Barton Exposes True Right-Wing Mentality

It is the nature of the Texan to take control and not to follow directions. Remember “Dubya’s” key word, “I’m the decider”? For Joe Barton to use the word “shakedown” to express what he thought Obama was doing to British Petroleum was no accident. Not anymore than Joe Wilson using the word Liar when expressing his views on Obama nor the message boards lighting up with the volunteers yelling mafia. Since the day that it looked like Obama could win the Presidency the right-wing conservative Republicans have made a conscious attempt to evoke the image of Obama being a Chicago thug and an outsider.

Yesterday’s action by Joe Barton was nothing more than exposure of the true belief of the right-wing conservative Republican mentality. They play the blame game and accuse Obama of the very thing that they themselves are guilty of having created. They bring in God and Country along with family values and expound virtue when their true role is as a protectionist. They no more care about American virtue nor practice it, than they care about the people who vote for them. Their real goal is to protect Corporate America at all cost to the people.

The white elephant in the room has always been Corporations that buy and pay for the Republican Party Protection. Make no mistakes about it. When the Republicans won taking the regulations off of Corporate America they shared in the greed as well. There was nothing greater to the damage done to American wealth of the middle class than what was done by deregulating American Banks and Corporations.

We as the public will be paying for that greed for decades and that is why there is such an effort being made to swing the perception of America over to the ideal that it is Obama who is the person that does not care while they fight tooth and nail to protect the interests of Corporate America. That was the true reason that no one Republican voted for the Healthcare bill and fought it “tooth and nail”.

The problem that the Republicans keep running into is that when “we the People’ elect the people who are protecting the corporations they sometimes are going to end up with elected officials that will expose their true belief system. Joe Barton did that yesterday. There is an old saying in, “water seeks its own level”. Simply put it means the corrupt will expose themselves. That is exactly what happened yesterday and is the reason the Republican Party was quick to put the pressure on Barton to apologize.

Once more I urge everyone to get acquainted with the voting records of their representatives both in their States and Washington DC. Be aware of the fact that there are right-wing conservatives amongst the members of the Democratic Party , as well, but not nearly to the extent that they are embedded in the Republican Party. With the internet it is rather easy to find the voting records and it eliminates any excuses to do so. Your vote does matter and will directly change the direction that the right-wing is trying to take in their dominance over the American workers. We owe it to the future generations to be able to share in the Democracy that we all have enjoyed.

Now We Know Why They Like Stupid!

The Republican right-wing conservative Barton, from Texas, blasts Obama for a shake down of a poor innocent BP president and apologizes to him for the shake down he got from Obama. The messages that follow on the message boards are clearly from the stupid or those that have no ability left to register reality. The best of the stupid that I read was “It is Obama’s fault that the well blew as his energy policy would not let British Petroleum drill in shallow waters.”

These are the kinds of people who the Tea Party is getting elected. Is it any wonder that the right-wing wants the uneducated and the stupid and will do everything in their power to make home schools and their Religion only,not your’s, the way of life for all of us? In their way of thinking women belong at home and pregnant while the white males take back the jobs, women currently have, anyway.

The “no child left behind” program was without a doubt the most “dumbing up” of all programs to date on our children. Instead of bringing up the under-achievers amongst our students it pulled down the average to over-achievers and is still having the effect as the Democrats struggle to bring back the levels of education.

I have covered all the reasons in my posts as to why it is important for all of us to adapt a reason to educate ourselves in politics. The days when mom or grandma could use excuses like, “I vote like my husband does”, “I vote the way my daddy always did”, or “I just vote Party lines” are or should be way past being dead. We can’t simply sit back and think that surely no one would vote for someone who is that stupid anymore, because it is already happening.

Didn’t we just find out what a mess America can get into with just one stupid President and his greedy administration? We cannot afford to not learn from the mistakes of George “Dubya” and still survive another one. America deserves better as do we. If we are not a part of the solution then we most certainly will be part of the problem. That you can bank on.

Are We Americans All Insane!

Or is it the media that leads the insanity? At a time when the economists all agree the only thing that will bring back jobs is confidence of Corporate America in a turn around of the economy the media is busy talking about OBama in his fancy pants at the gulf. All of the cable news and networks main line of attack is how OBama does not show emotions enough. Would we really feel better seeing the man who leads the Free World looking like a bum and shedding tears?

Hasn’t the media spilled their guts for years about candidates as well as elected officials looking weak and unprofessional when they did shed a tear? Or have they all forgotten about the media circus around Walter Mondale, that they created? Have they all gone nuts! Are we just as bad? The latest polls show that 57% of the Country thinks that OBama is not doing enough about the oil crises in the gulf.

I do apologize to the 37% that does seem to understand that government has nothing to do with British Petroleum’s obvious neglect of the problem that arose and their callous disregard for safety of the people over their profit margin, and still have their sanity about them yet. I do not include you in this post. Why is it so much easier for the rest of you to always blame government and give Corporate a free ride even when they prove they do not care about “we the People” but only the bottom line of profits, time and time again? Corporate pays their political cronies in both special favors and donations and have hired people,lobbyists and media to lie for years and yet you believe them over government.

The facts are the Federal government cannot do anything more than what it has done because at this point British Petroleum cannot do more than what it is already doing to stop the flow of oil. All the best scientists have been asked for their help despite the media giving the politicians or other interests their 2 minute bite to state otherwise.

When it comes to making payments to the businesses BP will move sadly at their own speed. Obama has placed pressure on them to do more than they currently are doing. I’m certainly not defending BP but we can all bet they are getting false claims at least at the same rate they are getting legitimate claims because unfortunately tragedy draws these kinds of derelicts.

This is untested territory in that this is the worse disaster in the history of oil companies. No one in truth, knows what they are doing. B.P. has never been in the market to lose money. That is a fact that we can all count on. The longer this disaster goes on the more money British Petroleum will lose. Unless mankind learns the unknown through trial and error, many times, they do not have the answers. Life does not get solved in real life like it does on television. The last thing BP wants is for this disaster to continue. That is the greatest fact of all.

Six months after OBama got into office we had the nut cases running loose in America screaming that OBama hadn’t done enough to turn around the economy or to save jobs. We have the Tea Party screaming conspiracy with the government in every facet of our lives and others bound and determined to get rid of Social Security. Never mind that before the Bush administration drained the Social Security funds it was the only government program that was working.

Somehow despite all this media lead insanity foreclosures dropped 3% this month and unemployment has dropped to the level it was at in 2008 before OBama took office. I have spoken a lot of the need to show emotions on the family level but I assure you with the mess that Obama was left with if he did show emotions the press and the Republicans would be all over it. From day one they have wanted evidence to use against him that he was not yet experienced enough to be president. I haven’t a doubt, and neither should you, of what a Circus both would make if he looked or acted anything less than Presidential.

If OBama had gone in and demanded a show of regulations and standards having been met in the oil industry prior to the disaster the Republicans would have been all over that screaming how the government under OBama’s care was nothing more than a regulatory company whose only goal was to straggle free enterprise or something as equally prophetic.

What created the economical disaster that we are in seperate from the gulf crisis was that government took off all regulations that allowed the greedy to go wild. I assure you that any attempt made to put the regulations in place will only set off the Republicans as well as the nuts that scream conspiracy.

Now we have the media and the nut cases running around saying that OBama doesn’t emote enough or dresses too well or doesn’t care about us. He only cares about health care. Gee I wonder who he has had to fight tooth and nail to get this watered down package for if not for the people inspite of the nuts being the ones that have been heard.

At this point the non-vote of the Republicans clearly shows that they are against any regulation of the insurance companies because at present the healthcare that could get passed was more insurance reform than healthcare reform and even that has been vetoed by the Republicans.

First we scream that government is too much in our lives and then we scream that government doesn’t care and is not doing enough in our lives. I for one am grateful that we have a president through all the messes that he is up against has shown all of us how to keep our heads down and to keep cool when under attack. It is way pass time that we let him do his job and the media report what really matters. For instance how their pettiness caused OBama to cancel a trip to Asia and thereby upsetting the Asian Nations at a time that we need all the friends that we can get.

We Are Sorry Harriet Beecher Stowe

As hard as it is to believe when I was growing up, we were not only given false information in our history text books about the beginning of the Civil war it was actually a lie. It was always, possible, I guess, that we had a teacher that found a set of books that had her own views and sadly taught from them, but I sincerely doubt it. I grew up being told that the Civil War was set off as a result of a novel written by Harriet Beecher Stowe called, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

We were told that she so inflamed the hearts and minds of the American public that it lead to the start of the Civil War. That there were slavery owners such as she described in her book, ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’ but they were few and far apart. The majority of all slave owners treated their slaves with kindness and mercy. Man has been covering the tracks of their “Good Old Boy” predecessors in history for centuries and I am not surprised at all that a woman would be blamed for causing the war between the North and the South by man.

For those that still do not know the truth, The South blew up their own port in Charleston to signify to the North that they were seceding from the Union. They felt the North was charging them too high of tariffs to ship their cotton to Britain and that they themselves could do better and achieve more on their own if they seceded from the United States and became the Sovereign Southern States.

This and only this was the cause of the Civil war. The thought of slavery had never entered their minds much less crossed their lips at the beginning of the Civil War. When the North answered with a declaration of war brother fought brother for four years on American soil. After the first term of the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, the American people were tiring of the war and wanted it to end.

Simultaneously to this time only, several years after the Civil War began, did it become the concern of the Northern Industrial States to free the slaves, after reading the Harriet Beecher Stowe Book, ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’. So rather that being responsible for starting the war she was actually responsibile for jogging the moral conscience of mankind that lead to the freeing of the slaves.

Because “We the People” were getting upset about the war dragging on and there was a great deal of concern and fear, by the Republican Party Machine, that Abraham Lincoln would not be re-elected after the first term. The”powers that be” at the time, put pressure on as well as influenced Lincoln to inform the South to rejoin the United States or lose their slaves.

The South seemed to be oblivious as to just how badly they were out numbered and over-powered by the North and that they were losing so played the Industrial North’s bluff and as a result of their misconceptions of the war, they lost all rights to slave ownership. With the North having won the war the slaves were freed. The slaves were promised a mule and 40 acreas of land by the Republican party but instead once the war ended they were pretty much left to fend for themselves.

It was illegal to educate a slave as well as for them to own property until after the Civil war and this along with starvation added to an already unjust system that made their sacrfice to the Democracy of the United States of America, Major.

This is the true history of why the Civil War began and how it ended. I do believe that if Harriet Beecher Stowe along with the struggles of the African American people had been honestly told and properly recorded into history, as well as the promises kept them, instead of both being blamed, the outcome of history would have been totally different.

Certainly it would never have taken until 1971 before the admendment to the constitution for equal rights for both minorities and women to pass. So many years of tragedy and misuse of justice to the point of not existing in many cases would have been avoided. Perhaps if they were honored with the credit of esteemed citizens and the struggles that they endured then, bigotry as we know it, all these years later, still would not be a part of American politics?

Lies are not something new to American Democracy. The right people were not always honored nor did the slaves get their 40 acreas and a mule in form of an apology, at the very least, as there are still people that are in denial that these are the historical facts of how the Civil war began and ended. People in denial always have been and always will be delusional and nothing we can do as a society will change that as long as they insist they are right and we are wrong. The real tragedies of life come from two rights being denied,misused and trampled on over right and wrong being debated.

Hopefully, this election year ,we will realize that if history as told in our school text books,is and can be inaccurate,then there also is a very good chance that television,radio,and newsprint ads paid for by special interest groups, along with on-line jabber, are total lies. Clearly we will not believe these ads or the b.s. or use them as our basis for choosing our candidates unless we are partner to their lies.

The so called grassroots movement of the Tea Party that was said to be so broke that Sarah Palin was giving back her speaking fee just 4 months ago, is now spending and breaking all records in the numbers of dollars they spend to insure their candidates win the primaries. To date they have won them all. Their central theme is an absolute hatred towards OBama. Otherwise they are right-wing influenced but not yet definite about what they will be expecting of their candidates when it is time to collect. Their intent is being well guarded and protected from the general public.

Huge amounts of money to buy both candidates and elections, you can pretty much figure out for yourself, will almost always guarantee that these candidates will be asked to do special favors at a later date. Unless of course, you think someone will walk up to you tomorrow and give you thousands and thousands of dollars and want nothing in return.

Any group that makes no bones about their hate towards anyone is nothing more than politics as usual. Groups that are open about themselves and their causes are always more comforting to the voter than those that cloak themselves in mystery and hate towards others. So far no one really knows what their goals are other than hate and the right wing’s on going attempt to change the constitution to deny rights to women, gays, and minorities. They deny this of course but are less than honest about their own real cause.

I promise you that there has never been a group,ever, in history that gave a large amount of money to anyone and did not expect something back in return. We can no longer afford naivity or ignorance anymore than we can afford denial or excuses.

It will take everyone of our votes to stop any movement whose central theme is hate. People as a rule that do not have grounds to support a cause that “We the People” will also support, can only turn towards hate, until after they win the election, and then it is too late for the rest of us to prevent or stop it. It is time to nudge yourself out of the apathy that you have towards politics and get involved with what is really going on in your States, folks. History does indeed repeat itself!

Why Does The Truth Cause So Much Anger?

Yesterday’s secrets have been homogenized into today’s lies. To bring out the truth today of what has been deliberately omitted from history in an effort to turn yesterday into a time of greater perfection, we as a society have had to down play or simply deny it’s existence. How can the tele-evangelists convince us that there is a greater need than ever to send money to fight against the curse of satan if we know that the sexual morals of women in Society or the drug use today is no different from what it was yesterday or a 100 years ago?

How can families make heroes out of yesterday’s generations if they do not deny the abuse and prejudices that existed then? How can women deny that they are feminists if they are living what yesterday’s struggles produced? How can we as a society be taken back to a time of total injustice to both women and minorities by refusing to let our daughters know and understand what the real truth was? By sanitizing yesterday into some kind of perfection that has never existed we can make heroes out of everything from mom and dad to government to the Churches roles in history.

Recently I read a blog to loosely quote that said, “grandma and mom chose to be homemakers but I was more like my father and chose to work out of the home. I am not a feminist, feminism is dead.” I just shook my head wondering to what extent this person thought choices were ever a part of what women could make when it came to roles that they played. Clearly she did not know that she was living the results of feminism. If at anytime as a woman she ask for and gets a raise then she is acting out feminism even further.

If any of us look at the cartoon depictions of the suffragette all we see are women yielding brooms in bars hitting men over the head with elongated chins and warts. Feminism has never been anything more than making women understand that they had rights and choices and letting women know that they could choose. I promise you grandma and mom were raised believing that a women’s place was in the home period.

It was not a choice. When I moved to the country in 1972 women’s intelligence was still being judged on how well they could cook. If Your grandma or mom are younger than that then perhaps they did have a choice. Feminism has never denied a woman the right to be a home maker if they chose to be one over having a career. They fought so that we could determine our own use of brain, mind and body and believe me if you are making choices of your own over all you are a feminist.

By distorting the truth we can make Satan play a greater role and play on the fears of mankind and offer hope through the churches. We can make black sheep of the family out of the member that chooses to remember the truth so that they can stop the continuation of abuse in the next generations. We can make heroes out of common man to offer hope for the next generation but to bring out the secrets that shamed us yesterday the feeling runs that we are just hateful or spiteful. God help us if our point of doing so is to learn from our mistakes and there fore bring inprovements in the next generations lives.

People like myself that tell the truth that has been omitted from the history books then become known as parent, male, and church bashers. Is there no doubt in your mind that if we would all be made aware of yesterdays dirty little secrets that we could learn from them so that we advance as a Society? It is only through knowledge that we can understand the thinking that was behind the actions that we took and there by advance as a civilization in setting up guidelines to follow.

It saddens me that young women are being taught in home schools that a good woman is a good wife. They are not even being made aware of anything other than how to be a good wife. They are being kept ignorant of choices other than marriage. They are being indoctrinated into being soldiers of Christ and taught in militaristic Jesus camps starting at a very early age. These young girls are being restricted from any knowledge of the outside world.

Both television and computers , if they are in the home at all are being restricted. They are only able to watch shows like, TLC, “19 Kids and counting” that gives the false pretense that a woman that stays at home can shell out kids and afford to live in a large home and travel and do things as the money will be there and they can live happily ever after. Who do you think would be making that show popular if not the families that support the non-use of birth control?

Do you think if the population knew that they had never in their lives paid income taxes because their deductions were so high from having that many children that they never had to pay taxes that the rest of us pay, before the television show, they would be so admired? Do you think if it showed that families like that had to work at an early age to help with family finances that people would think”Oh what wonderful parents”? Do you think that if the show depicted, in the real world these children live on the mercy of others’ hand-me-downs and generosity that the show would be inspiring?

As long as the right-wing conservatives can distort truth and scream hate they can divert the attention of the good people of America, “We The People”, who would not normally tolerate such behavior, from noticing what is really going on. When we realize that states like Kansas have thrown out evolution from their science text books and instead replaced it with creationism and that 2.5 million children are being taught in home schools, shouldn’t that present a larger picture of concern?

Especially knowing that our future relies on the youth of tomorrow and many of these students are being taught by people that either dropped out of highschool or only have a highschool diploma. What do you think the lies being told by the supporters of Sarah Palin, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaughs, or O’Reilly and the Tea Party groups,against the “no good Liberals”, OBama, intelligence and education, is all about? Wasn’t it ignorance that got us into this mess? If the truth, when it is spoken by people, that have no dog in the race or are not receiving a dime to tell the truth, is going to make us mad then don’t we deserve being lied to? We need to understand what role we play in making lies popular by at least being honest to ourselves.

That is what the grassroots organizations is really about. I only point out awareness of it to all of us. I do not bash anyone as it is through truth we shall set ourselves free. With lies being paid for and treated as a commodity today in firms that do nothing but lie, more than ever we must let truth come out in an effort to stop these right wing fanatics that are trying to destroy Democracy as we know it. There are billions of dollars being spent to recruit these efforts and to prevent anyone in office that does not agree with them, from running through the use of intimidation, common sense should tell us that.

I know that I can’t be the only one that has noticed that in every state that it is the right-wing candidate that is coming from behind and winning. This only happened as a rarity until recently, folks. When it becomes a common happening as it is today, then it is time to get suspicious. Never has our vote ever been more important than what it is at this time. We women, once again, need to show the men that we can and will stop the liars, through our vote. No uninformed or paid for man, woman, or minister will ever again, have the right to take that vote from us. Please make it count for something at the polls, our daughter’s and granddaughter’s future depends on it.

So Does Either Party Hold the Truth?

The answer to that is a resounding, “NO”. If we can’t find the truth in our own families how are we going to find the truth in politics? I write heavily on the side of the Democratic party simply because there are so many lies being spread against them. I doubt that, although I share their philosophy as a whole, that all of the Democrats elected are even aware of what their party stands for. Just ask the people of Nebraska about Ben Nelson’s representation of the Democratic Party and support for George Bush and voting along Republican lines.

I would not be married for 40 years to the man I love, who is Republican, if I did not respect him. Clearly his arguments are as sound as mind are. I become concern when I read all the right wing’s rhetoric that ties itself to the Republican Party and then frustrated that the general well being of our Country is being lost behind their onslaught of lies. Certainly one has grounds to say the same for individual members of the Democratic party.

That is my concern then that it no longer appears to be Democrats vs. Republicans but if we believe the Fox Network or the Christian Broadcast Networks or the internet then the Democrats are nothing more than left wing Liberals out to destroy America. Lets face it our 8 trillion dollar debt was able to grow in silence although reputable networks showed the massive debt ticking away on their networks. Even when the Republicans were in full control and causing the majority spending that led to the mess that we are in today, no one, was speaking up. It was not until George Bush came front and center and announced that the economy was in worse shape than what anyone knew and they were working towards bailing out the automobile industry, that word began spreading.

I try to be a fair person, but my common sense began bouncing off the wall at how quickly it went from the Republicans adding to this massive debt into being OBama’s fault for the whole thing. If all we ever hear is one voice and that is of the right-wing we should be concern. What in God’s name then is it that makes us believe it as though it is gospel?

Let’s face it, to be a politician takes an unique personality, in the first place. To begin with it is the only job in America that the employee has to buy the job. The same way that massive groups of Americans are moved by the charismatic personalities in their own families as well as the Evangelicals and the Fundamentalists ,especially, but all Churches in general attract members as a result of charismatic personalities, so do we the people elect our politicans.

The unfortunate truth is that the most competent people amongst us are not driven my the ego of our politicians. They have to believe that they know better than all the rest of us, how to solve the ills of society, not much different than the leaders of our churches and the family member that in a sense holds all of hostage. The salary is not enough to pay for their expenses once they get to Washington and with an over blown ego to begin with doesn’t it make sense that they could be persuaded with both special interests and cash shortages that it will be just this one time?

In order to live comfortably then as a politician, most need to be wealthy before they get to Washington. Since when did people that are accustomed to having their butts kissed, their meals picked up and people hired to do the monotous work, ever know what living in America entailed? Just to attend functions necessary to be able to network in Washington, itself, will not pay for a poor mans livelyhood. To think that any politician no matter how much that they convince us otherwise, is not part of Washington, is ludicrous!

The minute they do win the election, which required the beginning of the lies, as their campaign slogans should all read the same, “I am here to bullshit my way through until I win your vote,” they are hit with the influence of Washington. Have no doubts about it, in order to be able to run and win the elections, due to handlers and special interests, unless they have paid for their own campaigns, they have already made promises to special interest of some type.

This is not just a phenominal thing that happens in Washington. It exists in State and City elections as well. I am not neither against Religion or Republicans as both play a necessary as well as major place in our lives. No one wants a one party system. That is why only one State in the Union, has a uni-cameral, and that is Nebraska. To be Democrat and to live in the State means the only way a Democrat’s vote is going to win is if the Republicans approve of the candidate. So far the only Democrat president that has won their approval has been L.B. Johnson. That means generations of families that vote Democrat have never won a presidential election. None of us want that.

I myself would never had been able to survive the 30 plus years of pain that I have lived with if I did not believe in God, and without religion, I would have never known of His generosity, to me. Ask anybody that deals with people on a regular basis, in death and they will all tell you the same thing, “On the death bed there are no atheist”. Having held the hands of people that are dieing I have been puzzled as to why they continue to live following the death rattles, and it seems to be Universal, that when a person dies they need to be able to let go Spiritually as well as physically.

I do believe though, just as governments, have no right to interfer in religion that religion has no right to tie itself or it’s followers to government. Just as the choice of Church is ours the candidate also should be ours to choose. Unless those of us that are still left with a monicum of common sense, speak up against the lies of the right wing,who else will? One thing that we can all agree with is no one family member, church or politican is the holder of the truth so why do you all speak as they are?

The Problem With Groups and Organizations

I have no problem with people meeting in groups and even organizing organizations from grassroots beginnings as the theory holds. The problem with most of them, over time, is that eventually the reason they formed, no longer becomes the priority of their cause in many cases. Somewhere along the line they pick up people of greed that see it as an opportunity to really cash in or they end up appealing to the zealots that are a six pack short when it comes to reality. The so called grassroots groups, as the Tea Party, describes itself to be is of a concern to me because of the hatred they display for Obama.

I remember the beginning roots of “Feed the Children.” It was an admirable organization as most of the dollar given was then put into actually feeding the children. As it gained in size, it became like setting loose a monster, in my opinion. to have rumors of corruption in Haiti ,somehow, does not surprise me. When I decided to contribute to it’s cause I was inundated with both calls and mailings, that in my case alone, was more about the organization than it was of the cause. I felt almost hounded in return for the donation I gave. I do not pick on it alone as there are many charitible organizations out there that I can say the same about. Special olympics comes to my mind immediately, as well. Eventually in order to stop all of the hours put into me to get me to contribute again, I simply had to go to annonymous donations.

Why don’t charitible groups understand that as long as they are spending so much money on hiring people to do the constant calling, some of them with arm twisting tactics, they are going to lose their base. Doesn’t it make sense to everybody, other than myself, that if so much is going into the pursuit of my donations, that it stands to reason that I will feel that instead of feeding the children the dollars are going into calls and mailings? Some of them have their hour long television shows and, I’m sorry, but I have to wonder how many dollars it takes to run the hour long program that could have fed the children.

I will always be more inclined to donate again to those causes that simply acknowledge the receipt of my donation and allow me to choose if I want to support them again. Obviously if I donated in the first place, there was something about them that appealed to me.

I would say that this scenario applies to almost any grassroots organizations and when they add political or religious reasonings to them or that is their purpose in the first place, that there will always be the danger of attracting both the corrupt and the zealots. The groups that set out to pray in front of planned parenthood buildings finds that it has a member in it’s core that goes beserk and kills the people in the clinic, I wonder if the group takes responsibility for it?

Wouldn’t most of us think that if we were showing up to enforce our belief of prayer and pro-life on another person that was simply there to get the same birth control pills that at least a couple of members in the group praying for the sinners inside are taking, that we are setting our own judgements up to back fire? Are they not at least partially guilty ,for the one amongst them, that goes beserk for their having stirred up the passion inside of the person that decides to take the cause in his/her own direction? Isn’t it like the snowball that starts at the top of the hill and by the time it emplodes on the bottom it is large enough to create damage to the person standing in it’s way?

That then is my concern of the grassroots that are forming in our Country. Will they all have a few of those that decide that they are not getting anywhere in the direction that they are taking peacefully and will someone wrestle away the control that turns the groups from simply being concern into being militant?

Anytime groups form in groups as controversial as religion and politics there is always reason to believe that the probability does exist. Especially when hate is at their roots even though most of them refuse to believe that their cause alone is capable of hate, in time history shows the likelyhood of hate coming front and center, in the embalanced. Instead of the military looking into Planned Parenthood records why in the world isn’t it looking into the groups outside that are clearly interested in forming out of the cause of their own black and white mentality?

Planned Parenthood is simply operating a service to those that feel the need to require it’s service. Why the military even needs to be investigating in the first place puzzles me but why wouldn’t they be more concern about the people that are enforcing their own beliefs on others than they would be about the people that are simply doing their jobs for the women that require their service?

Grassroots groups or any organizations that start out as charitible, political, and religious should always be suspect because of the passion they can and do stir up in people that are not capable of burying their own hate or acting on them as a “Ripe Plum to Pick” by those that operate in greed.

Right Wing Extremists–The Tea Party

On at least 3 interviews that I have watched when members of the Tea Party Convention have been asked directly, “Are You members of the Right Wing Extremists?” all of them have ignored the question and gone on to discuss something else. Any time anyone is asked a direct question, and they choose to ignore it, I think we all can safely surmise, it is because they do not want to answer the question with the truth, which is YES! Also research is my thing.

There are groups of extremists that are out to stop OBama,one of them even called themselves, “The Stop OBama Group”, before the elections and one of their intentions is to change our Constitution, to deny the rights of gays and minority groups as well as women’s rights. From what I have seen, this is just more of the same bunch.

Sarah Pallin is a guest speaker at the convention, and I have noticed her name shows up alot in these groups, that tend to be anti-Obama but pro-Pallin. Perhaps the election never ended for these groups or they are still angry they lost the election?

The American public, in many cases are unaware of the fact that there are PR organizations/firms in our Country, whose only role is to change the perception of the American people, by manufacturing facts rather than reporting facts. Sadly, they have the power to alter truth and to even start wars. Their only concern is to control the American publics’ perception of the truth and to sway them to support their causes.

They exaggerate for instance, the lack of foundation, that the leftists are just steps away from taking God from our lives, Minorities are threatening to take control of our Country, OBama’s only interests is in the wealthy and Wall Street, and the Democrats are out to bankrupt our Country, despite the fact that the Republicans were saying that the Government needed to take over the banks and had already had a huge start at bankrupting America. They pretend that they are some grassroot movement, who only concern is to protect Democracy for the masses. They hide behind their pro-life doctrine. They are heavily financed by the right wing movement.

We are all aware of the Acorn movements and groups of the extreme left but few, if any of us, are aware of the building number of young children being sent to camps to literally be brainwashed in the movements of the Right wing, religious right, and conservative right. to be Conservative today, no longer pertains to fiscal responsibility, but rather to religion.

Since we as, a Nation are quick to point out the corruption of politics and even take blame, to a certain level, of our own involvement , it is sad that we are all afraid to attack the corruption that is growing in the Churches of our Country. To do so only, gives these groups the ammunition that they need, to say, “See there go those leftists out to destroy our religious freedoms”; “Those are the people that we are talking about, that are taking away our rights!” or “Now do you believe us?”

Although it is a clear violation, of the Constitution, for Churches to promote one party over another or one candidate over another from the pulpits of their Church, this law is being broken and justified by Churches across America. Even though, I have never heard of a Church that doesn’t try to take a HUGE tax deduction and of any that don’t accept it, All they need to say, and often do, is when Government abuses their authority, to govern by taking away our right to practice religion,(despite no basis of fact) then we all have a moral obligation, to break Man’s law over God’s law, and the masses accept their ministers, lay members, and priests, as if Christ, Himself is speaking to them. Also they seem to hold the power to condemn us all to hell, in the minds of many, if we question their motives or hypocrisy. Not to mention, many fear, excommunication from the Churches that we have been attending to find peace, for generations. They often tell their members that if they do not actively seek to stop abortion, by voting Republican, they are as quilty of sin,as the people having abortions, are.

If any of us think that our Churches are incapable of making errors or being corrupt (remember Jim and Tammy Faye, the pedophile priests that didn’t see a day of jail time, the palaces and lifestyles of tele-evangelists who are claiming to take money from the rich to give to the poor, even though the poor donate more than the wealthy, hundreds of ministers having affairs, (some even gay?) then we are ALL in trouble. If we doubt that the American Churches are the largest land holders in our Nation and own some of the Largest Corporations in our Country, then we are All in trouble, If we believe that Democracy as well as “we the people”, would be better protected by Mother Church, then take a look at the misery of the Middle East, where their governments are ran by religion, and ask yourselves, is that what we want for this Grand Nation?

What has always made our Nation return to it’s grassroots and made our Freedom stronger, has always been the Constitution that allows freedom to all without outside or religious interferance. This isn’t the first time in history that Americans have worried about whether, “we as a Nation, conceived under Liberty, dedicated to the proposition that all mankind, is created equal, can long endure.”

We always rebound from tragedy to ,Honor, because, we have not betrayed the Founders of this Great Nation by changing the Constitution that they founded. By remaining as it has for generations, it has proven time and time again, that our fore fathers perceived the dangers we as a Nation could suffer.

Please Americans, wake up before the terrorists amongst us, destroy the very Democracy that makes All of us Great!.
