against You and the Democrats, you will need to fight “fire with fire.” Hope to celebrate your win in November.

Thanks for the job that you are doing and have done under such hateful attacks. It’s time to let those who support the “Good Old Boys”in Washington and those who are “hopefuls” take a drink from their own verbal poison.

More Hypocrisy Against Birth Control

Last week when President OBama announced that Catholic Colleges and Hospitals would be made to cover Birth Control, not abortions, for all women, we saw several Catholic heads yell,”that it was an outrage that President OBama would force them to go against their religious Convictions.” All the Republican candidates, Mitt, Newt, and Santorum have picked it up and are running with it.

Time out for the truth: 28 States have made in mandatory that all Religious Institutions must provide for the healthcare needs of women including birth control. It has existed in these States for years, and was decided by the Supreme Courts in their States as to be Constitutional as well as sent back to the States by the United States Supreme Court to give that decision to the States. On the Federal level the United States Supreme Court has ruled the same. Because other States know they would lose if they fought it in their States they also insist that coverage for birth control in Religious hospitals and Institutions be covered.

There was a time in History that the Mormon Church claimed interference with Religious Freedom when it came to practice of Polygamy. Fundamentalist Mormons still try to argue it. Seven Day Adventist who believe that Jesus heals, and fail to get their children medical treatment in cases of neglect or serious illness, claim it is against their religious rights when Government decides to prosecute. There is a current case on the docket where parents are being prosecuted because they let their son die from untreated cancer although he complained bitterly to them as well as his teachers about being in severe pain.

Our Founding fathers established the Supreme Court to be the highest Court of the land and no one can claim religious rights above the law of the Supreme Court. It has been tested by Religion throughout the course of history but it is well established in our Constitution, that no law or belief supersedes the Law of man through the Supreme Court. What the right wing conservatives really want is to appoint the Supreme Court Justices that they think will side with their views by winning the election for the Republicans, just as they have appointed conservatives judges in all of our States.

This is not abortion on any level nor is President OBama requiring abortion coverage on the Federal Level. What is really at debate here,is the Catholic Church is insisting that the Plan B birth control or more commonly known as the morning after pill, not be given to rape victims, since they call it an abortion pill instead of a birth control pill. It like all other birth control, be it an IUD, pill, or condom, simply stops the sperm from reaching the egg since it takes 72 hours to do so. If a woman is pregnant, like all the other forms of birth control, it is not effective against preventing pregnancy after the fact. (sorry about constantly repeating myself on this issue but until people really understand what the Plan B birth control pill is, it is necessary that we do)

The Catholic Church is insisting that rape victims, of all beliefs, not be given the Plan B birth control pill following rape, when victims of rape are transported to their hospitals. They instead are declaring interference with Religious Rights, in an attempt to tie the hands of the nursing and Doctor staff, when it comes to sparing victims further suffering from the fear of pregnancy, when the staff provides the victims with the morning after pill. This includes children of the ages of 12 to 15,as well as University students and public school children, who are victims of rape.

Since President OBama is simply following through on the Federal level the hypocrites during an election year are now out in full force. As long as the Catholic Church is hiring people from all different faiths or non faiths, they do not have a right to disclude their Constitutional rights to use birth control, by people of different faiths or non-faiths, in their Insurance programs or refuse other people on other insurance programs the right to use birth control. They can insist that their own membership not use birth control but 98% of all sexually active Catholics do use birth control. Birth control is also used in treatment for a number of other health problems in women, who are not sexually active.

In a previous post I said that the Catholic Church has the legal right to not carry insurance in cases that apply to their hospitals, charities, or organizations. This is true. However if they do provide insurance, because they want to attract the most qualified workers, they must follow the law as stated in the Constitutional rights of non-Catholic members, as well as, all women’s health needs. The Catholic Church does cover Viagra along with all health needs for men. Since a large percentage of rapists are impotent one could argue that it is wrong for them to insure the coverage of Viagra.

Mitt Romney himself, while Governor of Massachusetts, which is a State that insists that all birth control be covered for women, said nothing about it while Governor of the State but since it plays well to blame President OBama as being against the Catholic Church or Religious rights in general, Mitt is now making much to do about it, as is Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

To do so plays well with the right-wing conservatives and Evangelicals. What they don’t realize is that when women go into the booth to vote they will all find that women in general, Catholics included, will find it for what it is and just another political maneuver against women to decide for themselves their right to make the decision on their own reproductive well-being and health. Perhaps they do know that, and that is the reason that Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Rick Santorum along with the Tea Party are all on the same page in an effort to make the women majority voters second class citizens without rights to their own body and health. This hate is what unites them all against President Barack OBama, afterall.

It may play well with the conservatives, just as the Susan B. Komen Foundation, removing funding to Planned Parenthood did, but in the end when women organize to throw their support together, we find Karen Handel resigning and Susan B, Komen returning funding to Planned Parenthood. 3 million more donor dollars, also added by others outside of the Foundation, were added to Planned Parenthood who is the winner in the debate.

When “Good Old Boys”, try to deny women their Constitutional rights under the law, it is the “Good Old Boys’ who lose. This plays a large role in why Rick Santorum, who is both a Tea Party Darling as well as Conservative choice won big in Missouri, Colorado, and Minnesota yesterday. The candidates would all be wise to choose another topic such as what it is they plan on doing towards bringing jobs to the communities since they profess that is their strong point.

We know the Republican philosophy of “trickle down economics” does not work for the working poor and middle class,but only makes Corporations and the wealthy richer, so how are they going to help the working poor and middle class without promoting that Capitalism provides jobs, when we know that they are shipping the jobs overseas instead?

That seems to be lacking in all of these Republican candidates campaign messages. There are no concrete blue prints amongst any of them, since their real intentions, along with the help of the Tea Party, is to cut costs for Corporations by eliminating Government Departments that protect the rights of workers,along with all the Unions who establish wages and working conditions for all of us.

The Republican Party also want the conservatives to appoint their own Supreme Court Justices in an effort to deny equal rights to women,minorities and gays, through their Religious beliefs. If they were honest with us, we wouldn’t find their truth to be a popular subject so instead they keep throwing up smoke screens as though we are all too stupid to see through them.

Since the total truth of the Republican plan will not win them an election, then we keep hearing all of these lies and attacks. If that wins them the election then we only have ourselves to blame.

Susan B. Komen and Planned Parenthood

I warned in my post,”Bring Back Investigative Reporting”, that there was a U-Tube video, that set up Planned Parenthood that went virile, and no news Agency investigated the obvious falsehood that was tied to the video on this blog in Dec., although they reported it. I also warned in my post, “Who are the pro-choice,”in Jan., that there was a drive underway, by the right-wing conservatives, to remove all funding from Planned Parenthood and to shut it down.

Since all candidates running on the Republican ticket are of that mind-set, it simply projects the future of poor and middle class women in America,who can no longer afford health Insurance, if a Republican candidate wins the general election in November.

With the right-wing and Tea Party influence and an already out of control Republican Party, we can bet it will become part of their platform at the Republican Convention this summer.If the right-wing has had the power to keep Science and Global warming off of the platform we can almost bet they will win on this, as well.

The public in America are being lied to about Planned Parenthood in every sector of America, when it comes to abortion in Planned Parenthood. Republican Senator John Kyl, who is second in charge, stood on the floor and said 90% of what Planned Parenthood does is abortion. The internet lists a site that says 95% of what they do is abortion.

Priests and Ministers across America are exaggerating the truth, by including the Plan B or morning after pill which is nothing more than a birth control pill. It takes the sperm 72 hours to reach the egg and the Plan B or more commonly known as the morning after pill, prevents the sperm from reaching the egg, just like every other form of birth control, including the condom.

Bill O’Reilly on Fox News says that 50% of what Planned Parenthood does is abortion. We don’t even need to get into Christian Broadcasting Network and Rush Limbaugh, when it comes to the lack of truth in reporting,because the truth is that only 3% of what Planned Parenthood does, is to deal with abortion, at a time in our Country where a live child is dying every 5 minutes due to starvation and or related disorders.Since the majority of abortion occur in the poor, statistics show that when the economy does better then abortions drop accordingly, as well.

In over 200,000 cases, women have been counciled out of getting abortions so the 277,000 reported abortions done last year could have been even greater without Planned Parenthood. The amount of abortions are very small in comparison to the deaths in live births that happen as a result of Poverty in America. If we eliminated the loop holes and the laws that allows for greed amongst the 1% and instead paid the 99% a just wage as we did 20 plus years ago,before Newt Gingrich won back control of the House and Senate for the Republicans, we would see abortions drop substantially. Planned Parenthood isn’t the problem but part of the solution as they served the health needs of 2,900,000 patients last year, and it includes both men and women.

The goal of the Susan B. Komen Foundation is to eradicate all Breast Cancer so it seems odd that they would remove all funds to Planned Parenthood who does 700,000 mammograms a year on women who cannot afford insurance.

That is until we look even further at the climate that is going on in Washington. The Vice President, who has joined the Susan B. Komen Foundation, Karen Handel, was a Tea Party darling in the gubernatorial race in Georgia,in 2010. Sarah Palin, spoke for her and threw total support behind her. Karen Handel lost the race.

When Karen Handel was running for Governor of Georgia in 2010, as a Tea Party darling, she said the following:”I am pro-life and I do not support the mission of Planned Parenthood,” also,”As a pro-life governor, I will eliminate any grants that support abortion to Planned Parenthood.” The President of the Susan B. Komen foundation is also Republican.

Don’t forget that I have reported in another post, that the State of Georgia, conservative Republicans are currently being fought by the Democrats, because they are attempting to remove Barack OBama’s name from the Ballots in both their primaries and general election. They claim, even after seeing President OBama’s birth certificate, that he is not a citizen of United States.The environment that Karen Handel has sprung from, before she took over the position at Susan B. Komen foundation, is already nuts according to those of us who do understand the insanity that is coming out of the State of Georgia, as well as, the need for uninsured women amongst us, to get quality health care in the prevention of Breast Cancer.

We need to look towards Washington where conservative Republican, Cliff Stearns, is threatening to do a Congressional Investigation into Planned Parenthood,then it all makes sense as to why the Susan B. Komen foundation is withdrawing funding.

It is just total interference into the equal rights of women,to take care of their own reproductive health as well as their health in general and to get quality healthcare, who could not afford to get it elsewhere, both by the groups who represent the Churches, as well as, the right-wing Republicans, who will ultimately use the Tea Party candidate as a scape goat once their mission is accomplished. There is not room for both in the same Party. The Tea Party will be the loser.

In my opinion there is not room for two varying ideologys on conservative values with such extremes dividing both. It is like getting the Evangelicals and Catholics to agree on Doctrine;or the Republicans in Congress to agree to President’s OBama two trillion-dollar budget cut, in order to balance the budget and to pay down the deficit. It simply won’t happen in either case.

The Spokesperson for Susan B. Komen, acknowledged that the reason for the withdraw of funding was due to the Congressional Investigation into Planned Parenthood, initially, according to the head of Planned Parenthood, but she was immediately silenced and instead the public was told, by the President of the Susan B, Komen Foundation, that it is not a political decision.

Representative Waxman, Democrat from California, says the Congressional Investigation, is nothing more than trumped-up charges. Diana DeGette from Colorado, calls it a “witch hunt.”

The reason I believe them, has nothing to do with my being Democrat, but everything to do with the fact that the signs have been obvious to any one with common sense, since before 2010, that they would have the Tea Party candidates do their dirty work and would shut down Planned Parenthood.

Once they find a scapegoat, then they will be able to keep their hands clean. Otherwise too many women, as in the case of Newt Gingrich, would choose not to vote for the conservatives in the future, and we women, are the majority voters, in America.

Todays enthusiasm amongst the young people in the Tea Party reminds me of the same enthusiasm that existed in the John Birch Society when Barry Goldwater was running against Richard Nixon. They sunk Goldwater in the end and the moderates prevailed. I predict the same will happen with Gingrich and Santorum and Mitt will defeat himself. Don’t be surprised though to see Ron Paul turn his delegates over to Mitt at the convention. Because of his son, Rand’s future in Politics, he will need to side with the moderates, in the end.

Union Busting, is going on in the States of Wisconsin with the recall of Tea Party paid for Republican Governor, Scott Walker, and the Tea Party paid for Republican Governor Mitch Daniels,of Indiana (He did the rebuttal for the Republicans after the State of the Union Address, by Barack OBama, and Mitch Daniels registered a ” Liar Pants On Fire” with Poilitifacts).  It was also attempted in Ohio before they signed a referendum against them.

The Union Busting by the Tea Party in these States are being done against the workers.Since the Unions establish the wages we all get, it is an attack by the Republicans against all workers of the working poor and middle class. The Tea Party elected governors, are hiding behind “the right to work law” and forcing it through legislation in States where there is a Republican majority in the States, in an effort to eliminate all Unions.

In doing so they can pay the working poor and middle class less in wages and require that they work longer hours. Once a man who has political ambition, gains a reputation as a Union Buster, he will never again get the blue-collar workers vote. When the Conservatives are done with them doing their dirty work, they will simply blame them to cover their own butts. No Politician in America can win an election without the vote of women,or the poor, or the middle class, and that is why each election year the Republicans court us and then turn to the protection of Wall Street and their profits.

Finally then I believe this Congressional Investigation, against the Planned Parenthood, also smells just like the Star Committee that was formed and set up by the Conservatives to try to get all the dirt on the Clintons that they could get, at taxpayers expenses, in the 1990′s. Once we know how these Conservatives work, in their dirty little games, we never forget it.

Anyone who thinks this was not politically driven needs to educate themselves further on how much destruction is being done in America by these groups in the name of Christianity. It has been said much better than I can say it, long before me, and that is:”Oh what a web we weave when first we practice to deceive…”

I urge you to do your homework, before you vote in November. Our education standards, and our equal rights in a Democracy as women, and as the poor and middle class in America, as we have known it, is at stake. Good luck in your pursuits.

Who Are The Pro-Choice?

We are the majority, we are the pro-choice. We are both men and women who will never have an abortion nor will our daughters or grand daughters ever have an abortion. We understand that the decision, if it occurs, will be a difficult decision for all involved, if they feel forced into making that decision. We are older men and women, students and non-students,young and middle-age, rich and poor, Christians and non-Christians.

We are Americans, who understand and appreciate that the choices that women make needs to be protected by law, as history proves there are those who will deny us our legal rights, when we do not have freedom of choice or equality.

We are old enough to know and remember the horrors that women suffered before Roe vs. Wade. We understand and know to take the legal decision away from women will only condemn them to an uncertain probability that they will go elsewhere or try to abort on their own, without the care of professionals.

We understand that when the law is changed, if it is, we condemn our fellow sisters to an uncertain probability that they will not survive an illegal abortion. We remember the days, when as women, we did not have choices and as such live babies were killed and buried or left on door steps of vacant buildings or in garbage cans. Dr.s knew that abuse of some kind was going on but for years they refused to believe that parents, much less mothers could injure or kill their babies.

Because poverty was so common it was simply easier to list babies as failure to thrive or crib deaths and it is only modern medicine that recognizes that the probability of live births who were smothered or died, existed before abortion became legal. It was a well-kept secret amongst women or family members who assisted in the births, especially when incest was present,or the baby was a mixed race,or a mother thought the child would starve due to extreme poverty, and when Dr.s were rarely called. We remember that making abortions legal lead to a drop in abortions and death of live births.

We all know regardless of age, we cannot speak for other women who have the very difficult decision that we pray none of us will ever have to make.

We understand there are mothers of 12 to 16 year olds who have been raped by family members,friends, or strangers. We know that incest involves mostly girls, from the age of 8 to 12 but boys as well, and is the most under-reported crime in America, followed by rape of boys and then girls. We understand that women who are drug addicts and victims of incest will often go into prostitution and are bullied by pimps who will kill them or desert them in alley ways as beaten pulps, if they do not get an abortion.

We understand even when it appears to be a loving relationship as well as marriage, when a woman who is pregnant or recently pregnant dies the number one cause of death is homicide. Unless men are examined or penalized for life for the role that they play in the death of women who get pregnant and they either demand they get an abortion or pretend to go along with the pregnancy, when they clearly do not want the child, women are placed at an even greater jeopardy when abortion is not legal.

We understand that young girls who feel discriminated against by their fellow students and unloved will often seek out men or predators on the inter-net, sometimes as early as the age of 12 to 14, and their parents will need to make a difficult decision when it comes to a child having a child, and will need the law on their side when they do.

We understand that children and young women who suffer from a number of diseases that pregnancy will either kill them or disable them further, sometimes do get pregnant. We know that both they and sometimes their parents as well as their Doctors will need to make a decision that will need the law on their side.

We know there are older women with lung and heart problems, also with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s’ disease,obesity,Arthritis, and diabetes who will not survive the birth of a child or be disabled further. We know tests show mothers they are carrying a serious mentally damaged fetus without a brain. We know that in cases of artificial insemination too many embryos complicate a live birth and in all these cases both the women and the Doctor need to be protected by law.

And finally we understand, any decision a woman will feel they need to make, is their right to make, and between them and their Doctor and we are not appointed as judges and jury nor as emperors or dictators, over their lives, when they are adults and given the God-given right as well as the State-given right to make those decisions, themselves.

We know that history shows that with or without laws, women will have abortions or simply leave babies to die, in the case of unwanted pregnancy, and the only way we can lessen that from happening is to have a place like Planned Parenthood who is able to reach the women who have little to no money and the most likely to get abortions.

We need these trained professionals, in place, who can reach women and distribute birth control to prevent pregnancy and death or starvation. We need doctors who can attend to the needs of women and girls who are not sexually active but do not have healthcare so cannot afford the services of regular Doctors. We need them to offer council to our own daughters who.” would rather die,”(not actually just an expression in most cases) than talk to their parents about birth control or let them know they are sexually active.

We know that Planned Parenthood was able to council 241,000 women out of having an abortion last year. We know they save lives, as well when it comes to treating sexually transmitted diseases. We cannot allow the Conservative vote of America to play God in the lives of those who depend on this service for their own survival,knowledge or health, as they are.

We need to know and understand that the Republican conservatives and Tea Party sponsored Republicans as well as the moderate, that claims to be conservative (this includes the entire field including, Ron Paul, of all the candidates running on the Republican ticket), who if elected, will take away all government funding to Planned Parenthood and close it down. All the Planned Parenthoods, are currently under serious attack by the Republican Party.

Vote for women in November. Vote for Obama, as the proven candidate, who signed into law a woman’s right to be paid the same as a man for the same job, after years of it being held up by the House and Senate.

The Secret No One Will Tell

I ask my readers to bear with me as I write about views that you may not agree with, but my attempt is to give a factual history of what is so often exaggerations or lies on the view often perceived about feminism and the history of women in the work force. I certainly am not preaching to the choir nor forcing anyone’s views on anyone but presenting a historical view while disputing what Rick Santorum is saying on the campaign trail. I am not making a judgement but simply presenting a different view from what some may not be aware of. It has never been more important to explain to women today regardless of our ages, so those of us who do want to learn what is driving the Republican Party today can. I will begin in the beginning:

It is matter of Dogma in the Christian Churches of America, who deal in Dogma,and unchangeable because it goes back to Biblical days in the Catholic Church as well as the earlier established religions, that when a child is born, God breathes a soul into them. A woman’s body was considered too unclean for a soul to co-exist in. Men were actually afraid of a woman’s period and feared that it gave women an unspoken power.

Many held that the fetuses that are aborted do not have a soul or a mind and simply return as human matter, since they are dead before they are born. No one can live without a brain and it does not fully form enough to reckonize pain or to sustain life, until later into the last trimester, and explains one of the many reasons, why premature babies need to be kept alive on IV’s and or machines.

The fact that not all States have set a time limit on abortion, all these years later and some abortions are born alive, is a tragedy in our Nation. 90% of all abortions happen in the first trimesters with the other 10% happening in the second and third so these are rare abortions in numbers, fortunately. The great majority of abortions happen in the poor and minorities. I could not agree more that all live births, under these circumstances, should be handled as adoptions in America.

It was viewed for generations going back to the first of Christianity during the time of Charlemaine that, Christ established separation of Church and State when He said,”Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and unto God that which is God’s. All people born alive and have a soul are returned to God regardless of how they die. By Christ going to His own crucifixion and asking for the worse murderer in the prison to be released and crucified next to Him,they believed that He showed all Christians that regardless of our sins, all we needed to believe was in Christ, and we would all go to Heaven. St. Paul wrote the same in his gospel.

Separation of Church and State became law, I believe in the 1940′s, and in exchange for the Churches staying out of State ran business, the voters gave the Churches continued freedom from taxation. The voters have the power to take that away if it ever is brought back up for vote, which is highly unlikely.

Radical feminism, unlike what Santorum says, did not give women a desire to work out of the home. In the 1940′s when the men were drafted during World War two, there was no one left to work the factories so women worked them. Women discovered they enjoyed working out of the home. Since there was no middle class, until both men and women began working, it was never a problem for babysitters as often as many as 3 generations would share the same home, and grandmothers cared for the children.

Private ownership of homes did not happen in the working class until the men returned home from the war and the GI bill both provided affordable homes and educated the returning men. Both men being educated as well as women finding they liked working out of the homes, as well as, using their minds, is what grew Americans from poverty into a middle class in America. Women were educated further, as well, and became secretaries, nurses, teachers or hair Dressers.

It was very rare and mostly single women of the wealthy, with liberal fathers, might become Doctors, lawyers or run banks. It is important that we all know and understand that there were only two classes before this; the poor and the wealthy. The poor, were all but owned by the wealthy in America at the turn of the 20th Century, and had no say over their future. They were totally at the mercy of the wealthy when it came to both the amount of wages they received and hours worked.It would take Unions to change the specter of the landscape so that laborers did not have to work until sun up to sun down with unfair wages, and they could move away from the Company Stores and move out of poverty. Minimum wage did not enter the picture until the 1960′s when the middle class was well established.

For Centuries going all the way back to the Bible, abortions were going on and as long as it was just the poor and prostitutes, and the wealthy could go to Doctors to get it done safely, neither the Doctors or the Churches ever preached against abortions, openly, or even mentioned that they were going on.Women would simply die from women’s problems or if married they would have miscarriages, if they lived.

Since the poor all lived together and often shared the same bedrooms with their parents, incest was frequent. The sisters and daughters often died with both infection and coat hangers used in abortions or from sexually transmitted diseases.The prostitutes suffered the same fate and were often impregnated by the single or married men of the wealthy stature. The poor had no money to pay for a prostitute.

The Church looked on a married man as using a prostitute as not committing adultery. There were dark ally practitioners who were butchers before Roe vs. Wade made it legal in 1969. The passage of the Equal Rights Amendment in 1971, took control of the husband over his wife away, as women were given equal rights with equal say.

The women’s right’s movement in the 1960′s, worked tirelessly to improve the lot of women so that they were no longer the property of their husbands’ and had a say in their lives. This is the radical feminists that Santorum talks about. The Women’s Rights Movement was as supportive of women who wished to be home makers as they were of women who wanted to work out of the home. They fought for equal pay for the same job men held, and it was not until OBama signed it into law, all these years later, that it actually has gone into effect.

The biggest lie that those who are against women’s rights all like to tell is that the Equal Rights Amendment is not necessary as it is given in the Constitution. Before it was passed the Churches argued that man was given domain over his wife and property in the Bible and it was interference from the State when anyone objected to women being treated poorly. Women were totally dependent on their husbands’ permission and it was no one’s business but her husband’s before the Equal Rights Admendment was added.

Any time we hear anyone say it is not necessary, because it is already in the Constitution, we know we are talking to a liar or someone who is delusional. It was not until women could use birth control and stop the sperm from reaching the egg, that they could tell the men if they wanted a child or not. Prior to this there were condoms but mostly women considered of ill repute or the wealthy used them. A man determined the size of his family.

The Plan B birth control, or the morning after pill, is no different from any other birth control in that it prevents the sperm from reaching the egg, the same all birth control does. It is called the morning after pill because it is best when taken then as it takes 72 hours for the sperm to reach the egg. It is totally ineffective if a woman waits too long and is pregnant. The baby will be born if an abortion by a Dr. is not performed. This pill is the one the Churches want outlawed and refer to it as an abortion pill. Abortions were much higher before birth control and when they were illegal, than they are today.

Abortion only became a open problem with the Churches when birth control to all women instead of just the wealthy, showed up in the 1950′s. The Church condoned the rhythm method that made many families larger, as rarely did it work.Available birth control that women could control gave women the freedom that men had and the Catholic Church in the 1950′s fought it just as hard then as they do abortions today.They and the Mormon Church along with the fundamentalists, were all together in their fight to prevent equal rights, but none put more money in and fought it harder than the Mormon Church, beginning in 1920.

When Roe vs. Wade took effect it became the fight between pro-life and pro-choice. Women were led to believe that the fetus has a brain and can feel pain but the brain is not developed fully enough to do so until the end of the 3rd cycle nor does it have a soul unless it is born alive. The Dogma is still in place that a soul can only be breathed into a live child at birth. I repeat, this dogma cannot be changed according to the beliefs of the early churches.

Santorum has already announced that if elected he will lead all of America by his Catholic Religion. The Catholic Church has selected all presidents, in I believe the last 50 years, but the Two Bushes who were elected by the Evangelicals. This time they are all in it together but the Tea Party Evangelicals crashed and burned when both Perry and Bachman left the race.

The “God father” of the Tea Party,Ron Paul, says he has no vision for the White House so it is possible that if he, who is also against abortion,endorses Tea Party candidate, Rick Santorum, and the tea party darlings, Bachman and Perry, supporters do as well, that Santorum may be able to beat out one of the Mormons running, but it is highly unlikely since his ideas are too radical for mainstream Republicans.

Santorum and Gingrich are Catholic and Huntsman and Romney are Mormons. One of the two Mormons will more likely win and if anyone believes that neither will not lead the Nation by his Mormon religion, I can only say,”Are you nuts?!

As soon as I say that, knowing Mitt Romney is currently being reported as the favorite by the media, one cannot discount the “friends of the Catholic Church”either.(I put that in quotes on purpose, as there are many wealthy members who are)The fact that Santorum would blow up the Middle East should give us all pause as to why the man is even running with Church support in the first place. If we don’t then we should question our own motives.

Our common sense should tell us that none of them are candidate material for the volatile situation that the Middle East and Korea are in, currently, and all would support the status quo or obstruct it,in the Republican Party, so we all need to question if it is simply Church sponsored, as in right-wing conservatives or John Birch Society mentality Tea Party candidates who can be appointed to the Republican Party today?

It has never been more important to vote than it is in 2012 even though the Republicans will do their best to turn away the senior citizens, minorities and Students if they do not have picture ID in 31 States. It is highly Unconstitutional to do so but their judges have made it law. It is a deliberate attempt to keep those who would vote for OBama away from the voting polls, since this is the group of people who would be less likely to have reason to carry picture ID as many take public transportation, as well as, the people who voted for OBama in 2008.

The Senior Citizens should know, if they don’t already, that the Republicans will make Social Security private the first chance they get so they should turn out in large numbers to vote for the Democrats There are many injustices that will follow when it comes to the gains that women have made. Our Social Security system actually works as is, and that is the reason that Seniors are not suffering the way other Americans are.

Not all Americans are Christians and not all of them share the same Dogma when they are Christians. That is exactly why the law was passed to protect those that aren’t in the same Churches or Faiths in order to not show favoritism to one Faith over another. It is the law that the State stays out of Religion and Religion stays out of State matters. Again the law is Separation of Church and State with the Churches not being able to influence elections or pick the person who will hold any political office. They consistently break the law and that is why some people are suggesting that they then pay taxes and why they are yelling “Persecution!’

Anyway the conservatives judges are stacked and piled high with the Republican Party in control of the House and they hope Senate in 2012. This is their year to make sure that the Equal Rights Amendment gets overturned and that abortion is removed from the Federal government and sent to the States. It is their time to strike and win and to defeat both a woman’s right for abortion and birth control, regardless of the reason, and to do away with the Equal Rights Amendment.When Romney talks about bringing back the Soul to America that is exactly what he is talking about.

When they do, then women will be pregnant and families without healthcare will also be unable to maintain the middle class status with one house hold member working, and the middle class will shrink even farther and families will return to poverty. Their belief is that if men are given back the control then women will want to stay home and nurture the child, as it is only radical feminism that has made them want to work out of the home.

Newt Gingrich (sometimes he talks too much) has already explained how they would train the African-Americans to serve the wealthy. If you missed it, he would make both janitors and babysitters out of them so they would be trained to both clean and baby sit the homes and children of the wealthy, so they can earn a pay check instead of an education.

It also explains the move against education, as well.Education, according to the Evangelicals and Fundamentalists, puts false ideas into the heads of people who learn both history and Science. You cannot attend College in a 4 year program without taking courses in both. They want all ideas of evolution replaced with Creationism in the text books, that our kids learn from, and have been successful in doing so in Kansas and the South. They do not accept global warming or Science and as a result neither will be part of the Republican platform this election year. Is it any wonder we have fallen to 26 in the World when it comes to education standards with the rest of the World?

The only thing standing in their way is Barack OBama and the Democrats, and for that reason they are desperate to get rid of them. It is also the reason we keep hearing that the Democrats are just as much at fault and standing in the way of the Republicans to be able to give jobs to the workers. It is also the reason they are all saying that Barack OBama and the Democrats are making all Americans dependent on the government. Both are pure and unadulterated Bull s**t! Instead they refuse to sign his jobs bill that would hire people for construction and inter-structure jobs.

Abortion and the fact that OBama took on cleaning up corruption in the Insurance companies,as well as tried to gain healthcare for all since the people told him it was their number one concern in 2008, are the reasons so many lies began within 6 months of OBama taking office. It has been a long 3 years of lies since.

The pro-life movement will never get this chance again so they have to make sure OBama does not win. The longer he is in office the more conservative judges will be replaced by the Democrats’ choices and then they will not have the judges to make the call to make abortion illegal.By taking it back to the States they can eliminate the Federal Decision of Roe vs. Wade made in the Supreme Court because then it will be a States right matter to decide, and they have their judges waiting.

The Greatest Inspiration–Hope

Mankind as we know it, would have died off years ago if it wasn’t for a simple inspiration that keeps us going and that is Hope. As long as we have hope that things will improve in our lives we have the courage to deal with life head on. During periods of rejection if we were not able to hope that the person who had been in our lives previously, and we long to have back in our lives, would not be coming back, many of us would simply quit on life and living itself.

It is when we lose sight of all hope that suicides happen. Fortunately, the great majority of us have such a high rate of survival instincts built into us that it does not cross the mind of most of us because of hope. People that cling to hope will continue putting one step in front of each other until they reach the level of reality that tells us that the person is not coming back and many times we are better off if they don’t. Even in relationships that we are being mistreated and abused,many times, we do not initially have an awareness as to the extent of the mistreatment so hope keeps us going until the clouds rise and we can see the horizon of our lives more clearly than what we do in the beginning, when all things in our lives are kept moving because of hope.

When we get the worse diagnosis of our lives we are kept going sometimes on nothing more than hope so that we can strengthen our reserves enough to the point that we ourselves can make the resolve to give the disease or illness a run for its money. As the old saying goes”When life gets tough the tough get going.” When a child is diagnosed we especially feel a surge of hope that will keep us learning and challenging the current views of medicine in hopes that our child’s disease will have a better outcome and work towards the goals that many times make it possible.

We should not confuse hope for denial as hope offers us the strength to smile and laugh again and to find the time that we need to accept or search for a different solution or result. Denial is no different from giving up. As long as we deny that it exist then we do nothing towards finding a different direction to take to cure or change our reality much less an effective way to deal with anything in our own life much less our child’s life.

Where Faith may be the great healer of our lives it can only correspond with the hope that we all have potential to reach out and grasp in order to make our own lives greater. Sometimes it can actually be better for our own well-being to avoid all people who would destroy the hope in our life with negatives such as “dreamer” or “impossible” until we ,ourself, are able to separate the two from reality as verses denial. At other times it helps to reach out for those that will be honest with us and refuse to let us lie to ourselves but will not destroy our right to hope.

Just as hope keeps us going then false hope can also be destructive to our own well-being. A good mix of Doctors or a professional team many times will be the help we need to draw our own conclusions. It is both unfair of us to expect family and friends to do the thinking for us as much as it is for them to assume the decisions for us. The real crises in our lives do not get solved over a few drinks with family or friends but with the Professional people who have the means to help along with our own determination and power to both research and find answers for ourselves and to maintain hope when hope is still viable.

Never discount the power of hope,prayer, faith, laughter, and research done on our own with the help of a good medical dictionary. We all know people who should not be walking or who should not be alive today because they did have hope and courage to find solutions that did compliment the programs that their own doctors had not taken into consideration. Remember it is only in accidents that we do not sometimes wake up again. With diagnosis of disease and illness we always have hope as well as time. The sooner we get going the more time we have, obviously. If the medical team you now have in place is not nor ever will consider other options, then replace them.

The more that we contribute to our own medical care and life in general, the more hope and appreciation we gain in our own strength to fight and win against the diseases that would hold us hostage. Good luck and get going as what ever happens you are giving yourself the knowledge that you gave it your best shot, in life and you are lifting the cloud that darkens your horizons of the unknown through both hope and knowledge. Regardless of the out come, “Job Well Done!” We are all pulling for you!

Unfortunate Personality Traits Found In Women

Men can have traits that we all find disgusting at times, as well, but for the most part a man will say what he means and let the cards fall where they do. The following are less than desirable traits found primarily in women who go right over the head of most men. It also explains why nice guys do sometimes marry real bitches and do not have a clue as to why other people see them differently from what he does. This is certainly not written to suggest that men are the superior gender but to remind women of the knowledge that we all already know about our gender. It is time and then some to join forces and stop the pettiness in our gender for the future of both our sons and daughters as well as, ourselves.

My list would not be complete without the “judgemental queens” so I will add them to the list, now. These women know one way and one way only to raise a child, entertain a child, and to feed a child. The same is true when it comes to the job, worshiping, or dressing. Just in general, the thought that they hold the knowledge for the way people should live their lives and if it is not passed down or gladly accepted then there is no hope for the woman who feels it is a stilted way of living and even subservient but most certainly subjective.

There is only one way to worship, to stay married and teach anyone that would listen. Once in a while they may make a concession and many times even women do not always know who these types of personalities belong to as they’re people they share their one-sided belief system with if they feel them worthy of their attention where others are not. They are not to be faulted so much as they should be pitied as they have been so brainwashed by their belief that to even vote opposite of the way that they have for 6 decades would certainly put them into a crises mode. They are a combination of the brainwashed and phony.

Men can be just as stubborn when they are caregivers, since they’re fewer of them, it is more attributed to women. Neither really know why it has to be done this way so this is what makes them both phony and brainwashed. Their parents did it this way so they do it this way.

Next comes the innuendo queens. These are women as a rule who would never be found in a one on one relationship with anyone other than their mother or sister. They need their group to operate with their little jokes that they honestly believe go right over the heads of others except their own group. For instance instead of using a phrase like, “a Hill billy” or “a country hick” or some other demeaning analogy about a person they will use a word that they think only they and their little group will pick up on and get a good laugh about later.The sorry thing about these people is they never know just how big of a fool they do look like to the rest of us. Most women have enough class not to draw attention to it and go on with their lives or conversation as though the “innuendo queen” did not open her mouth. Because of this they really do believe that they are more clever than everyone else and can be found in their 70′s still using silly little innuendoes as a form of humor.

We have the reverse of that in the “paranoia queens” who regardless of who we are talking about automatically think we are talking about them and using innuendo when it is the farthest thing from our minds. We can be talking about our own lives or people who we know and do not particularly care for and immediately they think that we are making some derogatory statement against them. It is not uncommon that they will get up and leave or make some nasty remark or even attack because they are that convinced that we are talking about them. Most of us are not even aware that we are talking about something that she can relate to while she is sitting there doing a slow boil. This is very common in both sexes but more so in the women, that as a rule, also have a drinking problem.

Then they’re what I like to refer to as the “smirk queens” they are the ones who turn to someone else in the group and smirk,raise their eyebrows, or nudge them when someone else is talking about something that she does not agree with or is over her head, as though the person speaking can not see her do it. They are also the ones who talk behind their hands if one member of the group gets up to leave and are totally unaware, many times, they are sitting in front of a mirror where everyone including the person leaving the table can see them . Usually the person that they turn to are made to feel miserably uncomfortable because they see the person that is being made fun of looking right at them and of course the person turning their heads to demean another person, obviously does not.

Next is the “queen of mean”. This personality trait does not open their mouth without saying something nasty about another person. They usually also are the office gossip,small town gossip or the gossip in almost any place that we gather. For some reason this woman always knows who puts whiskey in their morning cups of coffee, who sleeps in twin beds, who has more than a passing interest in another person’s wife, etc. None of the rest of us know it but for some reason they are the self-appointed expert in other people’s lives. Many times when other women repeat her gossip they will start the sentence with. “I don’t know how true this is as it comes from such and such” as if that excuses them from being just as much of a gossip. Gossips are in truth liars and have been known to destroy entire neighborhoods as well as keep a work force upset from the beginning to the end of the day. They are attention seekers because when they talk too many listen.

The “shallow queen” ranks in the same group of very close to the “queen of mean” and hands out compliments and then as soon as the person leaves the room makes a remark to the others that goes something like”My Lord where did she get that dress, Goodwill?” and then gets a good laugh at her own humor. For the most part we can also lump in the mean-spirited in this group of women. They are the type that would let someone bleed to death before calling 911, turn and look and laugh at someone, who shares their humor, in watching a physically challenged person struggle to walk, or let another person strain at doing her job for fear she might break a nail. All her conversations are shallow and based around appearance only. She is found often in malls and bankruptcy courts unless she can find a man or her family foolish enough to pay off her bills and then she will start all over, shopping again.

It would be remiss of be not to mention the “snob phobia queens”women who constantly talk about how they can not stand a snob when they, themselves, are the worse snob over anyone else in the room. They only think they hide it when in truth they usually have at least a couple of the other above personality traits as well.

This is the women I call the “queens of Denial.” For some reason these women think if they profess to say they hate snobs then people will believe that they are not a snob. The funny part about it is that these type of women are simply hiding an inferiority complex many times and most of us would have to ask,”what in the world does they have to be a snob about” in the first place, that they feel they need to disguise it? These women are rarely if ever anyone who an independent, nurturing woman with self-confidence and credibility would really choose as a friend anyway.

Truly they’re people who hate snobs but they are working in soup kitchens,or for others out of concern and more times than not do not have a clue as to what other’s would want them to wear but dress according to their own likes and treat people always as well as they treat themselves.

We add the “men hater queens” to our list and we find women who are fairly self-explanatory. Their fathers deserted them many times so all men will desert them. They suffered through a bad marriage when they had been warned by many before they married the jerk. Also they never do anything wrong and their husbands never do anything right, even when they do marry a nice guy. If their children fail then it is only because their fathers were too selfish to take an interest even though there is little or no truth to the statement. These women in some instances are even less interested in the well-being of women or much of anything that goes on in the world. Their children are their focal point of life.

I will leave the list at this as I have a darling little grandson I want to spend some time with. I personally feel that women were blessed with so much talent,strength, inner beauty, and true humility that it is sad that these above mentioned personality types in women all exist and the women do not find the fault in themselves.

These behaviors need to be acknowledged and treated as they do so much damage to what being a woman really is meant to be. The view towards the negative too often is heard when it comes to the positive of a woman being someone who truly does hold so much compassion and empathy for their own as well as mankind as a whole.

The negatives are the number one reason, many times, why women do not support women and yet ask any woman alive and they will all agree that they all know these women by name. Sadly there are thousands and thousands of different names in all our knowledge. They are that prevalent in our society and yet so many men are unaware of their existence and marry them anyway.

We women do know the difference and have for years so perhaps it is time that we acknowledge that it isn’t just men who are slow to grow up but we could afford to do a little ourselves, before we find out there was more damaging effects to the right-wing movements than what they brainwashed us into believing. Most important of all though, our common sense should dictate that our children deserve parents that behave as adults should.

Symbiotic Relationships and Teenage Pregnancy

In cases of imagined or real persecution these relationships exist usually between a mother and her children. In 30 % of the cases they can also exist usually between a father and sons, for instance, if the father dreamt of being a Doctor or a sports star and failed to make it he will insist on his sons being a Doctor or a sports star or pay the consequences. Usually though men are more likely to form symbiotic relationships with their jobs.

Women that marry alcoholic or abusive men or suffer from persecution identity, can in some circumstances, form symbiotic relationships to varying degrees with their children. It is usually stronger in same-sex relationships. For instance when a symbiotic relationship is began with a mother’s children and a mother is being beaten she will promise her children protection against their father in exchange for their love exclusively.

If the mother suffers from both delusions of grandeur and persecution,or psychosis, and had great dreams for herself that were cut short because she got pregnant and had to marry,lacked the talent and ability, or simply could not afford her dream, she will try to gain her dream through usually her same-sex children or child if this disorder is present.

Sons are usually pressured just the same to take over the role of their fathers. She will promise her child or children protection against their father and do everything to provide them with their needs to achieve her goals in exchange for their love. It is understood that her children will excel and if not then she will abandon them. Next to living their mother’s dream their most important job on earth is to protect her and never do anything that will embarrass the family.

These relationships are not to be confused with normal relationships where all parents want their children to do their best and to be happy. In these relationships parents are protective in varying degrees by nature and never refuse this protection. Children are supported according to their own wants and healthy desires to choose according to their own maturity. The children grow up never questioning their parent’s love for them. Their parents are both disciplined and dependable.

The symbiotic relationships are formed before a child turns two in most cases. Mothers use their children as their confidants and usually the father as the enemy that ruined her dreams and she will protect her children against their own father so that he does not ruin the children’s dreams as well. In truth this is her second chance to live or relive her dream through her children rather than to allow the children their own dreams.The relationship between the spouses has broken down and the son (many times the eldest son) replaces his dad in the family whether the couple are married or divorced.

If a mother wanted to be a Beethoven, a redound dancer, or a beauty queen it will become the role of the daughter or daughters to achieve what she was never able to achieve. She will stop at nothing to make sure that happens as long as the daughters co-operates and do as they are told. It definitely is understood that the children will be the best and if not she will with hold her love or abandon them.

The mother will do what ever it takes and pay for any lessons it takes to make sure the children knows, that if she the mother, had not done everything that she did the children would never have been able to make it on their own. Even when the goal for them is her’s and her’s alone. On the other hand, any child that refuses to do as she or he are told or shares their love with another, are quickly sabotaged by the favored children that are agreeing with their mother. She also will with hold her love and ignore the child that refuses to co-operate in her dream. It becomes a very sick, sick family and as the children start rebelling the mother with holds her love from the ones that do not co-operate while she concentrates on the one or two that remain 100% loyal to her.

Because she does everything to make certain her children or child excel they become totally dependent and clinging on her and vulnerable to everything, every emotion or thought she has. Her goals become their goals and her dreams become their dreams. Their personalities, appearances, mannerisms, and thoughts all become enmeshed with her’s. The mother’s enemies are their enemies even when it is their father or sibling. The mother’s belief is their belief, and so-on-and-so-forth. They get straight A’s if that is important to her but it is not always a requirement,they are popular always,they are everything the mother wanted but could not achieve for herself.

She will go into a deep depression and spend days in her room,rages, and do anything to make the children vulnerable to pleasing her if they refuse to do as she tells them to do. Since the children are not living their dream but instead hers’ it becomes impossible for them to make any decisions on their own without checking with her first. If she has allowed them to or has hand-picked their spouses this will often lead to divorce. In short if she says “Jump they will jump”,literally.

These relationships are passed on from one generation to the next so are repeated from one generation to the next. The cycle only gets broken, as a rule, when something of a traumatic nature comes along in the life of the child that changes the path the next generation will take. Daughters or sons must be the best friend to their mothers. Always their mother is their best friend even when they do marry. The child or children will also lie when appropriate to make sure they keep their mother looking good and to protect her against all negative matters of life. The children or child that did not co-operate will be disowned and not included in family gatherings. All members that she deems that were loyal to her will remain a part of the family structure.

If young men and women do decide to rebell in the teenage years when it is normal with maturity to do so, it quite often makes their lives even more unbearable. Often times young girls will seek out that abusive man who her father was or seek out a man even worse since a good man sometimes is turned into evil by their mother’s imagination. She will get pregnant as a teenager just so that she can have some one in her life that loves her for being just herself. She has real resentment and can become very self-destructive for being turned into a mini-me. Young men will not marry in many cases until the mother dies and they are almost certain to be unmotivated. If a young male rebells he often times can become equally self-destructive and move miles away and even out of the country to get away from the control of his mother. If he does not rebel and the mother wants grandchildren then she may approve of a wife but the son will always turn to his mother rather than his wife when it comes to decision-making. These relationships are formed in all walks of lives and have nothing to do with class distinction, religion, or politics.

If we as a society could recognize the people who do suffer from mental illness and figure out some way to treat them more effectively than what we have done in the past then there would be far fewer people on drugs, in prison, or being hurt by dysfunctional families.

Until we do these families will all consider themselves normal because after all, they are only repeating what Mom did and she was a SAINT! Sadly then what is the sincere truth to the delusional or those in denial sometimes can be so far off base from reality that we feel as though we are being deliberately lied to when they think only they are telling the truth and it is we that are lieing.

I ask again–”Are Americans all insane”? Or have we just assigned our brains over to the ridiculous along with our common sense to the point we are no longer capable of thinking for ourselves? The lack of dedication, resources and commitment to the medical profession, granted to solving the problems, that go along with mental illness is a true tragedy in America. We need to find the compassion to help families that suffer from these diseases through research and science much in the same way we do for heart and cancer patients.

We Americans are better than what some families and the media are projecting us to be when it comes to both compassion and intelligence. We need to take back our brains and dust them off before they become like other muscles we do not use. We either need to use them or lose them.

Barton Exposes True Right-Wing Mentality

It is the nature of the Texan to take control and not to follow directions. Remember “Dubya’s” key word, “I’m the decider”? For Joe Barton to use the word “shakedown” to express what he thought Obama was doing to British Petroleum was no accident. Not anymore than Joe Wilson using the word Liar when expressing his views on Obama nor the message boards lighting up with the volunteers yelling mafia. Since the day that it looked like Obama could win the Presidency the right-wing conservative Republicans have made a conscious attempt to evoke the image of Obama being a Chicago thug and an outsider.

Yesterday’s action by Joe Barton was nothing more than exposure of the true belief of the right-wing conservative Republican mentality. They play the blame game and accuse Obama of the very thing that they themselves are guilty of having created. They bring in God and Country along with family values and expound virtue when their true role is as a protectionist. They no more care about American virtue nor practice it, than they care about the people who vote for them. Their real goal is to protect Corporate America at all cost to the people.

The white elephant in the room has always been Corporations that buy and pay for the Republican Party Protection. Make no mistakes about it. When the Republicans won taking the regulations off of Corporate America they shared in the greed as well. There was nothing greater to the damage done to American wealth of the middle class than what was done by deregulating American Banks and Corporations.

We as the public will be paying for that greed for decades and that is why there is such an effort being made to swing the perception of America over to the ideal that it is Obama who is the person that does not care while they fight tooth and nail to protect the interests of Corporate America. That was the true reason that no one Republican voted for the Healthcare bill and fought it “tooth and nail”.

The problem that the Republicans keep running into is that when “we the People’ elect the people who are protecting the corporations they sometimes are going to end up with elected officials that will expose their true belief system. Joe Barton did that yesterday. There is an old saying in, “water seeks its own level”. Simply put it means the corrupt will expose themselves. That is exactly what happened yesterday and is the reason the Republican Party was quick to put the pressure on Barton to apologize.

Once more I urge everyone to get acquainted with the voting records of their representatives both in their States and Washington DC. Be aware of the fact that there are right-wing conservatives amongst the members of the Democratic Party , as well, but not nearly to the extent that they are embedded in the Republican Party. With the internet it is rather easy to find the voting records and it eliminates any excuses to do so. Your vote does matter and will directly change the direction that the right-wing is trying to take in their dominance over the American workers. We owe it to the future generations to be able to share in the Democracy that we all have enjoyed.
