What Causes People to Hate?

Hate comes from an inner turmoil within the thoughts of an individual and can commonly rise to the level of anger that explodes out of control in individuals or groups. What may begin as a neighborhood dispute between two people can end up becoming a neighborhood dispute involving the entire block if people begin taking sides. The same thing often happens in families with everyone being forced into taking sides, when any issues should remain between the two individuals to work out together.

We often find the similar thing happening in divorce cases where each of the members try to convince their friends, and sometimes their children who were the victims in a marriage, while an over-whelming amount of the time the divorce couples themselves divide the loyalty of their friends or their children’s affections. Too often because the real abusers in the relationship are often charismatic by nature, people will side with the abuser over the victims; Even when marriages remain intact children will often side with the abuser since they are so starved for affection from the parent who abuses they can be manipulated by the abuser who often with holds affection or pays them off with praises or money. Hate can arise from extreme dislike of ourselves and others.  Hate arises from:oppression,fear, envy,greed,ignorance,jealously or any number of negative feelings that arises from an individual person and can spread from that individual through a group.

In organizations,gangs,or groups that demand membership surrenders its own ability to think for themselves to the leaders of these groups, hate can spread through intimidation,brain washing techniques or come from a person who longs to be accepted.  Because these groups often seek out  individuals who feel that they have been disrespected by others all their lives, to join their group or gangs hate spreads through ignorance. When the majority of membership when left on their own really would have nothing against the groups they are trained to hate, they are taken advantage by the leadership that works them into a frenzy of hate.  What often comes out of these groups is the by-product of hate against people that they have absolutely no rational reason to dislike,much less hate.

Rarely if ever is hate based on rational feeling. Greed is involved in gang wars that kill over drug territory for instance.  People get killed without even having so much as discussed their differences with the ones they kill. Many times people who have no knowledge of the beliefs of the Hindu or Muslim Religions will hate entire groups who practice their religious belief.  We find irrational hate against both Religions because a radical, Osama Bin Laden,outside of the beliefs of Muslim Faith, attacked us on 9/11.  The Hindu Religious group in Milwaukee was attacked out of the same ignorance of what appears to be a deranged individual.  Many times people are harassed or attacked for nothing more than skin color while it is supported by law in States like Arizona.

We can hate the spread of hate and we can insist our leaders stop hate but unless mankind educates themselves to understand their own irrational fears or learns to  control  negative feelings, hate can spread like a wildfire and has been a part of history since the beginning  of human existence.

The Middle East has been at war between Religious sects that vary in their beliefs and who view the other as their enemy since 76 AD. Children are taught at a very young age there, just as they are here, who they should hate. Hate is not just a product of America but it spreads around the World with apartheid in Africa and Dictatorship in Cuba.  A mistrust always lays as the basis of hate.

When we have groups like the NRA,The White Supremacy,The Skin heads, 330 Militia Groups Of the Tea Party, gaining support in the Republican Party due to the growth of the Tea Party within its membership, then we see acceptance of hate when it should not be tolerated by government. Some believe there is a  total of 1000  hate groups currently in America.  They range from the radical of animal rights to the anarchists that often are sent to protests in our Streets from across the Canadian border. In these groups we  find the leaders working the members into a feeding frenzy of hate while telling those who already feel disenfranchised from America’s Social fabric, that they are being victimized.  When  hate is spoken about and bandied about combined with drinking cases of beer,hate often begins in one individual and spreads through an entire group of people.

Other times hate is spread against the gay community in Churches with preaching of the Bible verses against the gay population. A huge sector of the internet and social media will spread lies against the innocent or tell half-truths to try to turn people to their cause through hate. Members of hate groups will send out their hate propaganda to friends through email.  Many times gossips will do the same in offices or small communities or neighborhoods. The Conservative Republican legislature refuses to even recognize the gay community as existing, as they claim they have not been recognized by law. In many cases the Bible that was intended to be a guide to lead mankind out of hate and a guide to lead us instead into acceptance of each other, gets misused by Churches and is used instead to stir up hate against groups that they profess to be marked for, “Hell and Damnation.”

The only way any of us can stop the spread of hate is through education and acceptance of all of us.  When we have the very groups who should be helping to educate people against hate responsible for helping spread hate, then it often takes the citizenry to educate those who hate one at a time.  Even when we do we still will find that students who feel like outcasts,those who feel they are superior even though they are often times filled with fear of inadequacy themselves, and workers who get laid off will still be a threat to Society because of the irrational thinking that explodes in the individual who seeks out revenge through hate.

As a Nation we need to recognize the compassion that we have and to do a better job of dealing with the treatment of the mentally ill. Too many even in the medical profession, refuse to promote real and comprehensive reform in healthcare for those who suffer from mental illness because too many times their hands are tied due to Insurance Companies refusal to carry mental patients long-term.  Churches need to take another look at the way they handle the gay issue and abortion and be ever cognizant of those in their own midst that will use either as an excuse to be a hero in the eyes of the Church, by gong on a killing rampage.

As a Nation we need to enforce hate crimes while not enforcing them to the point that they infringe on our rights to freedom of Speech, and that is such a delicate line to cross, that often times law enforcement is damn if they do and damn if they don’t. We need to better educate people in the different religious beliefs and the history of the races without parents yelling Fowl.  We need to teach respect for all people and religions in America but too often when civil rights leaders attempt to do this they are ridiculed and derided for infringing on the rights of white  Americans.  We need to start educating and not stop even while the far right continues to fight against education.

With the younger generations coming up and making friends with people of different beliefs and skin colors we always look for hope in them teaching acceptance and educating the adults to become more tolerate but too many times schools produce the worse kind of hate because the parents accuse the teachers for promoting unity amongst their students, when the parents do not want their children co-mingling due to their own hate issues. Other times parents themselves are so desperate to have their children accepted and popular that they deliberately encourage feelings of superiority in their children when the children themselves feel an inferiority. Some children, who form cliques and are held together by hate, will spread it through phone calls or the internet when they are intimidated by the group to do so if they wish to remain a part of the group.

Due to the mixed emotions  we parents too many times instill in our own children,  groups often form in schools that learn to either co-exists or it leads to disenfranchising a whole group of children because they are not a part of the “cool group” or “one of us.” To often parents create the hate that surfaces in their own children.  This mentality exists in the parents just as bullies are a product of home environment and are a by-product of hate.

The long and short of hate is that it is very complicated and comes from all directions. Even if we could make laws to counter act hate we would have protests from another group that their rights were being infringed on.  The best solution of all is when”We The People” hear words of hate from our children or their friends we take the time to educate our children and support both our Schools and Church leaders in doing the same.  We need to be the leaders against intolerance in our own homes,neighborhoods, schools, and Churches without passing the buck onto another day or another time.  If it is going on in our schools and Churches ,then we the membership, must stand up against it by demanding that the spread of hate stops and is replaced instead by understanding our differences and acceptance of all Americans as equals.

It often only takes one of us speaking out to turn hate into acceptance in our own neighborhoods, one block at a time. We need to get started making a difference now.  Our Republican Congressmen and  Senators need to quit making excuses and start making comprehensive laws of acceptance of Native Americans, the gay population, and Hispanics that grant them rights. The Republican Senate who has filibustered it, can now rethink their previous objections, by passing the Violence Against Women Act that includes Native Americans, the gay populations and Hispanics.

Anyone who has hate issues themselves needs to get help before you help raise the next generation of people made miserable by their own intolerance and feelings of hate. One thing people who hate never find is joy or contentment.  To think that our child or grandchild will never be happy but instead only hate should spring all of us into action by stopping the spread of hate each time we hear it. The media are easy to deal with as all we need to do is switch stations or turn them off, when they spread their hate. ”We The People”, are not so easy to deal with, so we need to get started and lead by example for the next generations coming up, so they never hear the hate that we have heard escalating and spreading these last four years. The voters have spoken.  God Bless all of us!

Pathetic American Supporters For Romney

(late addition: I interrupt this moment in politics to say my heartfelt concern goes out to all of you who are fighting the effects of Hurricane Sandy.  I would also like to tell all Americans to donate any food stuffs to your neighbors who may be without.  The American Red Cross, the Salvation Army,  and other organizations responding  to this crises cannot use food stuff due to the risk of contamination.  Money is always desperately needed.  Those who are not directly effected by the storm but still confused on who to vote for, I encourage you to read my following Posts.  Again  my concern for all of you is genuine regardless if you are still in shock, waiting for the power to come on, or mourning your loss.  May God Bless you all!)

How much more cruelty or lies do we or President Obama have to endure or hear out of the Romney  campaign and his fellow Republican campaigners this season from the Republicans who support Mitt Romney? When we remember his attacks against his fellow Republicans in the primaries it seems as though his campaign has gone on for ever and gotten nastier as each week has passed.  I can’t possibly list all the messages of hate that have been told or is being told against the Man who holds the office of President, but to call Mitt Romney’s campaign a campaign of decency and class is as big of a lie or stretch of the imagination, as any Mitt himself has told.

I thought plutocrats were taught at least a minimum amount of restraint in their messages of disrespect against the highest office of our Land and the men who hold that office, but it appears that they get more attention by being louts than they do by appearing respectable. What is going on with the supporters of Mitt Romney and his campaign is a total complete disrespect mixed with hate-mongering towards our President and I suffice it to say that it would never happen if President Obama was white. For American Citizens to tolerate such low-level campaigning that will cost a Billion plus dollars before it’s over should sicken us all.

I venture to say that the majority of voting is over or will be in the next week as those of us who do care have already voted and knowing how badly the sleazy Republican bunch is trying to cause mayhem at the polls or lie to the voters elsewhere it is wise to vote early.   I have decided to list just a few of the low-life comments being made by Republican candidates and by Mitt Romney supporters. I hesitate in doing so because there are those who feel to print it is to give it credibility but I feel that if it does not get spoken about then the general public will be electing someone who does not represent their values and views. This is not an election to have voter remorse over the day after because as a Nation we have way too much at stake this election to mess it up now with our votes or to tolerate the hate spreading across America, when we are a Nation who embraces the diversity that has led to us being World Leaders in Democracy.

Ann Coulter in a twitter tweak called our President a retard which isn’t only ignorance directed at our President but millions of handicapped people who struggle daily and have far more class than the likes of Ann Coulter, has ever had or I venture, will ever have. Any of us who have been Blessed enough to hold one of these children knows the strength of perseverance and courage that they hold, and as a Nation we should be ashamed of people who would down grade their qualities in such nasty terms.  All children born with the tests of hardships should be elevated to their rightful place as should our President.

The racism is so high that even the most naive of people can’t help but trip over it from the comments of President Obama being lazy and taking naps and how the African-American people need to be taken off of welfare and taught to become janitors and babysitters from Newt Gingrich to the many derogatory remarks made by Senator John  Sununu.Senator Sununu, Mitt Romney’s campaign manager never fails to bring up the race issue and to suggest that somehow as a Senator it is o.k. to malign our President or any race of people as an elected official, every chance he can, is to take civilization back to the 1950′s.  Where have these cave men been living?

Colin Powell went to great efforts to explain how Mitt Romney being all over the map scared him and he like, many other Americans, sees our economy turning around and feels that President Obama is on the right track to recovery.  Senator Sununu was quick to say that Colin Powell’s endorsement for President Obama had nothing to do with the President’s accomplishments and Colin Powell was not being political in his endorsement but only proud of his race. The truth is the Republican Party is filled with rascist and that is the main reason Senator McConnell said the only goal the Republicans in Congress had was to make sure President Obama was a one term President. All of the Republican Party refuses to acknowledge the successes of President Obama.  For every success made by our President they deliberately threw in diversions with the criticisms of Cheney and John McCain gaining the attention instead of the American people being able to celebrate our President’s accomplishments.

For four years we have heard Republican members of the Senate and Congress malign our President while whining that President Obama does not spend enough time with them.  They have started one witch hunt after the other on our President or his cabinet and each time they find nothing just as they did with the Clintons on Whitewater they get nastier and more vocal. Their hate mongering racist comments over the years should sicken all decent Americans but instead there are those who accept this kind of talk and support Mitt Romney.

Just 4 years ago only 23% of our population wanted Mitt to be President while 77% of us were aware of the fact that his kind of doing business was not the kind of business man we needed to recover the mess that was left behind by the greed of the Republican majority. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are both expected to lose their own home States in this election.  I’m not sure that any President or vice President team in History has ever lost his own home State by as far as Mitt Romney is behind in the polls, following having been Governor in that same State.  If this was a Democrat who was losing their home State by an estimated 20% or larger, we can be certain it would be all over the news alerts. The campaign to spread lies by the Patriot groups gained it’s feet and left too many of us who knew the truth 4 years ago, confused today, while others are accepting what they would never have accepted then.

Billionaire Thomas Peterffy is running an ad that he is paying for, talking about the sins of Socialism, which suggest that President Obama without naming him and the Democrats are Socialists so he is going to vote Republican.  Democracy around the World has always provided for the needs of their people and America does not come close to the tax bases that those countries pay out nor do we provide the healthcare that they do.  Anyone who would  suggest because Our Nation is now giving back to those who fought for this Country and to the elderly who have paid in while providing food stamps to those whose income has dropped due to unemployment, that we are now some how becoming a Socialist State is suggesting total ignorance on their part.

It is a slap in the face to all of us who have paid for and earned the benefits now due us and just more of the hate propaganda taking place with the Romney campaign. Other groups have tried to run this kind of garbage in the past and other Republican candidates for office, have refused it. This is nothing more than neo-con talk coming from the mentality that goes back to the scare tactics of the George McCarthy era.  Didn’t we learn how much damage that did to innocent Americans?  Where is Mitt Romney and why isn’t he stopping that kind of ad if he is not a Neo-Con himself?

Trump is at it again and offering to donate to President Obama’s charity of choice if he shows him his college transcripts and saying our President isn’t all that smart.  What Trump really is after is promoting the belief that all African-Americans as well as our President are given special treatment under affirmative action and promoting again that if President Obama shows his birth certificate he will put it to rest even though our President has shown it already and it was broadcast across print media as well as the air-ways.

No other President in history has ever been put through this kind of microscope and had his word so maligned.  Even George Romney who was born in Mexico was not asked to prove his citizenship.  President Obama was born in Hawaii and because of the maligning efforts made by men like Trump, two out of five Republicans still believe President Obama is not an American.  There are idiots running around the blog-0-sphere claiming President Obama after being a Senator and a President has never been vetted.  No one much less the President of the United States of America should have to endure the treatment shown him by these idiots.

I wish I could say that this was all just because of it being an election year but this kind of talk isn’t just taking place by idiots on the blogosphere and Trump but by other idiots as well, such as the head  of the NRA,Rascist groups, Ted Nugent,Sarah Palin and Rush Limbaugh, who are the worse kind of bigots in America, since they have  the platforms provided for them to incite the worse kind of hate. This spread of bigotry and hate has gone on for four years and is the conversation taking place across America by the ignorant people of America.  I have been to two antique auctions where two different auctioneers amongst their lilly white crowds have felt comfortable by taking a swipe at our President.  At the last one a real ass of an auctioneer suggested the crowd buy the old National Geographics because we could find President Obama’s grandmother in one of them.  I will give the crowd this, at neither auction did any one laugh at either auctioneer who felt comfortable taking a swipe at our President, because the majority of us whether we are Republicans, Independent, or Democrats are not ignorant or jerks.

When I hear Ann Romney saying,” stop already on the talk against Mitt Romney”, who has throughout his political career been all over the map on what he believes to the point that if we looked at the film footage we would be dizzy when we walked out,  I can’t help but think,”You have some nerve Lady!”  I can appreciate that Mitt is her husband and she loves him but after the really horrific conversations against President Obama in comparison to those against Mitt Romney that have taken place against President Obama right under Mitt Romney’s nose and he has done nothing to stop it, how dare Ann Romney get on her high prancing horse over what is being said about Mitt Romney.  When Mitt’s words and behavior is all over the map and Mitt changes his views faster than most of us change our under pants what are we suppose to say about him? The man keeps proving  he will do anything and say anything to get elected.

I have yet to hear any suggestions against Mitt’s Religion, remember Reverend Wright being used against President Obama, and when I report on the views of the Mormon Religion it is because I am simply repeating their belief and Mitt Romney’s belief and that does not come close to equaling the playing field of all the hate that has been spread about Reverend Wright and our President being Muslim.  Why does President Obama’s religion matter and Mitt Romney’s doesn’t when Mitt comes from what has always been thought of as a Religion that denies equality to women?

As of 2010 the Security Agency’s of America were able to place over 800 Patriot Groups in America and of those 330 are militia groups.  They go by Patriotic And Christian Names and use names to make the American Citizens think our goals are their goals when in truth it is anything but what the majority of Americans would support. Not all specialize in violence but it explains the movement to fire more policemen and replace them with vigilante groups in 17 States where the “Stand Your Ground law” has passed.

These groups are backed by the John Birch Society and other radical groups who do not necessarily support Democracy, with their aim and power to shrink the government being given to the elected officials of the Tea Party in the Republican Party.  They advocate New World Order which is nothing more than going back to the 1800s, where the rich got richer and the poor got poorer. They want to go back to the days when ruthless men operated without a conscious like Vanderbilt,Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan and Carnegie,  under the guise of free enterprise. They were able to grow monopolies,banking, and corporations without government regulations at this time in History but they are equally as bent on returning us to another time in History and that was when Woodrow Wilson was President and before the Roosevelt programs were put in place creating  a strong middle class.

Too many of these same type of ruthless business men without a conscious still exist today, but many of the family board members or directors are not willing to take the risk their ancestors did or in some cases they are not as competent because they have lost the edge that their earlier ancestors had so many Corporations are run by mostly men who are paid exorbitant prices to get their profits up. They continue to feed us the belief that when business does well we do well or “trickle Down Economics’ which has proven to be a disaster to the middle class.  Instead when we have a strong middle class and we have discretionary spending the economy does well.  The top of the food chain only reinvest it to make themselves richer while competing amongst the top of the ladder while the poor and middle class gets poorer under this system.

Just as greed was referred to then, as being ambitious, it still is today and just as employee wages were cut then with hours being extended by the workers,this same practice is being done today,except the jobs are being outsourced to China and India in exchange for cheap labor. With their efforts to ban Unions or to run them out and to deny employee negotiations,they have passed”the right to work laws” and it is their plan to keep the factories here at lower wages, when it is to cost prohibitive to send the work over seas or demand for the product made is greater here than over seas and to import it back in is too costly.

General motors has come up with the combo fuel and electric  car of the future in the Colt that cuts the need for gasoline down to almost nothing and lessens the need for gasoline at the pumps while cutting down on carbon emissions, and Mitt Romney has said he will stop funding on electric cars and wind towers, if he is elected.Only the original test car that was put through vigorous tests that would not occur with normal driving, started on fire and the fire was eliminated quickly without doing damage to the dummy.  Instead the far right has spread stories about all the Chevy Colts catching on fire. It has been chosen as the car of  the year two years in a row and is the proto-type that other foreign automobiles are following. These Republicans are not interested in saving money out of the pockets of the middle class while making us energy-efficient despite Romney’s campaign promises to do so.

Mitt Romney has said,”I heard that Jeep was going to be outsourced to China,” while campaigning in Ohio, in an effort to win over voters in that State, while Detroit and Chrystler have moved quickly to deny that there is any truth what-so-ever in what Romney is saying, and a figment of Mitt Romney’s imagination.  This has not stopped his campaign from making three different ads stating the very same lie,however.

He has done the same thing with stating that President Obama wants to hand out welfare without work and that has been made clear as being a lie by everyone,even in his own Party. The same man who refused to bet on the American workers and the automobile Industry is so desperate now that he is trying to win on nothing more than lies, while refusing to show the American people what he is hiding by not turning over his own tax returns,when other Presidents have done this throughout history.  His own dad said,” Anyone who runs for the office of President and refuses to turn over at least ten years of his tax returns does not do so because they have something to hide.”

If we, the middle class, refuse to learn from our past mistakes of history and instead only accept the glorifying lack of details when it comes to the Romney claims, that we have no way of knowing are the truth or exists,because Mitt Romney refuses to come clean with us the American people, then shouldn’t we be more observant and ever alert to the idea that if we keep falling for their lies, we will lose?  As members of the middle class, it is our job to understand that they will use any technique possible to gain our vote because of their own greed.  If we keep voting for those who lie over telling us the truth, we will most certainly repeat a history of injustice against our own needs, again and again.

Decreasing the wages of the middle class and stepping up profits for the oil Companies along with speculative Trade on Wall Street began a decade ago under the Bush Administration but increased rapidly with the election of 72 Tea Party members to our States and Washington with a Republican controlled legislature in the 2010 election, when they won another Republican majority. Mitt Romney’s campaign is laying the blame for lower wages in the lap of President Obama, when he knows himself, that Obama has worked tirelessly in an effort to defeat the Republican efforts to eliminate the middle class on the lie of “trickle down economics.”

The “Fat Cats” are getting back inferior products from foreign markets and they know they are looking at a catastrophe in the making and it is only a matter of time before the law suits become cost prohibitive, because of their failure to keep the American public safe, while they eliminate the Unions in our  States with Tea Party elected governors cutting costs on the labor force and laying off teachers,policemen and firemen in the process. Men like Romney felt they had a better chance of taking control over the UAW and lowering wages to the workers if they let Detroit go bankrupt than what they had  if the Automobile Industry came back as it has, thanks to President Obama. They hate President Obama because he is stepping in and stopping their efforts to lay off more of us as well as policemen,teachers and firemen and working to bring back manufacturing jobs by stopping the money going out without Corporations paying taxes on the money coming back in but instead their profits are being kept over seas.  President Obama wants to stop this practice and  instead reward Companies who remain here.

The Republicans look at the wealth of government and see dollar signs that could be going to free enterprise instead, in their efforts to refer to it as entrepreneurship.  In the meantime they are stockpiling their money until they see “blood in the Streets”, speaking figuratively. If it does happen that they shrink the size of government while eliminating Obama care and Medicaid by sending it to the States, and turning healthcare over to free enterprise our paychecks will continue to shrink while our costs goes up. Can any one of us even imagine what the rise in our home owner’s insurance would go to in a natural disaster if we replaced FEMA with Private Insurance as Mitt Romney has suggested would be the idea situation? One thing we know for certain, is when it comes to paying out on Insurance the cost never goes down but continues to escalate even when we put controls on Insurance Companies to compete.  Can we imagine what it would do to our incomes if we did not have those controls or eliminated FEMA as Mitt Romney says would be the idea situation?

They refer to their greed in the business world as having been ambitious and  successful, or survival of the fittest as larger Companies  swallow up smaller Companies. To a great extent this has always been the truth as Capitalism is based on competition but when a Republican majority does not vote just once but twice to raise the gifts they receive from lobbyist then fair trade is eliminated and competition fails to exists, due to the corruption of the Party. Do we really believe that the Insurance Companies they would hire would be concerned about the costs of our policies over their own profit?  The little man gets shut out when his pockets are not as deep and even when he has a better product than the large Corporations or Countries like China and India, who hire the lobbyist, because they have the money to grease the palms of the politicians both in our States and Washington.

The system then becomes rigged against Americans of the middle class over those of the upper 1% who sell an inferior product. These Republicans are a real threat to small business who hires 60% of the workers and will have no compunction in taking them over because this is the same expertise that Romney gained while at Bain Capital. By using Federal funds to save the Olympics he is touting his success story.  They are not against Federal funds when it comes to bailing out their own interests.

Men like Donald Trump who is on top of the food chain in small business and has made his wealth on paper collateral over real collateral from day one, is salivating at the lips to have Mitt Romney elected along with the return of the Bush policy’s and the return of paper collateral.  Banks loaned money that they did not have and it was not protected by real collateral and it is what caused the banking industry to fail and required us to bail it out. President Obama placed regulations back in place so banks could no longer operate by throwing the dice on men like Donald Trump and that is behind Donald Trump’s continual birther reports against President Obama.

The Business men who are referred to as “the men of Industry”,believed in the 1800′s, just as they do now that workers were the property of the wealthy, before government passed laws to protect our rights and Unions came into power to protect the rights and working conditions of the workers. They think that programs initiated by Roosevelt such as the GI Bill, Social Security, and Farm Aide are handouts instead of acknowledging that the military risk sacrificing their lives and we pay into government to buy crop insurance and to insure our ability to live independently, just as we would savings accounts. If they can put that money into Wall Street instead of the government they can gain further profits for the owners and Directors of their boards.

Medicare certainly cost us less since the Government Insurance Company is 6 times larger than all the Insurance Companies combined and government can buy healthcare in larger blocks and keep the cost down for us over what we would have to pay if we had to buy healthcare from unregulated private Industry, but they do not tell us that, but instead lie to us on the truth about the Romney/Ryan Plan. The leaders of course do not tell their followers their honest reasons for doing what they do, since the Leaders of these Patriot groups only make up 1%  of the organizations that promote the lies, and could not accomplish their goals without the majority of workers who fall for their techniques and spiel.

These Patriot groups who back the Tea Party, advocate the elimination of government and promote conspiracy theories amongst those who have been told they are getting a raw deal from government, and sadly these groups place a much larger threat to America than most of us are aware of because they operate in secret. It explains what is happening in America and the increase of power being given to the Tea Party and the insane theories that are being promoted by people like Glen Beck,Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Bachman,Sarah Palin and Senator Allen West of Florida, against the 81 members of the Budget committee in the Democrat Party who are working on shrinking the deficit, while the leaders of these Patriot and Christian named Groups encourage the attacks on Obama care with hate and lies, just as they do against President Obama.

They also  deny women and minorities equality since neither had equality in the 1800′s,when only white males could own property, and the “Good Old Boy” system is again well and healthy. Without the women’s and minorities’ vote the Republicans believe they could gain control and stay in control long enough to finally eliminate the government Agencys that protect consumers along with the middle class and poor. Members of these groups are responsible for the increase of hate and bigotry in America, under organizations like the Heritage Foundation and Americans For Tax Reform ran by Grover Norquist.

Those groups who do not support a militia or are not active members of Government in the Republican Party, find their homes in other locations across the Nation. They are embedded in some of the Christian Ministries,On the Internet, and in the media, both in print and on the air-ways. They all promote White supremacy and overturning of The Equal Rights Amendment, while they deny that bigotry exists in the United States through their spokes people. Mitt Romney has said he will appoint Senator Allen West of Florida to his Cabinet,if he is elected.

I am ashamed for the Republican Party and those who would call themselves Republican even when they are not ashamed of their own words or behavior.  To them it is just doing business as usual the “heck” with who gets hurt in the process.  When it comes to the great majority of the rest of you Republicans,I want to give you a hug, because you more so than the rest of Americans are getting a bum rap by these people who would profess to represent you. I know there are many good Republican people because I have been married to one  for 45 years and live in a State surrounded by Republicans and I know that this is not the language and expression of belief of most of you; Because I do know you, this is what leads me to question,” how in the World could anyone who is Republican tolerate such deception, hate and bigotry by voting Republican?”

What must the rest of the Civilized World think of these primitive men and women who wish to call the shots in the most powerful Nation in the World while they refuse to give anything back to their Country? We are the only Civilized Nation that does not provide for the healthcare needs of all of our citizens. I am embarrassed for all of us who have these out of touch bigots speaking for us when it represents nothing that lies in the hearts of the majority of we, Americans.  We are a Proud Nation that will not nor do we stoop to this level.  We are as concerned by injustice against other people and their women around the World as we are our own,so why do they get by with this if it is not us who tolerates it?

To have two Senate candidates such as Richard  Mourdock and Todd Aiken running for re-election and the Vice Presidential candidate, Paul Ryan, who has lowered the level of respect for women by suggesting that rape is something women lie about because legitimate rape only happens to good girls, and for the Republicans not to protests this loudly and for Mitt to choose it as well as endorse it, I’m sorry, but I do have to ask,”If those are Republican values then shouldn’t we thank God the rest of us have another choice we can make for the highest offices of the land?” Where do these men come from to be able to say some women are not victims of rape but to instead suggest that if women rid themselves of the sperm of demonic behavior, which rape is, that women will be jailed?

As I mentioned before I have already voted, so maybe this does not apply to others who have voted as well, because you have not turned on Television, or are one of our heroes fighting in Afghanistan, or live outside of the U.S and  voted unaware of what is going on in the Republican Party. I’m sure many  others have voted as well, but those of you who haven’t,  I ask you to really think about what kind or quality of a President and Vice President Mitt Romney and Paul  Ryan will  make when they do nothing to stop such hate and a lack of human decency for the middle class,the poor, women,minorities, and  the man in the Highest Office in America?

Will they be willing to negotiate with others who they do not agree with, if our life or loved ones are endangered, or will Mitt say, “it isn’t worth moving heaven and earth to find us or the enemy who attacks us?” Instead  of an effort to level his own hate campaign off a little Mitt chose Paul Ryan, who along with Todd Aiken stood in Congress to try to attach a bill to legislation that would define legitimate rape.  Mitt is also endorsing Mourdock who has said “that rape is the will of God” and refuses to back down from his endorsement. Instead the Republican candidates come back the next day and all say they misspoke just as Mitt Romney claims he did,” when he told the “Fat Cats” that 47% of us think of ourselves as victims and want hand-outs.”How many times can they claim that they didn’t mean it and misspoke before they lose all credibility with all of us?  How well do you think that will work with nuclear disarmament?”

Doing nothing to stop the ads or the talk has to make more Republicans stop and ask, “Do I want this representing me and my proud old party in the World,” I would think.  This kind of behavior is what makes bullies on the play ground.  Do we want our children and grandchildren to go back to believing that other races are beneath them and think it is o.k to speak this way and to treat the handicapped,women and our President this way?

Do we need to ask why more children are becoming bullies on the buses,Facebook, and playgrounds that too often leads to the tragedy of suicide in our children,these most innocent of all amongst us? If our leaders continue to speak in the manner that has gone on with the Romney campaign and their cohorts, what kind of future are we leaving our children and grandchildren, if as the adults in their lives we condone this behavior, by voting for those who promote this hate and send us deeper into poverty, because of their own greed? I repeat;”This is not who we are and we must send the message to our Nation and the World, that turns to us for leadership, by showing them that we are not this kind of America.” It is way past time that “We the People” throw these bums out and turn off those who promote hate on the air ways and across Twitter and Facebook and the blogosphere.

Vote early to avoid the mayhem that is being attempted by the sleazy get out the vote bunch of Republicans who have no values, while the words echo out of their mouths and land on the ears of too many who believe them, regardless of how hollow and nasty those words are. When you do vote do yourself and loved ones along with the World a Favor, by Voting  Democrat.

Simply Offensive

It may or may not be offensive to some when they hear the words”those People” but to me it indicates immediately an effort to separate a part of society from the rest.  With Mitt Romney referring to “those People” I think the majority of us do feel immediately that Mitt Romney who likes to speak of class warfare is actually guilty of it himself, even though he likes to accuse the working poor and the middle class of the same, along with the non-existent envy in all of us.

When he refers to large families, that occur in his own Religion, the  military, and Seniors,as feeling like they are victims and entitled to handouts or are moochers, because lets face it, they consist of the largest majority of middle class citizens who do not pay income tax, we as a Nation should be offended.

The more children in a family the less likely a person is to pay income tax even when they are a member of the middle class. This is why the Mormon State of Idaho ranks amongst the highest in the Nation when it comes to families not paying income tax. In States such as Texas and Wyoming no one regardless of income pay taxes that the rest of us pay, period, and all three States have amongst them strong Romney supporters, while Mitt accuses all Americans who do not pay income taxes of being victims and voting for President Obama, regardless.

The Military who have risked everything so that we may remain free from Dictatorship and enjoy the freedoms that we do, also make up the list of people who vote Republican and they get GI or government benefits in return for their sacrifices and do not pay income taxes while serving overseas.  Seniors who have paid into Social Security for 45 to 50 years, and are the first generation of Americans to do so, are now being called moochers by Mitt Romney, even though Seniors typically vote Republican.

Unlike Mitt Romney who has never paid into payroll taxes since he has never had a  job that required he be hired by someone else and required him to pay into payroll taxes, but instead borrowed money to buy Bain Capital;supported himself and Anne in college with a million dollars of valued stocks given to them by his Dad, and otherwise drew money from the Government tax base, himself as Governor, all of the above people have also paid into payroll taxes.

Mitt  seems to be unable to find any distinction between what he calls middle class moochers and his own Cayman Island accounts and other tax loopholes that are available to the upper 1% only, that he qualifies for and takes advantage of in order to get out of paying a fair or balanced amount of taxes himself. Thousands of people making a million dollars or more per year do not pay income taxes.  We know that the Romney five sons that Mitt supports do not pay income taxes since Mitt Romney pays the taxes on all 6 families and that is part of the 14% paid for in his trust accounts. He fails to appreciate or understand that he is the last person who should be talking about tax avoidance or entitlements.

Pay roll taxes that all working poor and the middle class pay into separate from Social Security,property taxes, and sales taxes, provide for unemployment benefits. Many of us will exhaust all possibilities to find another job first before we do draw unemployment or ask for food stamps.  For Romney to be upset that Americans who are out of work feel as though they are entitled to benefits after they have paid for those benefits only shows all of us just how out of touch that Mitt Romney really is. What part of the equation does he not understand when we understand that ”we paid for those benefits does he not get when he calls us moochers?”

The fact that Mitt Romney has berated and belittled,” 47% of the American population as people he is not concern about because they are dependent on government handouts and feel entitled to the same since they see themselves as victims and will never vote for him anyway,” makes Mitt Romney the most divisive candidate to ever run for the office of President.

On the campaign trail both he and Paul Ryan accuse President Obama instead of being divisive.  They treat all of us as being out of touch with their own hypocrisy as well as Paul Ryan’s voting records and  act as though we do not have a clue what caused us to be out of work. The fact that many of the middle class and working poor now need to draw on unemployment and food stamps because of the jobs sent over-seas by them and the greed of  Corporate America during the Bush Administration, gives them some kind of false bravado while they call us victims instead.

Can we really trust Mitt Romney when he calls for more tax relief for the wealthy while promising to reduce our taxes as well? Doesn’t that lead to the deficit as they dry up the United States Treasury? Why does he attack us to his benefactors instead of discussing the need to lower or eliminate Corporate welfare or oil company subsidies if his policy won’t be born out of the same greed that led to the crises that we feel the most, and he knows the fat cats in the room, just like himself, would not hear of it?  Isn’t the needs of humanity greater than the continued accumulation of wealth at least on the moral level? As the income of the wealthy has risen by another 1.7 trillion in the last year that of the middle class has decreased by 39% over the last 20 years, thanks to the Republican initiatives or the lack of the same at work. Why would any of us want to go back to the Bush economics when we are the ones paying the greater cost of those years?

Mitt is not simply offensive to us just as he was to the London  Olympic committee and the Palestinian people and just about anyone else who is not part of his inner-circle, he is planning on cutting us out, if he is elected. Out of the 47% of voters who do not pay income taxes he has left out the fact that he too qualifies for that sector of people with his many tax loop holes and a great deal of his own supporters, qualify as well. When he refers to the moochers that support President Obama regardless, it clearly is his general belief, that it is”those people” and foreign to his belief of people being Americans who he has any obligation to represent, if he is elected President.

Only 6.9% of our population have never paid into our tax base since they cannot afford to take care of their own needs or are students, which Romney, himself, was when he lived on his father’s stocks and did not pay income taxes as a young adult.  Many of the people in poverty who cannot work are debilated with Downs syndrome,Cerebral Palsy,severe autism, and childhood diseases of all kinds, others are blinded and injured by foreign attacks and accidents while in the Service of our own Country or suffer brain damage as young adults, others are older Americans suffering from cancers, Parkinson’s, or  dementia and have a long history of ill-health or brain damage.

When we have as a Presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, who has already said,” I don’t care about the poor,” previously, along with saying, “the first offices I will get rid of is HUD and Planned Parenthood” who offer cancer screening for the poor and middle class, and his running mate, Paul Ryan, whose voting record clearly shows he does not care about anyone other that the wealthy white male and a fertilized egg even though he expresses great concern for future generations; can they now claim they are running for 100% of all Americans?

On the campaign trail when Romney/Ryan are not talking about repealing Obama care that takes corruption and over charges out of Insurance Companies and passes the savings on to “We the People”, in form of eventual lower insurance policies and in doing so it strengthens Medicare, aren’t they again telling us that they do not care about the elderly and the middle class?  When both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are clearly telling us that the purpose of their running for office is to take regulations off of Wall Street and banking and  to provide cheap employment here in America and abroad,through the failure of trickle down economics that has failed miserably for the middle class and working poor already, then what does it take for all Americans to vote them out at the election polls?

They do not talk about the cheap jobs they will generate with the right to work laws that eliminate Unions of course ,but instead they talk about an America that they will invent, over the reality of their failure to help the 47% while in their own role as Governor of Massachusetts and the previous 14 years Paul Ryan has been in the previous Republican Administration and in Congress, that laid us off and shipped jobs over-seas instead. No matter how much Romney and Paul Ryan try to play to their base by hinting at President Obama being a socialist or communist that has been  promoted by the fringe element of the Tea Party and is the belief of a large part of their base,  they are only promoting the ignorance that unfortunately exists amongst some of the far right, but the rest of we Americans  have not been brain washed into believing these lies and find them ridiculous.

Clearly both Romney and Ryan must know that government already redistributes wealth in a Democracy, like all other civilized Democracies do, when government  redistributes taxes the majority of us all pay, to pay for Corporate welfare,the 1% tax loop holes,Oil company subsidies, Headstart,teachers, low-income housing,healthcare of the poor and elderly, infrastructure, police and firemen.

No matter to what degree the Republican pundits try to clean up Mitt Romney’s words, the one thing that we can be certain of , when it comes to the truth coming from Mitt Romney, what he said when he thought he was behind closed doors and speaking to his own is most likely what he believes.  Remember he was not speaking the words then of the script writers that are written for him or at other times that he has spoken or acted against us. Many of us regardless of Party affiliation do ask, if not for severe brainwashing, then,”Why do so many keep voting against their own lively hood, belief system, or generosity of spirit?”

Mitt Romney has  shown half of us his genuine disdain, despite his efforts to refute it and pass the blame onto President Obama with redistribution of wealth tactics, and much like a child, who says,” you are worse than I am”.  Mitt does believe that 47% of the Nation are moochers while he is entitled to his entitlements.  How will he be able to act as President for that half of Americans, when he believes we are all on our own and even when our heroes are on the list along with the wounded, the ill and the elderly? His own constituency makes up a large part of the list and still he expects them to vote for him in November.

Aren’t we  ourselves to blame if we dismiss his attempts to sugar coat the meaning of his legitimate words, after the truth of how he really feels has been exposed, if we then turn around and elect him to the highest office of government? Don’t we see at least a smither of hypocrisy in the fact that as Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan campaign to eliminate  government offices that protect us and the taxes we paid into along with what they call the moochers, they  themselves are conspiring to gain the two highest offices of government in an effort to protect and lower their and their cronies taxes while increasing their welfare?

Hasn’t Mitt Romney already shown us too many times that it is his policy as well as his own lack of moral compass that is flawed? If we dismiss Mitt as being simply offensive and elect him anyway, then we are voting against half of  all Americans and that makes us as morally tainted and as out of touch as Mitt Romney has become.

I do not believe that the majority of Americans are  so self-serving nor as self-centered as the Plutocrats that rule America are. In the richest Nation in the World, Blessed both with freedom and wealth, I do believe that “We the People” do feel  we as a Nation should pay back those who have paid in through sacrifice,lost of limb,trauma, and out of their own pockets as well as take care of those who cannot care for themselves. This has been a long-held belief not just in our government but in our Churches as well.  It is the backbone of all Religions and the value system of Democracy.

How dare Mitt Romney belittle us for our beliefs,sacrifices, and payments we paid in to assure ourselves the protection that we needed in event we were laid off or became elderly by calling us moochers when he has spent the majority of his life shipping his own money over-seas in an effort not to pay his fair share and instead paid into little to nothing other than his own Church along with the Mitt Romney trusts funds.  Vote in November!

The Dumbest Amongst Us

With the Republican Convention getting ready to start the Republican hopefuls and delegates are looking forward to their largest and most major celebration that they will be able to celebrate, from all of the States in the United States, for the next four years.  Watching  the possible hurricane hitting Tampa, I’m sure must concern most of you enough but I am equally certain that you are determined not to let it get in the way of your celebratory mood.  It is your time to voice your beliefs and to gain that hoped for momentum.

If we do not agree with the Republicans,then we can show up at the election polls no matter how difficult they may make voting for us, in our States.  We who are born with the privilege of being Americans, those who have chosen America as your new Country, or ran from a cruel dictatorship out of fear of oppression, or left a Country that could not feed you or you left poverty behind, As Americans,  we do understand and get that people who do not necessarily agree with us,are entitled to their own celebrations and self-expression.  We are of all beliefs,races,gender preferences, and pretty much grounded enough in our own individual feelings and beliefs, when it comes to our candidate of choice, and our rights protected under Our Constitution. We will affect change to the best of our ability through peaceful means.

Unfortunately, there are those amongst us who lack the intelligence of a corn cob who are either anarchists or terrorists, take your pick, who think they speak for the rest of us with their expressions of hate and violence.  We can not blame a mental illness on them because those who suffer from mental illness are many times delusional through no fault of their own, and believe their thoughts that guide them over their minds, and lack the ability to know the difference.  They often suffer from depilatory disease,  and need our empathy, but sadly we too often spurn them.

The hate groups on the other hand usually are delusional as well but unlike those who suffer from a very destructive disease, this  bunch of losers, who do not want to work towards changing our system peacefully,  through their votes, but instead  try to force their views on others with violence, are cowards.  Having your guns and home-made bombs and possessing only hate and mischief where the rest of us have a heart, you destroy the peace amongst us.  If you do not affect our safety directly then you destroy our ability to get to our homes,our jobs, and our families.

Whether you are terrorists or anarchists, it doesn’t matter as one is as dumb as the other, since you or your group are simply mean and inhumane. You accomplish absolutely nothing but feeding the hatred of the people who share your own lack of common sense. You both maim and injure and often kill the innocent, along with yourselves.  If you are only attempting to draw attention to your plight and it back fires on you and instead some one is injured or killed, then if you are not blown up at the scene, you will be injected with a needle on death row.

We see people in the Middle East blowing themselves up with bombs all the time and throughout history going back to 72 AD they have never accomplished a thing as far as changing policy,power,or bringing hope to their people.  Many of them are living under dictatorships and believe they will see Allah, but what in the World do Americans, who are spoiled and given so much more than what the rest of the World will ever see, think they have to gain in America with violence?

The gangs destroying their own on the streets of Chicago,Philly, and L.A.  all say the same,”I was disrespected.”  Who in their right mind would respect a gun totin, get even, drug pusher? The anarchists and terrorists amongst the thousand different hate groups in America, are no different.

My message to you is simple:  If you think you have some powerful message to deliver, and you have a keyboard,then write a blog or your representatives in the Congress or the Senate, as I can’t imagine anyone who deserves hearing your views more. By writing out your message, those of the same mentality, will join you and then you can listen to what you think is your intellectual exchange and convince yourselves that the rest of the world are morons, while you are geniuses if you like, and the rest of us will try our best to reserve judgement and stay off your site.

I’m not pleased with what has happened to the “Proud Old Party” either, no differently than millions of other Americans, but we will go to the election polls and vote because we would much rather be winners than losers, and have enough empathy for the cause of the elderly,working poor,middle class,minorities,immigrants,gays and transgendered, and women who we do want to effect change for and to help them get back the rights or perhaps for their first time as Americans enjoy the rights that we natural-born Americans have enjoyed.

We need to stop both the Tea Party and Conservative drives to deny us both our rights to equality and our civil rights but the only way we can do that  rationally is at the  election polls. I look forward to the day that we are all treated as one. We still have a long way to go but anything worth working for comes with its own rewards. It is not the first time throughout history that the Republican majority have tried to deny us those rights and if our ancestors did not quit them neither shall we.

We nor do you, have to blow up bridges or people and are not stupid enough to believe either will do anything other than bring harm to others along with our loved ones. We know the best way to eliminate or at least slow down the greed is to get them out of office through the election polls. When we fail to vote we also fail to take on the privilege and duty as a citizen. The blending of our colors and races in America is what makes us great.

The misguided idea that you are fighting the fight of the righteous does not make you Superior, far from it, when all you can do is hate and harm the rest of us;instead it makes you idiots and brings shame to your family. Hiding behind your weapons of destruction, hoods and masks only makes you cowards. The real heroes in America are fighting in Afghanistan so we can all remain free from people like yourself, who hate and destroy.  You are the losers that a free Society unfortunately breeds in its efforts to right itself.

We understand in America that the Republican Convention is the night that the Republican Party has a right to celebrate.  We would not dream of trying to ruin their festivities because we understand that is not the American way.  They are coming from all over America to Tampa and many of them rarely,if ever, have traveled to Florida before and will have shattered nerves in their rush to get from the airport to their lodging as it is, without the threat of a possible hurricane.  It takes the mentality of an imbecile to add to their already trepidation.

In the entire history of the World, anarchy,hate,terrorism, and violence of any kind has only led to the death of innocents and self-destruction.  It has never effected change when it was born out of revenge, stupidity, or hate of  gangs, anarchists and terrorists. Without a doubt, all of you who encourage or practice the same, hands down, are the dumbest amongst us with a heart of stone and a cruel streak that will ultimately be turned loose on those who you do care the most about along with yourself.

They will be the ones who are left to pay the price for your hate and stupidity, because they always are, the ones who suffer the most, and only second to your victim’s loved ones. Where your hearts should be is over-ridden with your need for revenge and instead the victims along with your own loved ones are left with a wound that can never heal while you face a certain death. Where is the intelligence in that?  You nor those who promote the revenge and hate  or righteous attitudes can ever win because your thinking is so misconstrued that it renders you stupid and stupid never wins.  It only leaves behind the victims families along with your own to grieve the injustice you create out of ignorance, while your loved ones remain despised

Prove me wrong; that you are not the dumbest amongst us and cowards, by giving it a rest, at the Republican Convention in Tampa and the Democrat Convention in Charlotte.  The best direction you can take is to read a book or turn on the unfiltered news and try to learn something, because right now  it is apparent to all of us, a little education is what  you need the most. Trust me you will be rewarded as knowledge is the one gift that no one can ever take from us while we are still breathing.

As Americans our very worse days are better than the rest of the World who live under the threat of bombings and guns.  If you are helping to create the same atmosphere in your own neighborhoods then wave the white flag and call a truce. When you work towards keeping  your best days ahead of you and your worse days behind you, by laying down your bombs and guns now, you will find the hope you seek.

Your Moms along with the majority of all Americans, who want you to work with us to effect the change peacefully, that is still desperately needed by changing the minds and hearts of those who are trying to deny all of us our rights will be the most grateful, when you do. President Obama and the Democrats can not fight those who are denying us our rights and freedoms and do it alone, without us. We all are at our best and strongest when we are all working together.We need you to join us at the election polls because some of us will be eliminated by their voter suppression laws and we can only win in numbers.  Vote in November

How Much Do We Need To Know?

I was watching a cable network show the other day, and the question asked of the viewing public was,”When will the government tell us the truth about the Iraq War?”,there were a various number of answers and of course the ever stupid one blaming OBama, but in truth just how much do we need to know?

Those of us who do not bore ourselves with research,read, or study foreign policy probably did not understand that British Petroleum owns 66% of Iraq oil rights and American Corporations owns 18% with Iraq having more oil than, any Country in the Middle East. American oil reserves were at one of the lowest if not the lowest before we went into Iraq. Since we had sanctions against Saddam Hussein he was refusing or making it difficult at least for British Petroleum and American oil companies to get their oil out to the refineries.

Cheney served on the board of Halliburton for years, before becoming Vice President and I believe history will show that he spear-headed the movement into Iraq and the war as plenty have indicated the same. Once an oil man always an oil man is fairly common as with most other occupations. Our other allies did not go to war with us because it was a commerce problem not a problem for war.The American people as well as members of the military, Congress and the Senate were incorrectly led to believe that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and when none were found just as the people on the ground, whose job it was to report back to the U.N., had told the United Nations previously before our going to war, then the people were lied to and told they had faulty information.

Since I did know this,as I regularly check out foreign policy.gov, and I believe that oil is no excuse to go to war, I was very much against the war in Iraq. I believe unless the people or our allies ask us for help, as the Libya people did, we should remain neutral other than when we are attacked on our soil or the soil of our allies or for humane reasons when we are asked to intercede.

America was very much justified to go into Afghanistan and Pakistan,once we had been attacked as we were by Osama Ben Laden. I believe we are justified, to enter any country to eliminate him. I am neither a Pacifist or a Hawk, but I do believe that America should and does have a right to eliminate injustice when asked by those who need our help, since we have the most superior of all military in the World. However after once entering and they feel confidant to continue as Iraq did, we do need to leave when they ask us to. Many times communications or sanctions can solve more than war, and we owe it to our young men and women to open up communications before going to war.

Although I would never advocate that the American voter bury their heads in the sand, or not educate themselves, before going to the polls to vote on the candidates, who do run for office, a great deal of American interests does need to remain in secret in order to better protect our own shores from terrorism,to safeguard our military personnel over-seas, and to serve Democracy. It is no different from a drug bust ever being made, a murder solved, a chop-shop broken up or any crime solved, if the press and criminals were all aware of what the authorities were doing.

The important thing is that our military, regardless of what they were told, fought with honor and after leaving Kuwait today, will all be home, with the exception of 160 troops who are still training the Iraqi troops and those who will remain to protect our Embassy, in Iraq. We need to understand that those who have and are coming home, in so many ways, their war is still going on and may continue doing so for years, while they battle against both physical and emotional wounds. Their families who are making the adjustments and who sacrificed right along with them, will learn as all war families do, that a different person from whom they knew, has returned home. We Americans must never forget their sacrifice when or if the legislatures try to dismiss the long-term care that many will need and have earned.

Our men and women fought with honor, in many cases, to save and spare their own comrades while the great majority of we Americans went on with our lives. It is now time that we rise to the occasion of meeting their needs. We all must remember that 1/3 of our homeless are military vets, when we take umbrage with the poor, and fight for them, when they can no longer fight for themselves.

Before you accuse me of seeing UFO’s and or The Loch Ness Monster, since the Day of the Trojan Horse, much of what has been told to the people, is not always as is, when it comes to matters of war. Even the Civil War began as a war over secession over high tariffs charged by the North to the South and later changed to a war over slavery.For those who think the movies resemble war-time then we all need to reassess reality. There has been much conversation, about the drone that was lost by the CIA into Iran. So much of espionage looks different to the civilian population than it does to those who do know exactly what they are doing.

Because the press sometimes keeps us too well-informed, I can simply say, if I was Iran, I would at least take the smirk off of my face if not consider destroying it, rather than risk the fact that it wasn’t a deliberate “Oops” moment. Do we even know if it is fully equipped or with what or was it set down to mislead? It would not be the first spy plane, that was set down to mislead those we were at war with. I acknowledge that it also may not be anything less than reported, but we too quickly want to believe the worse in the news about OBama or are too quick to accept the spin doctors who promote or pay for the lies that we hear, instead of realizing none of us know a damn thing, if we do not ever question what we read or hear.

A good example of what is currently being reported as fact is that the Republicans are expounding and that is that the Keystone pipeline will produce 20,000 jobs and not cause the American tax payers anything. The truth is the Company itself as well as Cornell University, who makes a point of checking the facts out, says it will produce 6500 part-time jobs and lead to 50 permanent jobs while the Republicans continue to hold up the tax break to the middle class tax payers, without the Keystone Pipeline included.

I think it does us all well to remember:”that a great deal of what we don’t know, does not hurt us,” when we are ignorant of those who do protect our best interest in the World. The inter-net along with some establishment owned networks, some cable television news,radio air ways and print owned by Murdoch and the establishment make it a habit to spin the truth to those of us who would remain better off not knowing their brand of so-called truth. Let’s face it,most of all the lies we hear, even when it is not on the inter-net,media, newsprint or from a politician, do come from an insecurity complex or a narcissist, or an ego or the establishment. As teenagers we seem to know this and sadly, as adults we resign ourselves to accepting it,or worse yet, go into denial and believe the lies.

What we all need to remember is just where our priorities should be and what we should make a point to know and that is during this Christmas, or if you prefer Holiday Season, our goals need to be “Goodwill towards our fellow-man, woman and child,who are in need and or suffering whether it be our own family or our neighbors, and especially that our thoughts and prayers go out to all of our military families.”

I will use this medium to tell all military families.”Thanks to you all” for your service and sacrifices for us, and speaking for myself,I greatly appreciate your heroism, even though I was against the reason we went to war, I am capable of admitting that I was wrong, when I hear about the dreadful treatment suffered by the people under Saddam Hussein.

I just like some of you,would have felt better about the sacrifices you were asked to make, if America had gone to war for humane reasons or if the Iraqi people had asked us to come in, and without the lie of weapons. I have lived enough years to know that even when life may look its darkest or the reasoning behind it is not always sound, more times than not, another door will open and flood brightly with light on the justice of it all. It will all make sense with time, when the press stops reporting the negatives and lies against Obama being weak, and catches on to the protection Iraq will have as an ally of America. War is hell and rare has it been when the troops left, they did not feel the quilt of leaving behind the misplaced people.

The possibility of having a new ally sitting between Israel and Iran, not to mention getting rid of a cruel dictator, is already telling us your time was worth much more than perhaps you can now appreciate, as you gave us more than any of us dared hope for more than a decade ago when Saddam Hussein turned against America, after we set him up with technology and weapons. The potential for a civil war looms great, and I ask patience of us all, while the Kurds, Sunni and Shiites fight for supremacy, as I know it will be hard on the Iraqi people and require more sacrifice on their part, as well. Once there is a victor, then we will begin to see your sacrifices recognized, right along with theirs’.

Once trade opens up between our two Countries and the American people see our economy turn around because Corporations will be forced into hiring back the workers out of need to produce, as we join with our ally in shared interest of rebuilding Iraq and bringing security back to the Iraqi people, then your efforts will become a part of the history you sacrificed for, and the naysayers will know just how much you did contribute to the American welfare, on the back of your own suffering. What the politicians could not accomplish you will accomplish and we will all be better Blessed for your sacrifices.

I am confident that we learned our lessons from what happened with Saddam Hussein and have another chance to be more firm, observant and ever watchful, thanks to your sacrifices. Never forget,” your second wind.” as those of us who care, respect you when you lose sight of it. God Bless you all and again, Thanks! Welcome home where you belong!

Why Does Newt Need To Play Nice?

Something is seriously wrong in America when the Republican candidates have to convince the voters they are indeed Social Conservatives. Have we Americans lost touch entirely with the fact that Religion, stated in our Constitution as well as the law of our Land, should play no role at all in politics? How many of us remember or know, this is the same bunch of people who supported McCarthyism and saw communists behind every tree and brought a great deal of harm and destruction into the lives of innocent American citizens?

There is one reason and only one reason why Newt is advocating playing nice. That reason is because he has so many skeletons in his closet that speaks of corruption and borders on insanity. Once his opposition decides to start pointing this out and using their brand of speculation and half-truths, which the Republicans are famous for, Newt knows that his own party can do far more damage to him than what will be done to him by the Democrats if he makes it to the general election. No one plays dirtier than a Republican Politician who professes to be Conservative, or for that matter Newt of the past, when they get pissed off. That has also been displayed by those who would dare to call themselves, Christians, or the Social Conservatives since their beginning.

For those who really want to believe that the grandfather Newt is a changed man and no longer operates from his own narcism and now has a contrite heart and truly wants to play “NICE”, I only have two words for you and they are:”Get real!”

I for one can’t wait until the truth does roll out of his closet and for once, when it does start, all they have to do is to tell the truth. Part of me does feel sorry for a man who would be naive enough to think that it won’t come out. The question is: Will Newt then be contrite or the same compulsive angry deceitful person he has always been?

If his response to Michelle Bachman in regards to Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae is any indicator, then we know the deceitful part of Newt is still there, and I wouldn’t bet a buck, much less $10,000.00, that the rest of his personality isn’t being disguised, temporarily. Hate isn’t worth it folks. I understand there is not a legitimate candidate in the Republican bunch but that is what happens when the candidates have to meet the criteria for both the Conservatives and Tea Party. You end up with Turkeys who do not have the good sense to get in out of the rain of hate, they create.

It Is What It Is

Yesterday when the Senator from California said it made as much sense to hold all of the Muslim Faith responsible for the Taliban as it does to hold the 700 Club responsible for the Aryan Nation, or words to that effect, the Representative of Florida Family Ass. started spouting off against the Senator infringing on religion’s constitutional rights. Before this he was justifying his groups right to put pressure on Lowes to withdraw their ads on the All American Muslims show while bragging about having effectively stopped Home Depot from doing the same.

Lets make something perfectly clear:In America wrong is wrong. If you are a member of the Westboro Baptist Church showing up at a trial to defend the murder’s right to kill a gay person or to protest your hate at the funerals of military war heroes, you will be listed on the hate crime list. No one in America is above the law when it comes to promoting hate or when it comes to promoting murder anymore than they are when they promote bigotry. The Aryan Nation sadly is not the only radical Christian religion that has killed and promotes White Supremacy or hate. No one religion has a Constitutional right to be protected against the truth when they promote and break the law against separation of Church and State.

What the Constitution does say is that Religion cannot promote one political candidate over another and that Churches clearly cannot enter into the political arena. Because some Churches set up other groups to promote their views, they claim not to be advising their congregations on who to vote for. Instead they use other areas such as film,videos, and documentaries that are expressly and purposely made to represent their views while telling them anything else they read or hear is a lie or they will use groups to promote the wishes of the Churches, in some cases, and other times they do preach from the pulpit the danger of risking one’s soul, if they do not vote for the Republican candidate and if they are not pro-life over a woman’s right to choose by law.

The law of separation of Church and State has flagrantly been broken and abused by Religion in the process of elections; Not to mention the transgression of their members’ civil rights. The Constitution specifically spells out that no Church can influence or otherwise act on, the way it’s members vote in the political process. What makes our Constitution so special is that it is clear that the law precedes and protects the Individual rights over all other groups or organizations.

If religion feels they are being unfairly attacked then they should do something about preventing the image and example that they themselves are establishing in America. No one gets to take advantage of the law or Constitution to strengthen their own views at an expense to others’ Constitutional rights, even if they think they can use God’s law against man’s law.

When we hear about religion being under attack it is because they are bringing it upon themselves by feeling, in most cases, they have a right and duty to speak out because God’s law is superior to man’s law, but when others report that they are breaking the law of the Constitution by interfering in elections or the civil rights of other Americans, then they scream discrimination against religious rights. To accuse Lowes of promoting terrorism and to attack the program American Muslims is very typical of these extremists who are interfering with the rights of all minorities.

If it was just a matter of speaking out for their candidates it would be bad enough, but the fact that they are given freedom from taxation and then put many millions of dollars into campaigning for their own views, it then becomes a gross over-step of the Constitution on their part.

At no time does the Constitution allow anyone group to break the law. I repeat:”No one is above the law in America” and when they show stupidity, bigotry, hate, or infringe on the rights of other American’s Constitutional rights with threats or fear tactics,it is and should be reported.

I applaud TLC for trying to bring clarity to what the Muslim Religion really is but as long as we have groups trying to teach their own brand of stupidity and hate in America, with threats, it is always going to be an uphill battle to stop this brand of propaganda and misguided mentality. Unless we do move to stop it with stronger legislation against this type of hate sadly,”It is what it is.”

The majority of, we Christians, do understand that hate does not have room in our hearts if we do call ourselves Christian and as such we deplore and work towards stopping the hate and bigotry that we do acknowledge exists in America, even if it is only one person at a time. The “skirt will win out over the pants”, or if you prefer “the brooms over the bats”,or since we have room to include both genders we can also say,” the real over the hypocrites”, as we work towards disenfranchising the hateful amongst us. When those who hate learn acceptance of the diversity in America and the value it brings to our Democracy then we will all begin living the Democracy all Americans have a right to live.
Re-elect OBama who has worked tirelessly for Democracy and the American middleclass, even though it has not always been popular with those who would defeat him, in 2012.

Did The Catholic Vote Win Tuesday’s Election?

For those that are not aware of it, for most of the years prior to McCarthy running for president, the Catholic Church encouraged its parishioners to vote Democrat, principally because of the philosophy of the Democratic Party. As I mentioned, the Democrats over the years have always been more supportive of helping the working class people as well as people less fortunate than themselves. The Republicans have always favored instead, Capitalism and free enterprise over social issues. This is no secret, and has been part of their platforms since their inception. I’m always amazed by the people who register and do not have a clue of what their Party platforms represent. McCarthy Democrats upset the Catholic Church, and they joined the Republicans, but have supported individual Democrats as well.

The Catholic Church, threw their support big time behind Hiliary Clinton in New York, but elsewhere supported Barack OBama. This came as a surprise to many. The report continues that the Catholics have won every election, with the exceptions of both Bushes,(they were backed by the Evangelicals and Protestant right wing) that they have supported since the Reagan days. For those that are unaware of it, the Jewish Religion always has and continues to support the Democrats and the Protestant Faiths have always been Republican. No one counts, what they refer to as the “drop aways” in their reports of the same.

When OBama made it clear that he was choosing a pro choice Supreme Court Justice is when the Catholic Church withdrew their support. It is much more reported in Europe, as common knowledge than it is in America. The Catholic districts that won on Tuesday went for the Republicans, whereas before they voted for OBama. I do know from my own experience that pressure has been placed on Catholics for many years now, as to the welfare of their souls, if they do elect someone that is pro-choice.

As Far as the Tea Party being the Catholic vote trojan horse or their opposition, to date, I have not seen any connection beyond reckonizing, what commonly are Catholic districts in both Pennsylvania and Illinois, went for the Tea Party candidate as well. Since the word is that Catholics voted Republican, in force, then it would follow that they would vote for the Tea Party candidate as well.

I stress very clearly that I have no proof of any of the Catholic vote winning the election, on my own, other than what appears to be credible information given to me. If it is common knowledge elsewhere or considered rumor, then I take full responsibilty for that possibility. Every time the American people vote against their own needs,I can only shake my head in disbelief. All of my posts express both my concerns and opinions on current as well as family issues.

When Did Anger Become An Acceptable Excuse?

For centuries mankind has been looking for a cure to treat anger. Approximately a hundred years ago medicine researched with the glands of animals in what was known as glandular treatment to treat anger in men. It is well established that if anger can be treated then murder can be lessened if not prevented altogether. Anger has to precede the action of murder in order for the crime to come to fruition. Without anger there is not murder.

A man from Kansas, approximately 100 years ago, who referred to himself as a Doctor, transplanted the testicles of goats into 16,000 men. Since he had no training at all as a medical Doctor the fact that only 42 of his “so-called patients” died is somewhat of a miracle. Of course, the whole theory ultimately ended up being nothing more than a “quack theory”, but mankind still looks for a way to treat anger without little to no success. This includes a low rate of success in the anger management classes that have been held throughout our Country over the years.

As a Country we have far and away more churches than any other Country in The World as well as far and away more murders committed on a yearly basis. One could theorize that religion has been ineffective in teaching forgiveness over “an eye for an eye” and that crime levels as well as murder remains consistent with where it has been since 1920.

The latest polls show that 84% of Republicans, 70% of independents, and 54% of Democrats are against the Islam Center being built several blocks from the sight of 9/11. Isn’t blaming the Muslim faith for the destruction done by a radical Islamic, namely Saddam Bin Laden, no different from what we as a Nation did when we rounded up American born Japanese and imprisoned and persecuted them, after the attack of Pearl Harbor? Should we blame all Christians for the pedophile priests in the Catholic church? What about all Germans for the Holocaust?

It is my opinion that if we refused Christians from building Churches anywhere in the United States where they owned both the land and were spending their money to build the same percentage of Americans would be in an uproar over separation of Church and State and the liberals would be blamed for interfering with the right to worship.

If we are truly a Nation of Religious Freedom then we must allow the same freedom to Hindus, Jews, and Muslims as we do to Christians regardless of where they choose to build. If New York can prevent the Muslims’ from building and justifying it on legal terms then what is to stop any State from doing the same? For instance where the Mormon Faith is the heaviest, couldn’t they come up with an excuse that it interfered with their beliefs to allow another religion into the State to practice their faith or some flimsy excuse?

It only takes banning one religion, to allow the same law, to reverberate across the Nation and the effects of it to be felt for years. It’s that old theory of give an inch take a mile” when dealing with the number of ways law can be interpreted.Lawyers have all kinds of ways to come up with legalities than can be up held in courts for years while injustices run rampant in the process of Seperation of Church and State.

It was not the American Islams that attacked on 9/11 anymore than it was the American born Japanese that Attacked Pearl Harbor. Great injustices were done to the American born Japanese during that period of history that left a black eye against us for years to come. This is not a part of history we need to repeat with the Islamic faith due to an erratic group of Saddam Bin Laden lead radicals. We Americans are better than that.

I congratulate our President’s wisdom for speaking up even while knowing it is going to evoke more of the same hateful conversation against him. The only way we Americans are going to stop hate and anger is through our own compassion sprinkled with common sense.

The Greatest Of All–Charity

Charity is the one ingredient in life that is missing in the efforts being reported by the media, the right-wing and within our Churches today and that is why ultimately all their efforts will fail.

Too many people see charity as something that we do for others and fail to recognize that it is also what we feel, think and say about others. How can we find credibility in any organization like the Tea Party when they spew so much hatred towards OBama? Or in our Churches when they express such a lack of charity towards Gays? Then there is the media that sensationalizes everything to the point that we lose total sight of, if there was any charitable thought behind the message, or if it was just about the dirt gathered or the lies told.

Since I would rather keep this to what the importance of charity is to us, as an individual, instead of going into the lack of it being shown in our Country today, I will leave it at that and hope somehow the message gets through to the people involved that action without charity is bound to fail.

When I was going through one personal crises on top of the other I found that it was the acts of charity that kept me busy on other people’s problems that would ultimately be the greatest act of kindness towards my own well-being of all. Medicine can only do so much and then it is up to us to do the rest.”Patient heal thyself” is never so evident as when we feel that we need to find someone or something to lean on the most.

In my own efforts I found it difficult to explain to people why I would knowingly be helping someone who would ultimately betray me. They found it necessary to warn me that while I was giving of my time and charity by painting her apartment for her she was out partying and apparently felt it odd that I would be helping someone who would feel comfortable enough to have me doing her work free for her while she played. I tried to explain to them without little success that it wasn’t so much about what she was doing or needed as it was about what I needed at the time.

No this was not the type of charity without strings attached but I mention it because most charity that we do for others comes with strings attached. Most people do charity to fulfill a need in them. It can be with the mentality of their own image or an act to obligate others or because doing so makes them feel better about their own lives. Charity in its purest form is neither self-serving or hate filled and certainly not something that we say or do for others and then resent the fact that we did them the favor in the first place or is it filled with lies.

To find a true act of pure charity then we must look at people who do and say what they do and say without expectation of the same. It needs to be said or done for the clear purpose of the need of the person and many times without the person, themselves, knowing where the charity came. When we find remorse because we said something kind about a person or did a deed that went both unappreciated or unacknowledged then we have given charity for the purpose of our own self-esteem or need rather than for the person it was intended to help.

When the “hat gets passed” in the office for another’s birthday and we contribute because if we didn’t we are concerned of what others would think we are not giving out of a charitable attitude. The same is true when we pay our taxes and then try to remove Social Security when we know that over the years it has been the only thing that has kept a roof over the head of many of our elderly. We complain about welfare even when we are collecting much more in unemployment that what we paid into the program.

The truth is that none of us will ever live our lives without having a pure act of charity done for us or to us whether it be that person that makes our stay pleasant, talks well about us when others speak poorly even though they hardly know us, finds our pet and returns it without accepting a reward, babysits for us free of charge when Mom or Dad need to run an errand or leave town on an emmergency, drops off food at a time of loss, gives through any and all charitable organizations or group anonymously and the list goes on. Even then it is still extremely difficult to do an act of random kindness for another without feeling that the real reward goes to ourselves because of the way we feel when we do contribute without strings attached.

Long story short, if you are between solutions in your life, suffering pain as a result of trauma, or just in a malaise of some sort do something for someone else without need to be repaid and see how much better it makes you feel. Nothing gets our minds off of our own problems faster than helping someone who we recognize of having far greater of a problem than what we have.

It may be difficult right now because of how you are feeling, but there is always someone else that is experiencing worse problems than we are. In many cases, it might even be our own caregivers. Remember then the most important of all gifts is charity as it will give us both the healing power of Faith and the inspiring gift of hope. Enjoy your Sunday as it was intended to enjoy and that is with charity in your heart towards others, and I will guarantee you will have a good day.
