In the beginning of mankind it was necessary for us to form together in a herd just as it is for animals to form herds and to gather together in flocks for survival.  A group of people or a tribe could defend against danger or against predators more effectively if they maintained a large group or herd.

They could forage together more effectively for roots, grains and berries, hunting that provided the meat, and gather together for warmth. Absolutely everything was shared by the group with a leader chosen by them to lead and he,because rarely was a woman trusted as a leader, was entitled pretty much  to anything he felt entitled to, as long as he kept the needs of the people first. He would always be served first before the group and any gem stones, feathers,or tools made were presented to him first before the others could share the spoils.  Just as the animal world has a hierarchy so did mankind.

In the animal world the male fights for the position against the weaker and the same was often true in the early days of mankind until after mankind advanced enough to the point that the title of leader was then passed down to the first borned son, generation after generation. Long before there was a government, long before there were Democracies, long before politics and political Parties, long before there was a Republican Party who referred to working together and picking a just leader of the people, who made sure the people were provided for,Socialism; mankind depended on a just and fair leader of the people. The people in return rewarded their leaders, so to declare as Mitt Romney did that the people were jealous of his wealth, made as much sense as too many other ridiculous statements he made in his campaign. In a civilized World today we still need leaders who care as much for the needs of the people as they did then, even though we no longer need to gather together in herds for our survival.

The protests that we often see in the Streets of a free Nation only arise because the people feel that they are being disenfranchised or starved to death by leadership.  The fact that the Republican Party with the help of the media, such as Fox News, only scoffed at the Occupy movement moving across America to stop the greed of the 1% over the needs of the 99%, has a great deal to do with why the Republican Party lost the election this year.  They had become so accustomed to ignoring the needs of the workers that they apparently felt they could run any candidate that they wanted to that would bend to the wishes of the far right and we the poor and middle class would succumb to their wishes because they used the herd mentality against their followers by whipping them into a feeding frenzy against President Obama.

So convinced were they that the deck was stacked in their favor to win that even when they lost Paul Ryan said,”We only lost because of the turn out in the Urban area” while denying they lost 40% of the over 55 vote, the youth vote, the women’s vote in the suburban areas, the gay vote, the Asian vote, the Hispanic vote, the Jewish vote, as well as the agriculture and blue-collar vote in States like New Hampshire,Iowa,Colorado, and Ohio as well.  They even lost the Catholic vote as well as both Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney lost their own home States, and yet in their denial, they are still trying to claim they ran a good campaign.

None of us are so stupid that we do not realize that when Republicans like Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney speak of the Urban vote they are talking about the poor and the African-American vote and when they insult one of us they insult all of us.  We know that first and foremost, we all are Americans together, and the Republicans are not granted leadership unless the American majority, made up of all American minorities, say they are our choice.

They cannot divide us even while they claim that our President is responsible for doing so. When Mitt Romney in his continued arrogance claimed they only lost because of the gifts (Obama care) given to those in the Urban area and free birth control to the young women, by President Obama, he only added more insults to the already bruised majority of us combined, who voted against the arrogance of the Republican Party as much as we voted in favor of the man we felt could better care for all of the American people.

If the GOP continues to refuse to accept the fact that they cannot run a bunch of clowns who are not interested in the people but instead pretend they are by spending billions of dollars and making voting against those who will not vote for them,as miserable as possible, they will continue to lose.  The middle class has lost too much income while the wealth of the wealthy has grown, for to long for the Republican Party to think they can continue to disenfranchise us as a group.

Modern mankind, often led by women who are also the majority voters, will not be fooled into subjection by their leaders, on a pact of lies and  billions of dollars. Adding conservative women to your party that are led by the beliefs of the far right will not fool those of us who do know that we are as equal as anyone else in America. The GOP’s problem runs much deeper than just winning back the Latino/Hispanic voters.  As Haley Barbour said,”The GOP needs to find a good Proctologist”, or as I say,” they need to get their heads out of their b….s long enough to understand they lost overwhelmingly,” and we both mean the same thing.  Republicans lost this election because they offered nothing different from what we have been paying for the last decade and will be paying for  generations to come,  and because we are not a right-wing Nation who denies equality to its people.

The blue-collar workers cannot be forced into giving up their Unions in favor for less pay and longer hours under the Republican control in our States, nor can they continue to fire teachers, policemen, and firemen and then expect our votes.  They may have won 53% of the white vote but basically that is about all they won and with those numbers they lost. It is no one’s fault but their own so it is time they quit making ugly excuses instead.  It is time that men like John McCain accepts that he lost in 2008 and give his along with the bigots like John Sununu, in the Republican Party, bitterness from his and their lost, a rest.

If the GOP wants to continue with their insistence that women are denied the right of equality to their own bodies while they try to win back the Latino/Hispanic vote while dismissing the rest of the minorities in America, they are going to continue to lose because just as the leadership in early mankind needed to be ever cognizant of the needs of the members in the herd,or be threatened by the uprise of the herd, today’s leadership needs to be aware of the fact that the needs of the people are fair and just as well.

We may be modern mankind with all of our own flaws but we still recognize a group of Bullshippers when we see and hear them.  You lost Republicans so lick your wounds and start rebuilding a Party that reflects the needs of the people over your own greed and run legitimate candidates with legitimate concerns for the people of all races, genders, gender orientations, and religious beliefs, over the lobbyists and the bigots, and you will again win over the vote of some of the people who do accept the needs of capitalism to grow as well.

Capitalism cannot continue to stockpile trillions while the workers go without food and homes and then turn around and  expect the workers to vote for the Republican Party who protects Wall Street at the expense of the people.  You lost, accept it, and get to work rebuilding a respectable Party over the disaster based in greed that you now own.  You fooled no one but a few but mainly yourselves.  The truth hurts sometimes but only when we own it can we make necessary improvements towards change in ourselves.  No one doubts that the GOP needs to tear down their structure and rebuild except those of you who march to the drum of  Carl Rove,Grover Norquist, the Tea Party, and the far right, still.

Good Luck and get to work adding moderates to your Party because the angry old white men are a dying breed and it is time you all learn to accept it. We do want to see two healthy political parties again, but it must be based on the needs of the people and have some truth in what it tells the people as well as the needs of capitalism, with a genuine leader at its helm.  We the voters are not going away.  Once burnt twice learned.  We do not need another Bush as in Jeb Bush, either. We are sincere in our wishes to see the Republican Party and their platform rebuilt on reality and on a new foundation. Once we do, and are convinced the people matter, then some of the voters will return to the GOP.

This will be my final political post, thank Goodness!  After having written on the truth of the far right and the Tea Party and their negative effects on the Republican Party and the cynicism across America that they lap up, with their below par candidates for two years, I welcome the end of writing anymore on the subject of politics.

My husband will be retiring at the end of the year and we hope to travel.  I welcome and look forward to being out of the loop on the political scene and playing in the sunshine.  Since this is my last political post and I have watched Americans throw away 6 Billion dollars on campaigns of lies, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.  The sad thing is that the majority of the large donors spent it to buy their candidate of choice.  I applaud those who spent in an effort to stop the corrupt from taking office.

I am afraid that those who want a prostitute to perform in their favor in their politicians do so, to get their own greed fulfilled and are the largest contributors.  It would be nice to think the Republican Party itself would be spending those dollars instead to throw the bums out.  Men such as Sam Adelson and the Koch Brothers in the Republican Party, are stealing the votes from American citizens who are either to flip-flop themselves to make decisions or too bored to care. The sad thing is when the greed is coming from the Christian ministries who are more business driven than Christ driven and give of the money collected for the poor, in their efforts to sway the elections in their own Churches.

Unless and until men like Carl Rove and Grover Norquist are shaken loose from the strong hold or the bully pulpit of the Republican Party the Republican Party will continue to prostitute themselves for the Tea Party and the ridiculous right who will and are destroying Democracy in America. This Tea Party driven Party will not even stand for a Republican saying “Hi” to a Democrat when they meet in the hall without threatening them on their re-election support.  Both parties use to break early for a drink together and now they cannot even acknowledge they know each other due to this insane hatred driven by the Tea Party.

The Republicans instead blame President Obama for not working with them when they filibustered more than anytime in our history against President Obama’s agenda and they met ten days after he was signed into office where all Republicans were forced to sign a pledge making President Obama a one term President, at their CPAC retreat. Those who refused to sign the pledge along with  Senator Dick Lugar of Indiana, were ran out of the Republican Party by the Tea Party in the primaries because he had the audacity to say,”We need to work together on a healthcare program.”  The ironic part is that the Democrats never ran against Senator Lugar all these years because he was respected by both sides of the aisle before the Tea Party entered the fray on the lie of paying down the deficit.  The good news is the Democrat is leading in the Senate race in Indiana against the Tea Party selected Republican who defeated Senator Lugar, and for the first time in 30 plus years, a Democrat is  expected to win the Senate seat the Tea Party forced Senator Lugar to leave.

We keep hearing from the media that all of this money being spent is necessary in order to win over the Independent vote. We see the polls changing every time they are taken and I don’t know about the rest of Americans, but  this election smells like rotten eggs.  It has been the biggest disgrace ever enacted on the American public, in all the years that I have been following politics.  These corrupt politicians and the people who back them have destroyed any decency left in the election system in America.  The voter suppression belongs in a third world Country governed by a dictatorship and certainly not in America! Instead the “true to the vote group” which is a self-appointed watch dog group of the Tea Party are claiming voter fraud where none exists and intimating voters at the polls who would vote for President Obama in States ran by Tea Party and Republican Governors. This same group have mailed out misleading information confusing the minority voters with erroneous information.

Sure politics have always had a stretching of the truth and we always needed to read between the lines.  In the 1950′s Democrat candidate Adlai Stevenson said to the Republican majority,”If you quit lying about us we will quit telling the truth about you.”The biggest difference is that we saw two men who would stand on the stage of their Parties and accept their Party’s election because they were driven to help the American people over a need to fill their own pockets.  We could believe that they were men of honor until Richard Nixon exposed them for the fraud that they were.  Even so they did not promote or refuse to stop the hate and lies that we have seen this year in candidate Romney, and his campaign contributors.   May we never see it again!

The political season use to be fun before the venom and mean spirited of the Tea Party and the far right won the majority control of the Republican Party and they along with their hate groups entered the picture. It is impossible to have an honest debate with them today because they can only come back with the lies and half-truths that have been programmed into them.  They do not have an original or independent thought or reasoning for their explanation or debate when we do try to press them into doing so. We use to be able to join together and have parties with red, white, and blue banners hung for decorations and discuss our differences and our own reasoning without name calling.  Elections were a time of celebration with both Parties being represented and now they are just a screaming match or those who judge the harshest get up and leave in a huff.

Anyone who believes the accuracy of the polls taking place this year must be in that undecided column that put the blame on Independents. Polls simply do not swing as much or as frequently as the polls have swung this year unless the majority of American pollsters are schizophrenic and the majority of us know better than to believe that they have lost touch, to that degree with reality, yet. Certainly the polls have not shown the conviction of the Americans voters. We may be getting close to a Nation of shallow voters but we are not quite there yet.  The media, depending on their own choice of candidates, just kept changing to the polls they preferred that were closer to the truth they wanted to hear, I suspect is closer to the truth.

I maintain many Independents are not Independent but instead uninterested in a two-party system or politics in general, looking for an utopia that doesn’t exist on earth or in our lives, has special interests of their own they want promoted over the view of the majority, or are ashamed to have their name tied to the far right of the Republican Party but in truth will either not vote or will vote Republican once they walk in the booth anyway.  They just don’t want their friends to know.

It works the same way with the Independents who use to call themselves Democrat but the liberals have been so maligned by the Christian community, in which they are a member of, that they fear to stand up for their beliefs that are opposite of their religious community. They too will vote Democrat when they enter the booths to vote. The fastest way to get attention is America is to tell the politicians or your friends that you are undecided or Independent. Neither will stop trying to convert you to their cause if you do.  I can’t imagine why anyone would tell anyone that they were either unless they do love the attention.

True Independents saw absolutely nothing this year that they would vote for because it is a sin to discuss Science and environment in the Republican Party today. Because the Liberals are accused of trying to be Jesus Christ and dividing the Red Sea or mocked when they talk about things like global warming that threatens the coast of our Great Nation, they play it safe and say nothing.

This election year was a disgrace to all of us, who do believe in the political system and like a good healthy debate with the opposition, but instead the waters were poisoned by both hate and lies by the far right and the media that feeds into it.  We heard absolutely nothing on details from Mitt Romney, other than, “I will not answer that before the election,I’ll have to check on that and get back to you on that, or No I will not show you my taxes.”

Anyone who would vote for a candidate, who would represent himself as Mitt Romney has, is voting strictly because they believe all the lies and hate that have been spread across America by the Tea Party and the people who would call themselves Christian or the Far right; or they would vote for Romney’s dog, as long as it was Republican.

These American citizens will continue until their deathbeds to either vote out of ignorance for what the Republican Party today represents, or against their own best interests.  Too many think that as a Nation we pay too much out in welfare for the poor and it is socialism to do so.  The real truth is: far more money goes out in welfare to the wealthy, oil companies, and corporations and is protected by the Republican Party.

I have yet to meet the person who did not give back for the Blessings they received ever become a true success in life.  Many of them if they do gain wealth, find that they are alone in life, without any real friends. Even their own children stand around with their hands out.  Those who hold the attitude of resentment against the less fortunate, in my experience, almost always fail in life. The true joy in life comes from giving back and making a difference in someone else’s life, without them knowing we did.

For the Romney campaign to tolerate an ad stating American generosity is supporting socialism because many of us enjoy giving,in my estimation is inexcusable. The more generous we are to others the more happiness and contentment we gain for ourselves.  This is un-imaginable to the selfish who collects things and people for their own needs and pleasure, so they hide behind the lie of Socialism instead. Obviously a self-professed Billionaire who made his money in one generation did not experience socialism in America so to profess his concern for the same lies is just more of the disgrace that was allowed to run by the Romney campaign. It is the same kind of campaign ad that was offered to the John McCain campaign and refused by him for being in poor taste.

Our economy is coming back thanks to the tireless efforts of President Barack Obama and these American citizens would rather see Mitt Romney get the credit for it while President Obama takes the blame for the Republican greed that caused the mess he inherited.  Throughout history messes made by Republicans and paid for by the middle class have been cleaned up along with budgets balanced  by Democrat Presidents. It is a total misconception that Democrats spend money and Republicans balance budgets.

Who in their right mind, who lives on the planet earth, would elect a President, like Mitt Romney, who refused to come clean with the people of his own Party and those who would vote for him? He has only shared what he feels about us, the 47% ,with the “fat Cats” whose taxes he has promised to decrease by 5 trillion more dollars and have it added to our deficit while he lies to his own constituency. It befuddles the mind and reasoning of common sense. I repeat:  May we never see another election year like the one we have seen this year! Please Vote on Tues. if you do not have an opportunity to vote sooner.  We need to get rid of the spread of hate in America before it consumes yet more American minds and drives reality and common sense out of our elections, entirely. Vote the bums out!

By outspending his fellow Republicans by 10 to 2 or more, Mitt Romney, has won the support of Republican Party. All I can say to the Republican elite is,”Are you nuts?” or “Is that the best that the Republicans can do?” Mitt was a candidate who could not even gain in the double digits just 4 years ago, because quite frankly, no one wanted him then either. It leads me to question just how arrogant has the Republican Party become?

Did they think anyone could win against President OBama? Did they think they were able to buy the elections in 2010 with the lies being told by the Tea Party and we would all buy into it again? Were they going to send in their trojan horse in the name of Romney and convince us that a Hatchet man for Baine and Company would do an honorable job of getting unemployment down after he laid off all of the people slated for a pension plan?

Do they think they have so sucessfully won over the middle class by doing nothing but filing law suits against the OBama Administration to undo his efforts to try to help the middle class, and it left us wanting more of the Republicans? Did they think anyone could beat OBama and Mitt will be a good stick man to do their bidding because he changes direction like most people change underwear? Or are they so desperate to go back to what the Bush Administration was not able to complete that they needed a man so desperate to gain the White House he would be perfect to blame for all the lay offs ahead? After all that is the experience of Mitt. He made the State of Massachusetts one of the highest for lay-offs while Govenor as well.

Whatever the reason, Mitt Romney, is their new front man and I just shake my head and have to ask,”Who do they think will support or vote for Mitt Romney, other than the white collar male worker who will ultimately find that they will get the pink slip since it is their benefits and pension plan that will be the first to be eliminated? The Bush Administration did not quite get there with their 780,000 people laid off the last month of his Presidency so they need to complete their overhaul in order to save money for the 1% who do not want to be burdened by what they feel are unecessary pensions and benefit packages. Not to worry, once they have your vote, you will be able to get a $10.00 an hour job at Staples. Mitt likes to fire people, remember?

If there are any blue collar workers left of the male persuasion, naive enough to support any Republican candidate then it is because they are working for themselves or the family business and have done well with the migratory labor who work much cheaper and do not need to be paid a fair days wage. Others have been successful by paying a fair wage and as a result have fallen into the habit of always voting Republican. All the guys he drinks beer with or entertains are Republicans and they have their blue color stories on people of different races, religions and gender. They either hate them or are indifferent about them but they enjoy a good joke or two aimed against them. Unlike women many of these Republicans will not vote as they would prefer to complain about President OBama than vote for a candidate that cannot relate to them, even if they are Republican.

Finally we have people whose Father always voted Republican who believe every lie they have ever heard against President OBama because the Republicans do not lie to them,in their minds. After all they have been told by Rush Limbaugh,Christian Broadcasting,Sarah Palin and Bill O’Reilly of Fox News, along with the Tea Party and Republicans that President OBama is a heathen and a threat to the American people. These people cannot wait to get him out of office, because their ministers have riled them up enough to believe every word they have been told. There still are those left who do not know the Republican Party is no longer the same Party it was when their Dad was alive nor do they care. They will vote Republican anyway.

The real lack of interest in Mitt Romney that explains the lack of enthusiasm beyond his own record and personality, is that the zealots who really do hate President OBama do not like Mitt Romney any better. They will vote for him but they will not be happy about it.

If the Power that be, thinks that the above people will be enough for them to get over the top and win the election in November then we all must ask ourselves just what kind of lies or dirty tricks do they have in mind, that they think will win them this election?

I didn’t mention minorities, women, and the majority of the middle class workers in the above analogy because quite frankly the majority of all of us will not believe a word that the Republicans do utter anymore than my generation did Richard Nixon after the wire tap of Watergate. The “do nothing” Republican record speaks for itself and although this is pure speculation on my part, I am still amazed that the Republicans would think that they would not need to defend their own record of fighting President OBama everytime he tried to improve the well being of the middle class.

Personally, “it blows me away”, that the Republican leadership is that out to lunch or that arrogant, that they felt that the Bush record was now far enough behind them and they did not take into consideration their own miserable record of the last four years. Has the Republican Party now reached the point that any millionaire or billionaire can buy the Republican election or are they simply that out of touch with the majority of Americans? I’ll let you answer that question for yourselves at the election polls in November.

Good morning all of you Republicans across America. Allow me to introduce myself: I am a Middle class woman of the white persuasion who will be retiring at the end of this year. I have lived according to the laws of both mankind and God, and as near to the guidelines of morality as anyone does. I’ve made a few mistakes but not so many that I have had to escape behind denial or cannot recognize a lie when I hear it or smell it. I think it safe to say, I speak for the majority of Americans of the middle class, regardles of race, creed or color.

Transference worked for Carl Rove when George W. Bush ran against Gore but it did open our eyes as to the corruption in the appointed Justice Dept. The National Rifle Association made a damn fool of themselves while attacking Barack OBama with lies and using scare tactics, this week as well. Tranference and lies worked for a decade to cover the lack of military involvement of George W. Bush when defaming the record of a military hero, John Kerry. It will not work against the American voters again each time Mitt Romney opens his mouth to blame President OBama for his own weaknesses while giving himself credit for President OBama’s strengths.

Allow me to explain. When Mitt told the Associate Press that Barack OBama was out of touch he was actually speaking about his own blunders;remember his $10,000.00 bet,his friendships with people who own Nascar drivers,His $340,000.00 speakers fee not being very much at all, his questionable joke about his Dad laying off workers in Detroit and moving them to Wisconsin, well you know what I mean. Didn’t we all have to laugh about the remark of President OBama being a bully? Most of us were upset for two years because he allowed the Republicans to bully him. The fact that Barack has always stood for the middleclass does not make him a flip flopper as Mitt Romeny, Mr. Etch-a-Sketch, claims him to be.

He told the crowd that Presdent OBama was hiding his intentionss as to what his second term would look like until after he won. Huh? Barack OBama tackled the most difficult and unpopular thing first when even his own Party questioned the wisdom because “We the People” told him in 2008 that healthcare was our number one issue. Barack OBama has never hidden his agenda from or for the middle class.

It is Mitt Romney who has said, and I quote,”I will tell people which government offices I will close down after I am elected,” although we do know he campaigned to shut down the office of education when he ran against Ted Kennedy. He has also said he will decide what he will do about birth control and women’s health issues after he is elected. We do know though that as a Bishop in his Church that bans birth control outright, which direction he will most likely take, now that he is no longer in a Liberal State such as Massachusetts.

The Republicans need to give myself and all American middle class people, since we rank 72% of all of the American population at least enough credit to know and understand that no matter how much money they and the Tea Party pump into their campaigns, four things will remain very clear in the minds of the middle class regardless of the amount of time they think they have to clean up Mitt Romney after the fiasco of their primaries. I present the following for all of us:

1. The old Carl Rove tactics of transference where the Republicans and Tea Party sponsored candidates blame the opposition for their own mistakes and weaknesses while lying and giving themselves unearned credit for the accomplishments of others, will no longer float this election year.
2. Mitt Romney cannot spend a week in Wisconsin campaigning with Ryan and then deny that the Republicans plan on ending medicare and replacing it with the Ryan Plan that with cost much more while giving retirees much less in healthcare, isn’t his plan if elected.
3.The middleclass will not soon forget that “the right to work” laws give Republicans legal recourse to bust contracts made in good faith with the middleclass workers and to lay us off at their discression regardless of the previous laws that were in place, and Mitt has campaigned in favor of this law.
4. The idea, the Republicans are promoting once Mitt wins the primary election of his own party is women will forget about Mitt saying he would close down Planned Parenthood and then blame Rick Santorum for Mitt’s own views against birth control will never fly.

You see Republicans, as a woman and a person of the middleclass, I know you do not understand a thing about us because if you did you would realize that we are the most sophisticated of voters in America. We have had to carry the weight of the 1% on our shoulders for too long. We do not buy into your “trickle down economics” any longer. Unlike you we were willing to give you enough rope to hang yourselves to see if it would work. Consider yourself hung and out of touch.

I speak for all women when I say, you really have proven that you do not know nor do you want to understand women because if you did you would all understand, your brain washed conservative feminists as well, “Women never Forget!”

No matter how you try to clean up the image of the Republican Party and Mitt Romney, even if he does ask a Conservative Feminist to run on the ticket with him, we will all remember how Mitt Romney campaigned on the right to work laws, the Ryan Plan and how his religious convictions as well as his political obligations demand that the rights of women be denied to their own health issues, even though women pay far more into Insurance Companies that anyone else in the Nation.

My message then to all Republicans, regardless of gender, If you think Mitt can win then it is time to go back to the etch-a-sketch and remake another Mitt Romney or continue trying to make it impossible for people to vote at the polls. I guess its time I close this as I am now trying to give advice to the experts at their own game. I wish my readers a very Happy Easter/Passover and if you are traveling a safe trip. God Bless all of us regardless of race, creed, gender, or political party this Holiday weekend.

Just reporting on the facts of the Republican Primary run has left me feeling like Rush Limbaugh, but instead of the liberal hate campaign, I have reported on the Republican hate campaign that actually is going on.

Today I want to get back on a more practical message of a more positive note and that is whether we are Republican,Independent or Democrat we all can look at this as an election year that offers hope for all of us.

It has been many years since the libertarian Party has been able to offer the hope that it does to those who support Rod Paul. The Republicans are convinced that they can win against OBama and the Democrats are convinced OBama can beat either Romney or Gingrich.

For a while anyway, as Americans, we are all hopeful that our candidate can and will win. That is the kind of Democracy that makes America great. It refreshes the ideology of those who call themselves grassroots, although they are battling which candidate if any they can support, it does bring hope to all of us who either want to believe as we always have, or that God expects us to bring morality to law, or those of us who want to remain the same as we believe that given another four years, we will see a robust economy with cuts made to balance the budget and bring down the deficit, as the facts show it is currently in the plans. Whatever argument or persuasion we are this year, it appears to be offering hope to all of us.

That sadly will fade when we get back to the problem once the elections are decided, and find a Congress that refuses to budge off of the same old same old of business as usual. Too often in our desire to vote in or re-elect the President, we have over looked the fact or mistaken the idea that if we vote in a Democrat President then we will need a Republican Senate or Congress or vise versa. It is when we realistically look at the candidate that represents us the most and the party that will work with the President we choose,”We the People” can break the dead lock in both Congress and the Senate.

We too often think that the system in Washington is broken instead of looking at ourselves as to why it isn’t working. When the Republican Party is made up of moderates, conservatives, and Tea Party sponsored members, who all have different ideologies and refuse to budge on their own personal beliefs, and then the Republican Party blames Democrat leadership for not supporting them, how in the World can anyone realistically think a Democrat of any kind can solve the problem and the lack of cohesiveness that the Republican Party itself cannot mend or fix?

If the Republican people, themselves, do not agree to either elect a moderate,or a conservative, or a Tea Party sponsored majority so that the dead lock in their own Party stops, instead of concentrating only on getting rid of OBama, who quite frankly is not the problem with the Republican Party today, then Congress or the Senate, who do not have a majority group, will remain as dead locked as usual in the Republican Party, itself.

The same nastiness and negativity that we see going on amongst the candidates in the Florida race. is identical to what is going on in the Republican Party today, and yet both the media and the Republicans, themselves, are saying it is good that they are discussing this early and getting it out-of-the-way before the Democrats pounce on it, or we have 10 long months left before the election. No one seems to want to acknowledge that this behavior is normal in the Republican Party today or have any desire to stop it or at least try to mend it or fix it in their own party. As long as they deny it, the attitude of blocking all decisions made will continue amongst them, and they will continue stalemating the Congress and Senate regardless who is elected.

Obviously, if we are Republican,Independent,or Democrat and dealing with reality, over hate and denial, we almost have to be able to understand that with Mitt Romney trying to be a conservative because apparently being a moderate seems to be related too much to George Bush but a Conservative is related to Ronald Reagan, the discord will continue in the Republican Party.

Right now, if any of us have ever tried to put three little girls together for a play time and watched how two side against the other, then we have a pretty good idea of why the Republican Party cannot agree within its own membership.

By viewing the larger picture, If President OBama is finally going to have a Congress and Senate who will respect his leadership then we must elect people who will work with him instead of against him.

Until we all acknowledge, the media included, that currently the Republican Party cannot get along within its own Party, the only way that the deadlock in Congress and the Senate will be broken, is when the Republican Party figures out for itself if the GOP will become Tea Party sponsored ideology, Conservative in their ideology, or remain in the moderate ideology, no one will be able to lead, because no one in their Party is willing to compromise. Not even Ronald Reagan, whose name they like to invoke and who did raise taxes, would be able to break this divide.

It is time to get practical and to accept the reality of why the system does appear to be broken and why, instead of getting off on the ridiculous. The truth is, until the Republican Party can and does repair its own broken membership, deadlock will remain.

The only Party that can agree and get things done currently, is the Democrats. The liberals and centrist in the Party may not always agree but at least they can compromise without the third member of the Tea Party freezing off every decision they try to make,or the conservatives refusing to raise taxes while the moderates think they are the spokes people for the Party, and are too arrogant to listen.

While they demand that all members must agree on no more taxes, no more payments on birth control or on abortion to the poor, even in cases of unreported incest, rape, or sex slavery,if they really do want to cut the deficit or balance a budget, or if all Republicans must support the Ryan plan to eliminate Social Security and Medicare, as we know it, and no one wants to hear what “We the People” want, they must decide for themselves if they are with the middle class or against the middle class. Its time to get practical and to elect members who will compromise, while the Republicans try to decide just what it is the GOP does want their own Party to represent.Hopefully they will decide that at their own convention later this year.

When they do then we will all be able to hope again in the Democracy that has always made us and kept us strong. Its time to get both realistic and practical with our votes so that we get something done in Washington again, by voting for Barack Obama, who understands us and is working for us. “We the People” need to take back our rights to have the President we elect be respected by those, who we also elect, and will work with him instead of against him.

It was really inspiring for me to watch the State of the Union Address and hear President OBama, verbalize exactly what it is that the Americans expect of their politicians, and to offer hope to Americans who have suffered long enough.

After one Debate after the next debate of the Republican candidates doing nothing but bashing each other and then going on the attack on everything President OBama said and calling it lies, I realized to what a degree that the negatives and lies in the Republican Party can lead to and are adding to their own destruction in America. I would just like to add, however, that before Mitch McDaniel, gives a rebuttal and accuses OBama of lying and uses Apple as an example over the truth of the auto industry, it would be good that he does not hold up a company like Apple as a prime example of success.

Since they only hire 43,000 people in America and the other 700,000 are hired outside of America, its probably not such a good idea to use them as a prime example of Republican support.

The auto industry on the other hand that President OBama did work with and helped save, hired 1.4 million jobs that were saved, as well as, added another 170,000 jobs in America. The Republicans never check their facts but instead accuse Barack OBama of lies even though Barack OBama’s information always checks out and theirs’ rarely does, unless they are talking against each other. I think it is the lies, more than anything, that can and is wearing us all down.

Apparently my feelings match the majority view held in America,as early as 2011 as the CBS poll that was conducted the day after his State of the Union then, showed an extra-ordinary number of Americans polled, 91% to be exact, felt that what Barack OBama talked about was what the American people approved of, Only 9% disapproved.

With President OBama, being much more forceful, and the private sector having more months of improvements with increase in job employment taking place, in our economy this year, and after the fiasco of December with the Republicans fighting amongst themselves about lowering the taxes on the middle class, his enthusiam to Unite Americans in fairness, I thought, was even more persuasive. Even more Billionaires, including Bill Gates, came forward and said they too think it is not right that the working poor and middle class pay more than they do, and they want the tax laws changed as well.

The wealthy who are paying less, like Warren Buffet, even said “that the idea of warfare by the middle class and working poor is ridiculous.” He went on to say,” if this is a war dividing us then it is not the workers doing it because it is the wealthy who have the nuclear weapon on their side with all the lobbyists and the lawyers while the middle class and working poor have nothing to defend their side against us.” The envy that Mitt talks about, only exist in the minds of those who refuse to pay their fair share.

While this was going on Mitt Romney, who previously said that Corporations are people, stood in front of a foreclosed house and said, “that Bankers are not bad guys they are just over whelmed”, after telling the people the real problem is the 99% just envied the 1%. This is in a State with high unemployment and the third largest State in the United States when it comes to homes that are being foreclosed on.

At the same time it is being reported that Newt Gingrich is on the Christian broadcasting Network saying,”He is not Normal.” Then in rebuttal he turns around and says,”He is more normal that a man like Mitt who acts so perfect and has only had one wife because he has had affairs, divorces, and married three times.”

This is not the kind of stuff that the Liberal media, that Newt curses, can make up. Even late night comedy cannot come up with the things that are coming out of the mouths of the two main Republican candidates left running.

Even those of us who would never vote for them in 100 years cannot help but feel sorry for them every time they open their mouths and try to explain things like how they actually pay more in taxes even though their money sits in Swiss and Caymen Island Bank accounts, or that the 99% are dividing the Country. How in the world do we get a larger cohesive majority than 99%? If nothing else where is Mitt’s Patriotism that would make him invest in America while he professes to bring jobs to the middle class?

Then there is Newt who says he asked God for forgiveness and then brags about how his behavior is more acceptable than someone who remains faithful in their marriage. The man who had to pay $300,000.00 for ethics violations brags that he has never had a felony. After that he says his friends were turned down by ABC news in rebuttal to his second wife’s statement and it turns out to be nothing more than his two daughters. I mean how much credibility does he think, that gains him.

All I can say to the Super Pacs, who are putting millions and millions into both of their campaigns is, spare yourselves the cash, as nothing anyone can do can keep either or both from talking and at this point when they are not bashing and showing Americans, that they are on the wrong side of the fence when it comes to representing the views of the voters, they are showing us how real the hate is that they are spreading into the airways. They are both making a spectacle of themselves, at a time when Americans need to eat, and all the money spent in the world cannot change the facts. As many a generation before us have said,”You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear.”

The Republicans are upset because according to them, OBama has taken away fiscal support, which I would imagine is government subsidies to Catholic Charities, over the Gay Issue. Even if it is true, and OBama had a damn thing to do with it, shouldn’t the Churches in America be clothing and feeding the poor, any way, without government support?

Don’t they take in millions to billions for the poor, around the World, in their Church collections and tithing? Isn’t giving alms to the poor a part of their Church History going back to the start of their Religion? According to them,OBama,is interfering with the Catholic Churches right to practice Religion, by withdrawing money to Catholic Charities because of their stand on the gay issue and in doing so is interfering with the Catholic Churches’ right to practice Religion. Wouldn’t that be called an attempt to balance the budget if the Republicans did the same?.

Let’s back up here folks and understand that it was Catholic Charities that denied health insurance to all their workers because there might be a person working for the organization that would be gay. What in the name of Heaven, does offering Insurance or denying it to anyone, who are employed by Catholic Charities, have to do with the right to practice Religion? The other argument that could be made, since there are millions of gay people who pay taxes, why do they take their taxes, donations, and their free time, that they donate, to the Church to work for Catholic Charities, if accepting gays,is against their practice of Religion?

When the cost went up on insurance coverage, instead of being honest enough to say Catholic Charities could no longer afford insurance cost for their employees, they hid behind the gay issue. The Catholic Church announced, “They would no longer be giving insurance coverage to anyone for fear there might be a gay person or people in the organization.” Isn’t that what they discovered was in their Priesthood that they simply transferred instead of eliminated and sadly gave a bad name to the rest of the gay population? Let’s at least be honest about it. This is just more of the puffing up and hypocrisy that goes on in the Conservative movement that loses all of us who are not indoctrinated in the movement and have the ability to reason and use common sense.

To say that Catholic Charities could no longer afford it would be something that we would all understand, because the majority of us can’t either, but to instead hide behind the gay issue in the name of God is an insult to the intelligence of us all.

The latest census shows that there are 308,745,538 Americans and estimates are 1 in 5 while others say as high as 25% of Americans are gay. I ask you to do the math yourself and ask yourself, how much donated time, taxes and donations do you think all the Churches who preach against gay Americans, would lose out on, if they refused the Gay Americans’ contributions, and do you think they do, because to do so would be against their Religious beliefs?

I am always amazed by how the Conservative Republicans complain that the media asks them questions on social issues instead of the economy and job growth but from everything that I have seen it is they, who always swing the subject back to social issues because they are all desperate for the Conservative vote, especially with South Carolina coming up next.

The other thing, I am aware of, is while they try to trash OBama’s record, what exactly kind of record has the Republicans had the last 12 years other than piling debt onto debt? 12 years in politics is a life time and is long enough to make them all a member of the 1% or the 40% population.

Have they done anything constructive other than say “No” to everything that would bring legitimate jobs to the middle class or healthcare to the American people? They can’t talk on their own accomplishments since they have none and their idea of job growth only hurts the middle class so they attack.(see “The Right To Work Laws” written in another post by me”)

There is a great deal of trash talk about OBama, “being the food stamp or welfare king”, as well. I hope you know and understand that is just a very cold Republican response towards the middle class people in America, who are going hungry along with the poor.

When Roosevelt initiated programs to keep workers from starving, the Republicans yelled then as well. They claimed we would never be able to afford Social Security, labor costs blah, blah, blah. I am always amazed that these same people who claim family values, want the American middle class who they lay off, to go hungry while blaming it all on the increase of the African-American population on welfare. I know their bull s**t,that we are all too stupid to see through the bigotry, wears on you, my readers, as well.

It isn’t that I have anything against companies making money and capitalism, it is just that they should never do it at the jeopardy to the middle class. When the middle class has disposable income, it has been proven, time and time again, that we have a healthy economy. These bums are out instead to deplete every nickel that the middle class has and to destroy the United States Treasury, while blaming OBama for his lack of ability to unite them.

At the same time the Conservatives rant about the cost of Labor and the cost of the Teachers Unions, these hypocrites wages have constantly gone up while they voted themselves raises at the same time the middle class wages continues to fall or fails to grow. Their wages, without the lobbyists’ gifts, now average in the $850,000.00 range and for the last 12 years they have been paid that by “We the People,” in exchange for the mess they helped create, along with saying “NO” to every effort made by OBama to turn it around. They have voted not once but twice for gifts from lobbyists and then larger gifts from lobbyist, being acceptable, and it has won by a large margin in the Republican Party.

When their cronies and they load up their jets and call it a fact-finding trip, wink wink, do they think about how much it is costing the tax payers then? What about the costs that they charge the tax payers to entertain or be entertained in return? Are they then concerned that the best teachers will be laid off or simply disappear while they load up the fat on the next trillion dollars that they add to the deficit?

When the Republican Party can only agree on one thing, themselves, and their Minority leader Mitch McConnell says he has no intentions to agree with or co-operate with Barack OBama on anything, that he asks for,and his only intention is to see Barack OBama defeated and a one term President, 6 months after he takes office and the entire Party agrees with him on that, as well as, not raising taxes on the 1% to replenish the treasury,is it OBama who can’t bring people together or lead or the Republicans who are breaking their promise to uphold the oath of their office, “So help them God?”

All I ask those who will vote this election year, is to listen to these hypocrites pontificate, because all that is running are right-wing or Tea Party candidates on the Republican ticket, until it suits Mitt Romney better, to claim he is a moderate. When politicians have nothing of positive results in their own record to say, they then find fault or lie about their own dedication while parading around their families and discussing family values.

Mitt will claim to be a man who created jobs when the truth is he laid off people while closing down companies in order to make money for the already wealthy. The reason this campaign year will feel like the Barnum and Bailey Circus has arrived, is because it is the circus that it feels like. Don’t be fooled by them as there is nothing wrong with the instincts of Americans, and I urge you to vote accordingly. You will not regret it.
*********************************************************************
Rather than stray from the thought above I will simply continue this here as it completes the above thought.

My father did not pay into Social Security, until his later years, because everyone was so convinced in the 1950′s that Social Security would not be around for their retirement either. Those were the same brand of conservatives, and also the longest running no taxes Republicans, unless the current ones are allowed to continue. They were no different from the conservatives we have today, who refused to pay taxes then as well.

If we lift the Bush tax cuts across the board, once our economy recovers, and it is coming back, we can pay down the deficit to reasonable ranges again. It has been proven time and again, that with tax hikes, or in this case, just lifting the Bush tax cuts, and a growing middle class with disposal income any economy can rebound as the Gross National Product rises, when the middle class has discretionary spending. It is all about making sure the middle class is well and healthy.

Taking restrictions off of the wealthy who are not hiring, while squeezing the middle class, as is currently the mentality of the Republicans, hurts our economy. It is what helped create the mess we are in. Corporations who stock pile money into the trillions, as is currently happening, are not interested in hiring people back because the middle class cannot afford to buy and therefore they do not need to hire.

They will instead use the trillion of dollars as investment and as take overs of other companies. Every single Republican is lying to the middle class, about how OBama is restricting the Corporations ability to hire. It is their mentality that is destroying the middle class right along with our economy.

The only way, “We the People,” achieve our goals is by getting rid of all of the “never pay taxes”, conservatives and tea party members so we can rebuild the middle class and allow the middle class to grow again. With a healthy middle class we also have a healthy tax base to encourage fairness in the system with the 1% who make up 40% of our populatin, paying their fair share as well.

It is and has always been the Bush tax cuts that are draining the Treasury, to such an extent that unless we get out of this 1950′s mentality, of where our tax rates currently are, we will continue running the same huge deficits that we currently have. Trickle down economics has never worked when the Corporations do not hire, nor when they do. The money simply goes back into the pockets of the wealthy to be regenerated on Wall Street. I repeat: no one can pay off trillions of dollars while the middle class continues to struggle, with out bankrupting our treasury and there by bankrupting, America.

Finally then, Mitt Romney, gets my nod for the biggest hypocrite of all. With all of his attacks on OBama for what the Republicans so hatefully call OBama care, Mitt Romney in his attack on it and the mandates, is talking about the exact same healthcare that he initiated in Massachusetts. The economist was the exact same for his health care as was for OBama care. We cannot afford someone who is a liberal then a moderate and then a conservative when it suits his bid for election and we know his greatest claim to fame is handing out pink slips to the middle class.

Mitt Romney is claiming that OBama care will cost us 95 billion and again it is another one of his lies, as it has built-in mechanisms to make money, as well as factors that will help Americans in their costs, and will actually save the American voters. The real truth is it will cost us 210 billion if we allow the Republicans to repeal it. It’s time to stop the lies and take back our Country from them, on election day.

It is the nature of the Texan to take control and not to follow directions. Remember “Dubya’s” key word, “I’m the decider”? For Joe Barton to use the word “shakedown” to express what he thought Obama was doing to British Petroleum was no accident. Not anymore than Joe Wilson using the word Liar when expressing his views on Obama nor the message boards lighting up with the volunteers yelling mafia. Since the day that it looked like Obama could win the Presidency the right-wing conservative Republicans have made a conscious attempt to evoke the image of Obama being a Chicago thug and an outsider.

Yesterday’s action by Joe Barton was nothing more than exposure of the true belief of the right-wing conservative Republican mentality. They play the blame game and accuse Obama of the very thing that they themselves are guilty of having created. They bring in God and Country along with family values and expound virtue when their true role is as a protectionist. They no more care about American virtue nor practice it, than they care about the people who vote for them. Their real goal is to protect Corporate America at all cost to the people.

The white elephant in the room has always been Corporations that buy and pay for the Republican Party Protection. Make no mistakes about it. When the Republicans won taking the regulations off of Corporate America they shared in the greed as well. There was nothing greater to the damage done to American wealth of the middle class than what was done by deregulating American Banks and Corporations.

We as the public will be paying for that greed for decades and that is why there is such an effort being made to swing the perception of America over to the ideal that it is Obama who is the person that does not care while they fight tooth and nail to protect the interests of Corporate America. That was the true reason that no one Republican voted for the Healthcare bill and fought it “tooth and nail”.

The problem that the Republicans keep running into is that when “we the People’ elect the people who are protecting the corporations they sometimes are going to end up with elected officials that will expose their true belief system. Joe Barton did that yesterday. There is an old saying in, “water seeks its own level”. Simply put it means the corrupt will expose themselves. That is exactly what happened yesterday and is the reason the Republican Party was quick to put the pressure on Barton to apologize.

Once more I urge everyone to get acquainted with the voting records of their representatives both in their States and Washington DC. Be aware of the fact that there are right-wing conservatives amongst the members of the Democratic Party , as well, but not nearly to the extent that they are embedded in the Republican Party. With the internet it is rather easy to find the voting records and it eliminates any excuses to do so. Your vote does matter and will directly change the direction that the right-wing is trying to take in their dominance over the American workers. We owe it to the future generations to be able to share in the Democracy that we all have enjoyed.

Or is it the media that leads the insanity? At a time when the economists all agree the only thing that will bring back jobs is confidence of Corporate America in a turn around of the economy the media is busy talking about OBama in his fancy pants at the gulf. All of the cable news and networks main line of attack is how OBama does not show emotions enough. Would we really feel better seeing the man who leads the Free World looking like a bum and shedding tears?

Hasn’t the media spilled their guts for years about candidates as well as elected officials looking weak and unprofessional when they did shed a tear? Or have they all forgotten about the media circus around Walter Mondale, that they created? Have they all gone nuts! Are we just as bad? The latest polls show that 57% of the Country thinks that OBama is not doing enough about the oil crises in the gulf.

I do apologize to the 37% that does seem to understand that government has nothing to do with British Petroleum’s obvious neglect of the problem that arose and their callous disregard for safety of the people over their profit margin, and still have their sanity about them yet. I do not include you in this post. Why is it so much easier for the rest of you to always blame government and give Corporate a free ride even when they prove they do not care about “we the People” but only the bottom line of profits, time and time again? Corporate pays their political cronies in both special favors and donations and have hired people, lobbyists and media to lie for years and yet you believe them over government.

The facts are the Federal government cannot do anything more than what it has done because at this point British Petroleum cannot do more than what it is already doing to stop the flow of oil. All the best scientists have been asked for their help despite the media giving the politicians or other interests their 2 minute bite to state otherwise.

When it comes to making payments to the businesses BP will move sadly at their own speed. Obama has placed pressure on them to do more than they currently are doing. I’m certainly not defending BP but we can all bet they are getting false claims at least at the same rate they are getting legitimate claims because unfortunately tragedy draws these kinds of derelicts.

This is untested territory in that this is the worse disaster in the history of oil companies. No one in truth, knows what they are doing. B.P. has never been in the market to lose money. That is a fact that we can all count on. The longer this disaster goes on the more money British Petroleum will lose. Unless mankind learns the unknown through trial and error, many times, they do not have the answers. Life does not get solved in real life like it does on television. The last thing BP wants is for this disaster to continue. That is the greatest fact of all.

Six months after OBama got into office we had the nut cases running loose in America screaming that OBama hadn’t done enough to turn around the economy or to save jobs. We have the Tea Party screaming conspiracy with the government in every facet of our lives and others bound and determined to get rid of Social Security. Never mind that before the Bush administration drained the Social Security funds it was the only government program that was working.

Somehow despite all this media lead insanity foreclosures dropped 3% this month and unemployment has dropped to the level it was at in 2008 before OBama took office. I have spoken a lot of the need to show emotions on the family level but I assure you with the mess that Obama was left with if he did show emotions the press and the Republicans would be all over it. From day one they have wanted evidence to use against him that he was not yet experienced enough to be president. I haven’t a doubt, and neither should you, of what a Circus both would make if he looked or acted anything less than Presidential.

If OBama had gone in and demanded a show of regulations and standards having been met in the oil industry prior to the disaster the Republicans would have been all over that screaming how the government under OBama’s care was nothing more than a regulatory company whose only goal was to straggle free enterprise or something as equally prophetic.

What created the economical disaster that we are in seperate from the gulf crisis was that government took off all regulations that allowed the greedy to go wild. I assure you that any attempt made to put the regulations in place will only set off the Republicans as well as the nuts that scream conspiracy.

Now we have the media and the nut cases running around saying that OBama doesn’t emote enough or dresses too well or doesn’t care about us. He only cares about health care. Gee I wonder who he has had to fight tooth and nail to get this watered down package for if not for the people inspite of the nuts being the ones that have been heard.

At this point the non-vote of the Republicans clearly shows that they are against any regulation of the insurance companies because at present the healthcare that could get passed was more insurance reform than healthcare reform and even that has been vetoed by the Republicans.

First we scream that government is too much in our lives and then we scream that government doesn’t care and is not doing enough in our lives. I for one am grateful that we have a president through all the messes that he is up against has shown all of us how to keep our heads down and to keep cool when under attack. It is way pass time that we let him do his job and the media report what really matters. For instance how their pettiness caused OBama to cancel a trip to Asia and thereby upsetting the Asian Nations at a time that we need all the friends that we can get.

As hard as it is to believe when I was growing up, we were not only given false information in our history text books about the beginning of the Civil war it was actually a lie. It was always, possible, I guess, that we had a teacher that found a set of books that had her own views and sadly taught from them, but I sincerely doubt it. I grew up being told that the Civil War was set off as a result of a novel written by Harriet Beecher Stowe called, “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

We were told that she so inflamed the hearts and minds of the American public that it lead to the start of the Civil War. That there were slavery owners such as she described in her book, ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’ but they were few and far apart. The majority of all slave owners treated their slaves with kindness and mercy. Man has been covering the tracks of their “Good Old Boy” predecessors in history for centuries and I am not surprised at all that a woman would be blamed for causing the war between the North and the South by man.

For those that still do not know the truth, The South blew up their own port in Charleston to signify to the North that they were seceding from the Union. They felt the North was charging them too high of tariffs to ship their cotton to Britain and that they themselves could do better and achieve more on their own if they seceded from the United States and became the Sovereign Southern States.

This and only this was the cause of the Civil war. The thought of slavery had never entered their minds much less crossed their lips at the beginning of the Civil War. When the North answered with a declaration of war brother fought brother for four years on American soil. After the first term of the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln, the American people were tiring of the war and wanted it to end.

Simultaneously to this time only, several years after the Civil War began, did it become the concern of the Northern Industrial States to free the slaves, after reading the Harriet Beecher Stowe Book, ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’. So rather that being responsible for starting the war she was actually responsibile for jogging the moral conscience of mankind that lead to the freeing of the slaves.

Because “We the People” were getting upset about the war dragging on and there was a great deal of concern and fear, by the Republican Party Machine, that Abraham Lincoln would not be re-elected after the first term. The”powers that be” at the time, put pressure on as well as influenced Lincoln to inform the South to rejoin the United States or lose their slaves.

The South seemed to be oblivious as to just how badly they were out numbered and over-powered by the North and that they were losing so played the Industrial North’s bluff and as a result of their misconceptions of the war, they lost all rights to slave ownership. With the North having won the war the slaves were freed. The slaves were promised a mule and 40 acreas of land by the Republican party but instead once the war ended they were pretty much left to fend for themselves.

It was illegal to educate a slave as well as for them to own property until after the Civil war and this along with starvation added to an already unjust system that made their sacrfice to the Democracy of the United States of America, Major.

This is the true history of why the Civil War began and how it ended. I do believe that if Harriet Beecher Stowe along with the struggles of the African American people had been honestly told and properly recorded into history, as well as the promises kept them, instead of both being blamed, the outcome of history would have been totally different.

Certainly it would never have taken until 1971 before the admendment to the constitution for equal rights for both minorities and women to pass. So many years of tragedy and misuse of justice to the point of not existing in many cases would have been avoided. Perhaps if they were honored with the credit of esteemed citizens and the struggles that they endured then, bigotry as we know it, all these years later, still would not be a part of American politics?

Lies are not something new to American Democracy. The right people were not always honored nor did the slaves get their 40 acreas and a mule in form of an apology, at the very least, as there are still people that are in denial that these are the historical facts of how the Civil war began and ended. People in denial always have been and always will be delusional and nothing we can do as a society will change that as long as they insist they are right and we are wrong. The real tragedies of life come from two rights being denied, misused and trampled on over right and wrong being debated.

Hopefully, this election year ,we will realize that if history as told in our school text books,is and can be inaccurate, then there also is a very good chance that television, radio, and newsprint ads paid for by special interest groups, along with on-line jabber, are total lies. Clearly we will not believe these ads or the b.s. or use them as our basis for choosing our candidates unless we are partner to their lies.

The so called grassroots movement of the Tea Party that was said to be so broke that Sarah Palin was giving back her speaking fee just 4 months ago, is now spending and breaking all records in the numbers of dollars they spend to insure their candidates win the primaries. To date they have won them all. Their central theme is an absolute hatred towards OBama. Otherwise they are right-wing influenced but not yet definite about what they will be expecting of their candidates when it is time to collect. Their intent is being well guarded and protected from the general public.

Huge amounts of money to buy both candidates and elections, you can pretty much figure out for yourself, will almost always guarantee that these candidates will be asked to do special favors at a later date. Unless of course, you think someone will walk up to you tomorrow and give you thousands and thousands of dollars and want nothing in return.

Any group that makes no bones about their hate towards anyone is nothing more than politics as usual. Groups that are open about themselves and their causes are always more comforting to the voter than those that cloak themselves in mystery and hate towards others. So far no one really knows what their goals are other than hate and the right wing’s on going attempt to change the constitution to deny rights to women, gays, and minorities. They deny this of course but are less than honest about their own real cause.

I promise you that there has never been a group, ever, in history that gave a large amount of money to anyone and did not expect something back in return. We can no longer afford naivity or ignorance anymore than we can afford denial or excuses.

It will take everyone of our votes to stop any movement whose central theme is hate. People as a rule that do not have grounds to support a cause that “We the People” will also support, can only turn towards hate, until after they win the election, and then it is too late for the rest of us to prevent or stop it. It is time to nudge yourself out of the apathy that you have towards politics and get involved with what is really going on in your States, folks. History does indeed repeat itself!
