What Causes People to Hate?

Hate comes from an inner turmoil within the thoughts of an individual and can commonly rise to the level of anger that explodes out of control in individuals or groups. What may begin as a neighborhood dispute between two people can end up becoming a neighborhood dispute involving the entire block if people begin taking sides. The same thing often happens in families with everyone being forced into taking sides, when any issues should remain between the two individuals to work out together.

We often find the similar thing happening in divorce cases where each of the members try to convince their friends, and sometimes their children who were the victims in a marriage, while an over-whelming amount of the time the divorce couples themselves divide the loyalty of their friends or their children’s affections. Too often because the real abusers in the relationship are often charismatic by nature, people will side with the abuser over the victims; Even when marriages remain intact children will often side with the abuser since they are so starved for affection from the parent who abuses they can be manipulated by the abuser who often with holds affection or pays them off with praises or money. Hate can arise from extreme dislike of ourselves and others.  Hate arises from:oppression,fear, envy,greed,ignorance,jealously or any number of negative feelings that arises from an individual person and can spread from that individual through a group.

In organizations,gangs,or groups that demand membership surrenders its own ability to think for themselves to the leaders of these groups, hate can spread through intimidation,brain washing techniques or come from a person who longs to be accepted.  Because these groups often seek out  individuals who feel that they have been disrespected by others all their lives, to join their group or gangs hate spreads through ignorance. When the majority of membership when left on their own really would have nothing against the groups they are trained to hate, they are taken advantage by the leadership that works them into a frenzy of hate.  What often comes out of these groups is the by-product of hate against people that they have absolutely no rational reason to dislike,much less hate.

Rarely if ever is hate based on rational feeling. Greed is involved in gang wars that kill over drug territory for instance.  People get killed without even having so much as discussed their differences with the ones they kill. Many times people who have no knowledge of the beliefs of the Hindu or Muslim Religions will hate entire groups who practice their religious belief.  We find irrational hate against both Religions because a radical, Osama Bin Laden,outside of the beliefs of Muslim Faith, attacked us on 9/11.  The Hindu Religious group in Milwaukee was attacked out of the same ignorance of what appears to be a deranged individual.  Many times people are harassed or attacked for nothing more than skin color while it is supported by law in States like Arizona.

We can hate the spread of hate and we can insist our leaders stop hate but unless mankind educates themselves to understand their own irrational fears or learns to  control  negative feelings, hate can spread like a wildfire and has been a part of history since the beginning  of human existence.

The Middle East has been at war between Religious sects that vary in their beliefs and who view the other as their enemy since 76 AD. Children are taught at a very young age there, just as they are here, who they should hate. Hate is not just a product of America but it spreads around the World with apartheid in Africa and Dictatorship in Cuba.  A mistrust always lays as the basis of hate.

When we have groups like the NRA,The White Supremacy,The Skin heads, 330 Militia Groups Of the Tea Party, gaining support in the Republican Party due to the growth of the Tea Party within its membership, then we see acceptance of hate when it should not be tolerated by government. Some believe there is a  total of 1000  hate groups currently in America.  They range from the radical of animal rights to the anarchists that often are sent to protests in our Streets from across the Canadian border. In these groups we  find the leaders working the members into a feeding frenzy of hate while telling those who already feel disenfranchised from America’s Social fabric, that they are being victimized.  When  hate is spoken about and bandied about combined with drinking cases of beer,hate often begins in one individual and spreads through an entire group of people.

Other times hate is spread against the gay community in Churches with preaching of the Bible verses against the gay population. A huge sector of the internet and social media will spread lies against the innocent or tell half-truths to try to turn people to their cause through hate. Members of hate groups will send out their hate propaganda to friends through email.  Many times gossips will do the same in offices or small communities or neighborhoods. The Conservative Republican legislature refuses to even recognize the gay community as existing, as they claim they have not been recognized by law. In many cases the Bible that was intended to be a guide to lead mankind out of hate and a guide to lead us instead into acceptance of each other, gets misused by Churches and is used instead to stir up hate against groups that they profess to be marked for, “Hell and Damnation.”

The only way any of us can stop the spread of hate is through education and acceptance of all of us.  When we have the very groups who should be helping to educate people against hate responsible for helping spread hate, then it often takes the citizenry to educate those who hate one at a time.  Even when we do we still will find that students who feel like outcasts,those who feel they are superior even though they are often times filled with fear of inadequacy themselves, and workers who get laid off will still be a threat to Society because of the irrational thinking that explodes in the individual who seeks out revenge through hate.

As a Nation we need to recognize the compassion that we have and to do a better job of dealing with the treatment of the mentally ill. Too many even in the medical profession, refuse to promote real and comprehensive reform in healthcare for those who suffer from mental illness because too many times their hands are tied due to Insurance Companies refusal to carry mental patients long-term.  Churches need to take another look at the way they handle the gay issue and abortion and be ever cognizant of those in their own midst that will use either as an excuse to be a hero in the eyes of the Church, by gong on a killing rampage.

As a Nation we need to enforce hate crimes while not enforcing them to the point that they infringe on our rights to freedom of Speech, and that is such a delicate line to cross, that often times law enforcement is damn if they do and damn if they don’t. We need to better educate people in the different religious beliefs and the history of the races without parents yelling Fowl.  We need to teach respect for all people and religions in America but too often when civil rights leaders attempt to do this they are ridiculed and derided for infringing on the rights of white  Americans.  We need to start educating and not stop even while the far right continues to fight against education.

With the younger generations coming up and making friends with people of different beliefs and skin colors we always look for hope in them teaching acceptance and educating the adults to become more tolerate but too many times schools produce the worse kind of hate because the parents accuse the teachers for promoting unity amongst their students, when the parents do not want their children co-mingling due to their own hate issues. Other times parents themselves are so desperate to have their children accepted and popular that they deliberately encourage feelings of superiority in their children when the children themselves feel an inferiority. Some children, who form cliques and are held together by hate, will spread it through phone calls or the internet when they are intimidated by the group to do so if they wish to remain a part of the group.

Due to the mixed emotions  we parents too many times instill in our own children,  groups often form in schools that learn to either co-exists or it leads to disenfranchising a whole group of children because they are not a part of the “cool group” or “one of us.” To often parents create the hate that surfaces in their own children.  This mentality exists in the parents just as bullies are a product of home environment and are a by-product of hate.

The long and short of hate is that it is very complicated and comes from all directions. Even if we could make laws to counter act hate we would have protests from another group that their rights were being infringed on.  The best solution of all is when”We The People” hear words of hate from our children or their friends we take the time to educate our children and support both our Schools and Church leaders in doing the same.  We need to be the leaders against intolerance in our own homes,neighborhoods, schools, and Churches without passing the buck onto another day or another time.  If it is going on in our schools and Churches ,then we the membership, must stand up against it by demanding that the spread of hate stops and is replaced instead by understanding our differences and acceptance of all Americans as equals.

It often only takes one of us speaking out to turn hate into acceptance in our own neighborhoods, one block at a time. We need to get started making a difference now.  Our Republican Congressmen and  Senators need to quit making excuses and start making comprehensive laws of acceptance of Native Americans, the gay population, and Hispanics that grant them rights. The Republican Senate who has filibustered it, can now rethink their previous objections, by passing the Violence Against Women Act that includes Native Americans, the gay populations and Hispanics.

Anyone who has hate issues themselves needs to get help before you help raise the next generation of people made miserable by their own intolerance and feelings of hate. One thing people who hate never find is joy or contentment.  To think that our child or grandchild will never be happy but instead only hate should spring all of us into action by stopping the spread of hate each time we hear it. The media are easy to deal with as all we need to do is switch stations or turn them off, when they spread their hate. ”We The People”, are not so easy to deal with, so we need to get started and lead by example for the next generations coming up, so they never hear the hate that we have heard escalating and spreading these last four years. The voters have spoken.  God Bless all of us!

A Message To The, “Good Old Boys”

I cannot sign off of politics until I say Thank You Voters! Three times I have watched elections, in my life time ,where the “Good Old Boys” tried to disenfranchise us. Never have I ever seen it get this close to the edge of destroying Democracy and I hope I never do again.

Until and unless, you the Republican Party, recognizes that women,African-Americans,Asians,Latinos,Hindus,Muslims,Jews,Hispanics,the gay community,American Natives,the elderly, the poor,the handicapped, the youth, and any other minority group are as protected by our Constitution and as equal to all the rights of life,liberty, and pursuit of happiness, as the white Christian male or the Plutocrat, the Republican Party will be rejected by us.   Tonight we proved to you that we are the growing majority. We are born with all the same rights as any American citizen or immigrant who comes here and works,loves,and breathes on American soil. We did send you, the Republican Party, a mandate because it is our numbers that are growing.

If anyone doubts our unity or the Republican lack of the same, all anyone needs to do is look at the tape of the limited races who were in the Romney crowd as verses the diversity of races in our President’s crowd.  The differences of representation were massive. When we join together in unity and tell you, the Republicans, that we must be recognized as equals by you, have no doubts about it, we are unified. None of us will ever deny any of the rest of us the right to our own healthcare,procreation,or equality in the job force or on the pay scale. Each of us will protect the full right to equality for all of us, and you did get a mandate from us.

As soon as our President won the elections tonight the Republicans started talking about now President Obama is going to have to make the effort to go to Congress and work with the Republicans, because he did not win a mandate.  As a member of the new majority, I think I speak for all of us when I say,” you are wrong.”  It is you who needs the new attitude adjustment.  Tonight you got a mandate from us that you will not treat our President like he is less than you are and YOU will work with him on His agenda, and compromise. We are tired of your filibusters and witch hunts and you must stop the behavior and instead use your time to help “We the People” who elects you secondarily to our President and Vice President.

If you as a Republican or one of the “Good Old Boys’ refuse to accept the fact that “We the People” spoke tonight and told you that President Barack Obama and Joe Biden are our choice, and now you must compromise, then you will find a Taxi-cab waiting at the corner for you when you come up for re-election too. We will not tolerate a Congress ran on filibusters or bills being attached that denies any of us our right to our own health decisions or our own bodies or Constitutional rights. It is clear to all of us that you refused to take our message to heart and to listen to us, the American voters, the first time we elected President Obama from your horrid disrespect of him and your refusal to hear us through him, these last four years.

We will not Tolerate another CPAC retreat where all Republican members must sign a pledge to vote against our President’s Agenda or not raise taxes on the wealthy. We will not vote for people who do not tell us the truth or whom we cannot trust because their lies are self-evident.  Too many of us would prefer to see all the Bush tax cuts run out  on those of us who can afford it, so we can replenish our Treasury.

We know that affordable health care needs more work and we expect you to make concessions and to co-operate with our President, so we can take temporary care of the unemployed middle class, the students who are our future, the abused and mistreated, the hungry, ill,elderly,handicapped and,any others of the groups you have chosen to disenfranchise, when they need a hand up.  We will not tolerate anymore bigots in our government who feel superior to anyone member or feel entitled to encourage their own to disrespect our President or any one group in our new majority nor can you ever run another campaign as dishonorable as the one that was ran this year.

We expect you to stop paper capitalism for the lobbyists, by recognizing that regulations do not eliminate profits but instead it eliminates greed. When you work together to cut the deficit you must first deny Corporate and oil company welfare, before denying us Medicare and Medicaid. We will not continue letting you convince us that the EPA is heavy-handed while we watch our children gasp for air. You must not interfere as President Obama appoints his own Federal and Supreme Court judges simply because they are not Conservative judges.

We know we will have to listen for a month at least, while you, the pundits, and Conservative media refuse to accept that you, the Republicans, lost because you offered your own party such pathetic choices both in the primaries and the general election.  I know you will never put the blame on your own backward mentality nor acknowledge the fault lies in the GOP. If you cannot eliminate the Tea Party and “Good Old Boys” from your own ranks, then we the American voters will have to do it for you. We have the power to disenfranchise you because we want to live in a United Nation where everyone is treated equal.   We much prefer that you sweep out your own trash.

Thank goodness this year and half of an election is over.  I never thought for a minute the polls were right as I know too many Republicans who said they could not vote for Mitt Romney, even while my State went 100% Republican. The Republicans were embarrassed watching the long list of right-wingers step forward in the Republican primary debates and shook their heads saying,”There isn’t a one of them I can vote for if they do win the primary,” and their minds never changed. My great concern all along was not that we didn’t want President Barack Obama and Joe Biden back but that your dirty tricks would cause them to lose.

I am always moved to tears of joy, when I see Democracy is still alive and well and that we will never be anything less than a Great Democracy,because character and hope will always win out over fraud and cynicism. No matter how hard you Republicans try to stack the deck against us, Democracy and the entitlement of freedom granted to all of us through our Constitution and Equal Rights Amendment, will eventually  always win.  We the majority, will recognize anyone who tries to return under another cloak of lies or to  deny our rights to our own health issues or equality for all.

You do not have nor will you ever have a monopoly on,”We the People.”  Good day,good luck, and happy thoughts to all of us. I am so proud of all of us regardless of how we voted because I know the hate and lies comes from them and not the majority of us! We want a strong two Party system where everyone plays by the same rules and understands and respects that we are all entitled to make our own decisions,we are Free, and we belong, regardless of the playing field. America belongs to all of us regardless of race,gender,creed,color or gender orientation.  As the 1970′s Helen Reddy song said,”Hear us Roar!

P.S. to Lars—We aren’t dead yet.  America is on its way back to being better and stronger than ever with a new majority! Just watch us as we move forward and grow by doing what Denmark has, and invest in our people.:)

Mormon Women:America’s Second Class Citizens

The Doctrine of Celestial marriage in the Mormon Church, which basically states that women will join their first husbands for eternity on the various planets that allow for a man of the Mormon Faith  to become God like on that planet, denies women the right to divorce in the Mormon Church.

The more children attributed to a Mormon man in the celestial heavens then the more power that man will have on the celestial planets that he over-sees. Due to this Covenant in the Mormon belief, women are strongly encouraged to not use birth control in order to bring greater glory to their husbands and themselves in their after-life. Unless a woman can fully document adultery by letter in very detailed and humiliating terms to the elders, divorce is never allowed in the Mormon Church.  The Mormon Church does not allow for either abuse of wife or children in a marriage by a husband or father because if either exists, it is their belief, that it is the fault of or error of the wife and child to honor or to perform to the wishes of the husband or father.  Since both is considered the blame of women and children neither are grounds for a divorce in the Mormon Church but can only be obtained through civil divorce, and to do so leads to excommunication from the Church when a woman does file for divorce.

The Mormon Church hires a full battalion of lawyers who will defeat any law firm of any less than substantial size, if a women sues for legal support or half of what is rightly hers in no-fault States following a divorce, or a child sues against rape or incest charges after they are excommunicated from the Later Day Saints or the Mormon Church.  The Mormon Church refuses to acknowledge the fault of men against crimes of humanity in their Patriarchal Society and in a man’s family. The view prominently held by the elders and Bishops of the Church who are not ordained ministers but instead lay men such  as Mitt Romney, is the blame of the women or children to follow Church Law towards accepting the wishes and the final authority of the Man of the family.

Women can only be joined to their husbands in the temple if they have never allowed a another man other than their husbands to touch them. 16 years old sons have the power to advise their mothers as the Mormon Church advocates a Patriarchal Society with women being the child bearers and  home makers. A son nor a man can be seen doing house work on any level since this is women’s work. Mitt not knowing what he picked up at the Store is very likely the truth, since more than likely his shopping trips were done by the efforts of his handlers to appease the American public who will vote for him over it being a habit of his to shop. The handlers have worked over time in the campaign from having Mitt Romney appear in blue jeans to making him look like just a common “Joe” of the people.

Once a woman, usually as a very young woman since the Mormon Church promotes marriage in its young people, visits the temple for the first time she is given the sacrament of Endowment, and shown how to wear the “sacred undergarments’.  They are always white and consists of a top and bottom that is binding to remind her of her commitment to God and her husband.  Women are banned from wearing shorts,swim suits, or any clothing that is considered provocative and in most cases from wearing short sleeves.  The virginity of a woman is her responsibility, regardless of the attention or force placed on her by a man, as good girls cannot become pregnant by rape if they do not allow a man to have his way with them or dress provocative as to encourage impure thoughts or actions by a man.

Since the Mormon Religion teaches that the more children men have in the Celestial planets the more God like they are and will become, other women can be assigned to a married man in the Celestial Heavens, even though polygamy is banned in the Mormon Church on earth and only practiced by fundamentalists who have been excommunicated by the Mormon Church.

A woman who fails to marry a Mormon man in her first marriage is often assigned to the Bishops of her Church along with her children, in the after life, if she marries a Mormon man as her second choice. However, the Church is much quicker to accept pregnant brides in the temple and rarely will accept a divorced woman unless she can properly document adultery in her first marriage.

Because virginity is so important in the Teachings of  the Latter Day Saints or the Mormon Church a woman who is engaged or spoken for, while her future husband goes over-seas to preach the Mormon Faith and to gain converts, will often stay with the family of the husband to be, as did Ann Romney stay with Mitt Romney’s parents while Mitt was in France furthering his Faith.

While men are over seas they cannot be in the company of other women, watch television or listen to music and women while their fiance is over seas must  give up their own choices for those two years waiting for their future husbands.  The teachings of Mormonism believes that when young people are taught these restraints for their Church they will remain in the Church for a life time.  The returning men must marry within 6 months of returning home.  Many brides who marry in the temple are pregnant, some figures say as high as 70%, but the Mormon Church would rather see pregnant brides than tolerate divorce.

The Mormon Church in America is the only Religion that has ever been given full and complete dispensation from the Military draft on grounds of religious beliefs. No Mormon will ever serve in the military so we should question if Mitt Romney is even fit to be Commander-in-Chief since being in the military has already been contested by him on Religious convictions during the Viet Nam War. Because  George Romney ran against Richard Nixon for President during this time in history, attention was drawn to  Mitt Romney protesting in favor of the draft and against over-turning it, during the Viet Nam War, and it caused many to see Mitt as a hypocrite even then. Mitt was in a castle in France with Religious Dispensation during this time while Ann Romney was living in the home of Mitt Romney’s father George Romney, waiting for Mitt’s return and their eventual marriage.

Although the Mormon Church has never held as other Religions do that Eve made Adam eat of the apple in the Garden of Eden, it does believe that it is the intent of God for women to be home makers and to produce as many children as the husbands want. All women in the Mormon Faith are expected to be married and to bear children for the men of the homes. Because the number of children produced increases the man chances to become God like in the Celestial Heavens, birth control is greatly frowned on. In a Patriarchal Society that is promoted by the Mormon Church, the Father and husband are the only voice of the home and what they say is the same as if God Himself has spoken.  In more liberal homes a husband will listen with compassion to the needs of his wife and children but what he says is the final word and must not be disobeyed.

Since patriarchal authority is so much the Covenant of the Mormon Church and without this belief both men and women are denied the ability to gain Heaven, the Mormon Church put in billions of dollars in today’s monetary values to defeat the Equal Rights Amendment from 1921 to 1971 when it was finally passed by a majority of the Congress.

They used the argument as did all the Churches who fought against equality for women did, that the equal rights amendment was not necessary for women because it was already guaranteed in the Constitution.  This same argument is used by today’s Tea Party members and was used throughout history to deny civil rights to minorities in the past and is still used to deny equality to the gay population today, as well.

The Republican Party’s majority refusal to even acknowledge the gay population with claims that they are not recognized by any laws, is no different from the argument that was used for generations by the “Good Old Boy”System.  This argument existed for centuries when it came to in-equality for women and minorities and made it possible for both to be denied their equal rights guaranteed in our Constitution.  Without the Equal Rights Amendment that guarantees our Civil rights of equality, the Good Old Boys ” made up of white males, had control over women and minorities, under these exact same claims and arguments.

Can we trust Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan to stand up for equality for women and a fair wage of equal pay for equal work or for that matter to sign into law any Bill or Act that protects women and minorities against the abuse of the ”Good Old Boy” system or in the equality that protects procreation for women today? When Mitt refuses to say he will support equal pay for equal work for women and says he gave women flexible hours  so they could go home and cook dinner for their families isn’t he playing into the stereo-type of his Mormon faith?  In many homes outside of his religion, men often do the cooking.

Flexible hours are as important for men as they are women and should not be gender specific and certainly not based on women cooking dinner, unless of course we are as out of touch with real life as Mitt Romney is out of touch. The true purpose of flexible hours is to make it possible for both sexes to be able to go to Dental, Dr., and business appointments as well as to be with their children if they need to see a Dr. and to attend their activities.  Do any of us think Romney understands the real purpose of flex hours outside of the Mormon Church?

Make no mistakes about it, Mitt Romney, is guided by his Mormon Religion as a Bishop of that Religion and has never said as John Kennedy said,”that if his (Catholic) Religion interferes with his duties as President to all people of all Faiths and all Americans, that he will resign as President of the United States.”

We have already seen Mitt Romney outsource jobs as Governor of Massachusetts and to gain wealth for the wealthy at Bain Capital. Mitt Romney left his own State in such a mess when it came to contracts on infra-structure and unemployment that he was not wanted back by the voters so he only served one term.  Even today he is losing his own State by a whopping 25% in Favor of President Obama while he instead claims he was a successful Governor despite the fact that Massachusetts fell to 47th in the Nation in job creation.Can we really trust Mitt Romney to get jobs in America for the middle class when his record indicate otherwise?

Since Mitt Romney does not specify that it was his actions as Governor of Massachusetts that created number 1 schools in Massachusetts, he does not get a “liar pants on fire,” from Politico but instead an incomplete. Massachusetts has always had good schools and to question if they are number 1 in the Nation is legitimate enough to do so. Maryland, instead, holds the record of having the Number 1 schools in the Nation and many credit the Democrats for making it possible. When we understand that Mitt Romney hired the same Paul Ryan team that made up the Ryan plan to do his budget can we trust that Mitt will not reward the wealthy and punish the elderly and middle class?  Is that why Mitt refuses to tell us which loop holes he will close?  Can we trust the fact that Mitt Romney will not do away with Medicare in favor of vouchers or Obama care in favor of the greed of Capitalism?

Can we trust Mitt Romney not to appoint the next two Supreme court Judges as the next two retire, to protect the equal and civil rights of All Americans.  If he chooses instead from his Mormon base, in which there is a strong fraternity, then can’t we be certain that the Equal Rights Amendment along with Roe vs. Wade will be thrown out by a majority of Conservative judges who consistently vote as Judge Scalia votes? We are that close in this election to denying equality to many in America and to defeating Democracy as we have known it.

If it is your son or daughter or grandson and granddaughter can  you afford to  gamble on that when the past actions and statements of both Mitt Romney and Tea Partier Paul Ryan, disallows for the equality of all Americans?  Did Mitt Romney really mean what he said against 47% of American voters and Paul Ryan agreed with, on the 30% of Americans? Was it just coincidence that they are both on record as saying the same thing against the American people they claim refuse to work and would rather be victims?  You decide, and then re-elect President Barack Obama and vote Democrat in November.

Rubio,”He’s The Best Thing We’ve Got”

What a relief it is to finally hear a tea Party Republican tell the truth.  Since the Republicans have looked under every crook and cranny for something they can use against the Obama Administration and have come up dry in comparison with their own failed policy’s, the Republicans have had to lie in order to sway the voters. They have not been able to go after the Obama Administration as hard as they would like to without the fear of the Republican tactics coming back to bite them in the Butt. That is why Rubio’s comment today was worth capturing. Without meaning to say it, Rubio acknowledged that even,” Joe Biden was better than anything the Republicans have.”

I will give a short history of American Conservatism beginning with today and working back.  The Conservative Press keeps hitting Romney as to why he isn’t  hammering President Obama by staying on the economy. The problem the Romney campaign has in doing so  is: if they do, too much of the truth about the Grover Norquist’s maneuverings,the Carl Rove cheap tricks,  Mitch McConnell’s and Eric Cantor’s behavior in the Senate along with the Republican’s behavior in the Congress, combined with the 56 attempts of Paul Ryan to prohibit the equality of women while in Congress, will become front line Headlines.  Up until now it has only been maverick writers like myself, who have hit on these low points in the Republican Party where others fear to tread.

The earlier politicians in history had what we use to refer to as a” gentleman’s agreement” between the media and the opposite Party that  pretty much stated, “if you don’t hit too hard on us we will return that favor.” This agreement was honored by both sides yet in the 1960′s and explains why so many of Jack Kennedy’s affairs went unpublished.  The Democrats and Republicans, along with the press, looked the other way for years, on the high handedness and sometimes corruption that led to borderline maneuverings of American wealth, until the Republicans pushed it too far and tried to swing the election towards Richard Nixon with the Watergate break in.

As long as both parties played nice and honored the agreement not to mess up the nests of each other,the “gentleman’s agreement”, remained  in Washington.  Both Parties offered the voters hope and led the voters to believe that their concerns were more important than the wealth of Nation. In order to do so both Parties had to raise taxes when needed and pay off deficits during the times the economy did well. A balanced budget has occurred only 6 times in the History of our Nation.  It was also important that the needs of the people take priority over the greed of Capitalism so both parties initiated programs for the people when need arose and prior to the last couple of decades, but it has all changed since the Conservative control combined with the Tea Party grew and gained control in the Republican Party.  The Democrats have had their own history of corruption over the years.

The secrets that went on in Washington were so protected by the Press, sometimes by kick backs, that we had both parties still looking out for the best interest of the people.  When the Democrats were tipped off by “Deep Throat” on the Watergate break in and the Democrats prosecuted the Nixon staff vigorously, the grudge match began between the liberals and the Conservatives.

When the Conservative efforts to impeach President Clinton  failed, they realized that they needed to increase their power and added the Tea Party to their numbers. Although we were led to believe that the Tea Party was grass-roots in 2010 they have been in the picture since the end of the Clinton Administration, and this is what led to the Conservative support and backing of the Tea Party people in the Congress and Senate such as Ron Paul and Paul Ryan, and their elections along with other Tea Party and Conservative members 13 years ago.

The Conservatives hated Clinton for his insistence to balance the budget and Hillary’s efforts to bring healthcare to the American people and began a real witch hunt against both Clintons over White water with the Starr committee.  Hillary had also worked as an aide in the Democratic office during the Nixon corruption so they hated both Clintons.  They spent over $200,000.00 trying to dig up dirt on them on white water and failed.  Newt Gingrich tried to cool them down but ended up being very vociferous against Bill Clinton even though he himself was having an affair while his first wife was dying from cancer. The moderate Republicans were as concerned as Clinton was about balancing the budget as the deficit had hit a trillion and was going up, for the first time in history, and the economy needed stabilizing.

There had not been a balanced budget since the 1950′s when Ike Eisenhower was in office. When the Conservatives  lacked a public voice before Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, they were willing to pretend that their Conservative news outlets were not main stream.  Although that is ridiculous today with the growth in the size of the Christian Broadcasting Networks and Fox news that line of thinking still exist today.

As long as the Conservatives could represent themselves as being the fair and accurate Network that protects the truth from the main stream media they got by with their rant and raving and spread of faux news. It made it easier to  blame the credible news media along with the Democratic political aisle as being spreaders of hate and socialism or as Sarah Palin calls them “the lame stream media”.  The Republican moderate base, unlike the Democrat base was not as fluid or loyal as the Democrat or Conservative base is or was so the Conservatives have cost many voters in their Party to leave and become Independent.

The Conservatives learned the hard way that the more they pushed on the Democrats the harder back the Democrats will push on them.  They learned this both with Watergate and the impeachments attempts they tried on Bill Clinton and found out their muscle could not defeat that of the Democrat’s Power.

I don’t think that even the engineer of Conservative politics, Ronald Reagan would recognize what has happened to “the proud old Party” today nor would he tolerate such greed and bigotry.  Ronald Reagan raised taxes three times when the deficit started going out of control and we saw the first trillion-dollar deficit.

By spending, Ronald Regan was able to raise the GNP but it left us with a very unstable economy and it would take the Clinton Administration to finally stabilize it with building out the middle class. Clinton was able to prove for the second time in history that a strong middle class with discretionary spending leads to a surplus economy.

The Bush Administration went back to Trickle down economics big time and that has always been bad for America, and unless we are amongst the wealthy, it is bad for us as well. By draining the United States Treasury completely, they can turn the government wealth over to Private Business and in doing so deplete the United States Treasury and eliminate the government offices that protects both the poor and the middle class. Despite what Romney said in the debates tonight,hell he even impressed me who is totally cognizant of the truth, his and Paul Ryan’s budget plans and tax initiatives are the Bush Administration on steroids. The truth remains that It is only with a strong fiscal government that “We the People”, can survive the greed of free enterprise.

I will divulge my readers tonight by going off subject temporarily and add that if Mitt Romney is a Conservative he certainly did not talk like one tonight in the debates and regardless of what the pundits are saying, I think he left President Obama totally shocked with the answers he gave because nothing he said in the debates tonight came close to what he is saying on the campaign trail.  I have no doubt that Mitt will never get by with it a second time so he better rest on his laurels with his win tonight. I also expect that he upset the Conservatives and will have to answer to them as well.

Now getting back to the preceding subject, there is a genuine hate grudge in the Conservative movement towards the liberals because they feel as though they have not yet gotten even with the Democrats for the embarrassment they suffered with both Watergate and their failure to impeach Bill Clinton. Never mind the fact that it was their own poor behavior that is responsible for it.  The second part of the analogy is the Conservatives have fought for more than a century to be able to gain the kind of  wealth that the Rockefeller’s and Gettys gained in the 1800′s and this is their last century to do so, because as the population increases so does the size of government increase.

Due to the growing frustrations of the Conservative movement and  the hate they still hold against the Democrats the right-wing politics in both Parties,but to a much lesser degree in the Democratic Party, are losing their Republican base to the Independents who will not tolerate their insufferable intolerance of the American minorities, the gay population, nor their greed,so each election year the Republicans have to court the Independents who left their Party, in order to win them back.

Unlike the Republican Christian base that they have been able to manipulate for years, they have not found the Independent base quite so malleable.  The Conservatives have all the working parts in place this year so it is more important than ever that they win.  If they don’t they will lose the efforts made by them for three decades.   They have been preaching hate tactics against the liberals, the Unions,the needy who in their words are the takers,education who they claim teaches atheism, and gotten by with these tactics because the media fairly well is owned by their own.

When it isn’t their media, the Conservative voters have been told that they can only listen to or watch the Conservative sponsored radio or television channels because they are the only media they can trust because everything else is lies that are paid for by the Liberal media.  Sadly they have been so brainwashed into believing this by people like Michelle Bachman,Sarah Palin,Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly to name a very few, they believe Allen West of Florida when he says the 81 members of the Democratic Budget committee are Communists as well as the fact that President Obama should be tried for treason and is a Muslim and not a United States citizen.

The Conservatives on the right yield so much power that they laid the platform that disallows abortion in all cases including when a woman’s life is in danger or in case of rape.  They have already changed text books in schools that ban evolution and replaced it with Creationism.  They are against Science and had it disallowed on the Republican platform and want to close down controls on Wall Street, The Environmental Protection Agency, Housing for the poor and the Agency that controls out of sight rental charges,The Consumer Protection Agency and any or all Unions and they do not believe in Global Warming.

The right-wing Conservatives want All controls over the greed of Capitalism running amok over the people banned and this  is encouraged by the Tea Party and Conservative members of the Republican Party. Conservative in their interpretation does not mean fiscal controls in Government, like it does to us, but instead the elimination of all controls over Capitalism and they are against all and any kind of taxes and instead want government in the hands of Capitalism or free trade even when to do so  leads to the decline of the general welfare of the people and the middle class. Instead they lie to the general population while calling Liberals who do believe in a strong middle class and a fiscal government of being socialists.

The combination of the Tea Party and Conservative policy of no taxes and their control of 70% of the Republican legislature in Washington as well as the governorships in 17 States, leaves the Conservatives feeling as though they can win on their own policy of greed, in November. The Conservative voters, in the meantime in those States,  are being led to believe that abortion is out of control instead of being told the truth that when the economy is bad and people cannot afford to feed a baby they will abort rather than watch a new-born suffer.  The abortion rates were higher in the 1970′s  than they are today even though our population has grown. The Conservative politicians are so convinced that they have indoctrinated these voters that Grover Norquist has been able to promise the choice for Republican President his assurance of their vote.

Mitt Romney stood in Wisconsin with his arm around Tea Party Governor Scott Walker when he beat out the efforts to impeach him with the money from the Koch Brothers and Sam Adelson and said and I quote, “President Obama wants to add more teachers,policemen and firemen,didn’t he get the message that Wisconsin sent him and that is that we need to fire more teachers, policemen and firemen.” and has promised Allen West a cabinet position if he is elected.  I ask you all, “Does that sound like the man who wants to add more jobs and believes in education who was at the debates tonight?  Mr Etch-A-Sketch was at his finest and “We the People” must take that smirk off his face in November.

President Obama, Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are standing in their way of turning America back to what it was before the Roosevelt and Truman programs enriched the poor to the point we ended up with a strong middle class.  As long as there was only the rich and poor in America the wealth of the rich grew through free enterprise while the poor got poorer and served the needs of the wealthy. They made this same attempt during the McCarthy era and failed in the 1950′s and they are not about to fail again.

Having said all this, when Mark Rubio said today that the Republican crowd should not “boo”, Joe Biden but welcome his statement of the middle class being in the ditch for four years,but only added later due to the Bush Administration,which everyone with a brain knows Biden meant to say, It was such a breath of fresh air to me to finally hear a Republican tell the truth. At my age I was beginning to believe that I would not live long enough to hear such a thing.

When Mark Rubio said today, and I quote, ”He ( Joe Biden) is the best thing we have going for us!” I could not help thinking to myself, even Rubio knows and understands that a Democrat Vice President is better than anything the Republicans have going for them, and certainly better than Romney.   Vote Democrat  in November.

Take A History Lesson Mitt

When I heard Mitt Romney speak this morning at the Clinton Global Initiative, I could not believe what I heard.  He talked in glowing details about free enterprise being responsible for the wealth established out West in the 1800′s and how we needed to quit giving aid without work.  He said and I quote, “Before then there was terrible poverty in the West in the 1800′s and because of free enterprise we were able to bring wealth to that part of the Country.

When we realize there were few settlers in the region yet in the 1800s and Sioux Indian Wars were still raging in the plains that led to General Custer’s death in 1875, my eyebrows arched when I heard Mitt Romney say something so ridiculous. Even though treaties had been signed by the Indian Nations there were still renegade Indian Wars as well as wars between the Indian Nations and the United States Calvary still being fought out West in the 1800s.

The gold rushes that took place out West and in South Dakota did make instant millionaires out of a very few but it was the Railroads that were built by the Army and United States Government that opened up the West for trade that was responsible for the wealth that would follow.

Without either it is highly doubtful that Free Enterprise would have established the railroads that connected the West Coast with the East Coast. As a matter of fact because of claim jumpers and large landowners burning out smaller settlers,highway men or robbers,houses of ill repute and gamblers who often won the deed to other’s land in the 1800′s it has been said that anyone who got wealthy West of the Mississippi in the 1800′s did it dishonestly. The only law available in most of the West in the 1800′s was the colt 45,a rope, and the perceptions of the vigilante that was usually controlled by the large land owners. If a person so much as looked at a member of the vigilante wrong they could find the colt pulled and a bullet in their head.  So much for free enterprise’s role in the wealth of the West that Mitt was glorifying.

The construction and operations of the intercontinental railroad was authorized by the Pacific Railroad Acts of 1862 and 1864 while the Civil War was still being fought.  Congress supported it with 30 year U.S. government bonds and extensive land grants of government-owned land.  It was the culminating success story of the 1800′s as it made possible the transportation of goods and produce from the West into the Cities of the East.  There were smaller railroad lines built by wealthy men prior to this but it was the Army that designed the first Continental railroad with government subsidies that brought both people and trade from the East Coast to the West Coast.

It is true that this was a time of great wealth for large land owners along with  oil magnates in Texas, and coal and gold mine owners in Wyoming and the Dakotas but their families, for the most part,all lived in previously established land owned by Mexico or on the East Coast during this time. Mansions of the gold miners early success did interspersed the landscape of the wealthy who struck it rich in mining but they were few and far between.  They did not share their wealth with the workers but instead paid them drastically poor wages. The railroads shipped in Chinese laborers to do what were very high risk jobs working with explosives both in transport and carving the railroad through mountain rock due to the shortage of people in the West.

American ingenuity was second to none when it came to the inventions of Edison and electricity,Bell and the telephone, and Ben Franklin’s advancement of civilization through the printing press.  The quality of work of Tiffany and Sons and various Silversmiths along with the invention of Eli Whitney’s cotton gen were all factors of American ingenuity. No one could hold a candle to entrepreneurship of the Americans. Cabinet makers who had arrived to the East Coast and potterers and glass makers from Ohio to Indiana made such quality work that it is still highly collectible today.

With the later invention of the automobile and assembly lines by Henry Ford making the automobile affordable to the masses and followed by the Industrial revolution,  interState systems paid for by government and invention of the technology era, we as Americans led the field, but these inventions and advancement of free enterprise were still a long way from reaching the West in the 1800′s as the majority of Americans out West were still living in squalor conditions and the American Natives were starving due to the depletion of their hunting grounds.  American ingenuity and inventions will always bring wealth through free enterprise but this was still a long way off in the West during the 1800′s.

The workers were given deplorable living conditions when they could find work and only those who worked with explosives since their lives were short-lived were given a little extra in pay.  The same was true about those hired to work the oil rigs and to work in the mines.  The only wealth that was brought to the West at the time was no different from what too many Conservative and Tea Party Republican members of the Congress and Senate are trying to accomplish today.

The owners got richer on this so-called free enterprise and the poor were replaced by other poor immigrants as they died off from deplorable working conditions, and they got even poorer. Later they would be paid in tokens that could only be used in the Company stores and by the time they paid the Company housing rents and bought food for their families they usually ended up owing the Company Store far more than they earned.

There was wealth only if you were someone who belonged to the American aristocracy such as Cornelius Vanderbilt,the Rothschilds,the Rockefellers,the Astor’s, Hunts, or a member of the Standard oil family such as Rockefeller and Flagler etc., who were worth a Billion in the 1890′s and the first monopoly or Corporation in America.  They however all lived on the East Coast and not out West. They may have been given credit for being the builders of America or the founders of American Industry, but they did not provide for the sacrifices born out of the American laborers,make up the Calvary or Military, nor provide for the hardships that went into the making of the transcontinental railroads.

That was done out of the blood,sweat,starvation,death and tears of the poor. There were only two kinds of people in the 1800′s when it came to wealth or the lack of the same.  They were either the very wealthy engineers of American progress or the very poor laborers in the 1800′s.  Too many times the artists as well as the cabinet makers along with the inventors would find their own efforts stolen from them by the wealthy because of their families own desperate situations or circumstances. There were no laws to protect the poor and even if there was they could not afford to pay a lawyer. If the 1800′s is something that Romney wants to glorify then we can understand why he does not relate to us.

When produce could be brought from the West by refrigerated cars, later,  the large land owners employed immigrant and migrant workers paying them next to nothing to do slave labor.  The housing conditions for the workers again were deplorable and in many cases not much more than a horse stable or hog shed.

The railroads helped increase the wealth of landowners because they could transport perishable items and profit from it. The smaller producers grouped together to protect their profits from the large producers by forming the Grange or Co-ops. I assure everyone who reads this, free enterprise did not bring wealth to the general masses in the West in the 1800′s. I could not believe that Mitt spoke about this as being a time in History that we must all aspire to because it was a time of great turmoil and unrest in the West.

Beginning in the later part of the 1800′s Germans,Czechoslovakians,Persians, Irish,Asians,Scottish,Swedish, Israelis,Syrians,Russians,along with many other over seas Nationalities, began to arrive through the Great Lakes or our shores to escape persecution, wars, or starvation and mostly settled in the Cities. Some came for the hope of jobs or heard stories of wealth being told about a New Country called America. Those who could farm were offered free land in return for clearing away the trees where forests existed and to make improvements on the Land in States along the Mississippi and Ohio  Rivers.

Some who were paid to fight in the Civil War to replace the sons of the American Aristocracy, arrived during the mid 1800′s and if they survived the war they bought land from the government with the $250.00 they were paid by the wealthy, once the war ended. There was a whole regiment of German-speaking men and other Nationalities who fought in the Civil War, in place of the sons of the wealthy. The African-American slaves who fought in the Civil War was amongst the lowest provided for but the bravest of the regiments. They were sent in front of the troops and suffered the worse casualties due to their bravery.

Fur traders,missionaries, and store owners who traded with the American Natives,arrived earlier and there were scattered settlements out West in the later part of the 1800′s. The French and Spanish had arrived much earlier and had owned a great part of America from Louisiana and all the way into Utah. It all belonged to the American Natives prior to our signing the Indian treaties with them that moved them to the Reservations. It would lead President Abraham Lincoln to ask in the 1800′s prior to the freeing of the African-American slaves, “Did we believe the slaves or the Indians had it worse?”  When the slaves were freed they were never given a mule nor their 40 acres that was promised them by the Republicans.Only California which was established much earlier by the Spanish, before the American and Spanish war, was a center of wealth and growth.

A large part of  the West was still anywhere but close to being established late into the 1800′s when towns or villages were just beginning to pop up few and far between alongside of the railroads. Instead workers were primarily kept in outdoor conditions or in what were called camps. California had their own established wealth from trade,gold mines and an agreeable growing season. Much of the Western Plains were deserts where only scrub brush,tumble weeds,sage brush and cactus would grow in the 1800′s.  Land that produced would turn into farmland much later with the building of dams and irrigation funded by the government.  Next to the Native Americans both the French Canadians and the Spanish were here before the majority of our ancestors arrived in the West.

Farms and towns or what we would call villages started springing up more following the early 1900′s,as government gave incentives to Americans and foreigners from other Countries to move West. They brought with them their ability to survive hardships and to do without while improving the fruit trees and farming.  It is true that many families other than the store owners or those who established banks, were poor in the West.  When the railroads arrived and they could start sending their beef and grain to the East or West Coasts, they realized better living conditions, but it was agriculture and the railroads that made it possible and certainly not free enterprise that helped them improve their living condition.

In 1904 the Kincaid Act was signed and this is what brought the majority of people West as posters were placed overseas offering free land to settlers as well as East of the Missouri.  This brought the majority of white foreigners and previous settlers to America and the West as more towns were established along the railroads, and helped establish the West further.  Anyone who would clear a section of land and build improvements on it would be given the land clear and  free.  These relatively New States of the West,  needed to establish a government and have people to pay taxes in order to do so. They did that by giving people the land in exchange for the taxes they paid into their State Governments.

To suggest that the Father’s of Industry were somehow responsible for bringing free enterprise to the West and therefore increased the wealth of the West is simply fallacy as it was the increase in population and supply and demand that brought the much-needed food supply as well as the coal for heating and the lumber for buildings to the populated areas through use of the railroads.

The Aristocracy simply owned everything in the West that added to their own personal wealth.  Without the railroads financed by government and the laborers who risked renegade and outlaw attacks,snake bites, infections,broken limbs, horse falls,starvation, yellow fever,black lung,tuberculosis,blizzards, drownings, raid attacks by the Mexican out laws,prairie fires,dust storms, heat,cold, floods,plague,diphtheria, to name a few, that took  their lives along with low pay and long hours, and gave of their own ingenuity of blacksmithing,leather making, boot repair along with their understanding of mines to solve problems, none of the progress credited to the Fathers’ of Industry, would have been feasible in the 1900′s, much less the 1800′s.  It did take all of us working together then just as it does today to solve the problems of the future.

It was not until after World War 11 that there was even a middle class in America of any substantial size.  It was the GI Bill with affordable education and housing that was provided by the government and better working and living conditions with better pay that  was  responsible for the middle class and it is what made all dreams possible for all Americans. Companies paid for workers training on the job instead of asking them to get outside training, before they hired them.  For the first time in America the poor could gain wealth through affordable education and fair pay. Our economy boomed as a result of the middle class having discretionary spending and both the Company and the workers profited.

Government initiatives combined with the formation of workers Unions brought wealth to the poor and the workers.  Education guaranteed by government and supported through fair pay laws protected through Union negotiations for the American workers played a much larger role in making wealth possible for All Americans. When free enterprise is left on its own without government controls and Union support for the workers, our pay decreases while their profits increases and our economy falters.

American workers will and are returning to  poverty because of the greed of our free enterprise system and the  lifting of regulations that became worse during the Bush Administration.  When Corporations realizes the quality of the American worker over a sub standard product,and again understand that minimum wages will not spark the economy but only fair wages will, we will again return to a strong middle class.

Companies working together in partnership with Unions,educators,government and on the road that President Obama has established, will again bring  back good paying jobs that we are trained for at our Community colleges, but it will take time to return the middle class to its rightful place. It has taken decades for the greedy to put us in this hole and it will take at least a decade to get us back out of the same hole they dug for us.  When we all have the dignity to be able to provide again, America will return to the fiscal strength my generation became accustomed to. We need to give President Obama four more years before we can see the fruition of it.

Mitt Romney is only right in that Free enterprise does play a role in giving the workers a job but to credit it with bringing wealth to the West or to the workers, when the truth is it was made possible by Government working for us, is a large factor missing in the equation. Government giving immigrants land in exchange for taxes,  government bonds that went into the railroads and the building of our infrastructure,free education provided through government and the Army who mapped out the Railroads,and the military that protected and continues to protect our Freedom,  is the main reason people could ship their product and migrate West.  Government adding armed guards to the trains and sheriffs and policemen  on our Streets so we could move West without fear of death or robbery, seems to be left out by Mitt Romney in the retelling of History.

It was not Free Enterprise that made American Dreams come true but Government being there in partnership with the poor every step of the way to work with us and help us out of poverty, that we of the middle class and many who gained their own wealth have had help from, and we need to support government through a fair and just tax system in return. Our United States Treasury is in desperate need of being replenished by all of us from Wall Street to main Street.

To rob our own government treasury, as Mitt Romney and the Republicans suggest, by adding another 5 trillion dollars to the deficit with a further drop in taxes to the wealthy only continues digging the hole deeper.  To suggest,as Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have, that some how we are dependent on the government instead of the workers having worked in partnership with government to provide for the growing needs and freedom of the American people and free enterprise, is not just an insult to us but an insult to the struggles of our and their own ancestors, as well.

When it has been both the poor and middle class who have made the wealth of free enterprise possible,when we are of all nationalities and have shed our blood and lives for the furthering of the wealth of free enterprise and helped advance our civilization,when we have paid in to our retirements both out-of-pocket and through sacrifice, when we have sacrificed blood, life and limb for a Democracy born out of our Constitution; then the insults of Mitt Romney, who was lying on the beach of France spelling out a love letter to Ann, during his deferment as a Mormon from the draft that he protested in favor of during the Viet Nam War, becomes just that more grievous to us.

The very idea of the Republican complaints against the use of food stamps now that some of us are in a temporary need, that were initiated by their own Bob Dole for a time of need, that they themselves helped create out of greed, by the lifting of regulations over free enterprise is reminiscent of another time in history.  It is attributed to Marie Antoinette that when she was told “the peasants are out of bread” she told them”let them eat cake.” The present group of Republicans led by their hopeful Mitt Romney appear to most of us to have lost sight of the reality and the truth that they themselves have created this deficit of government funds and instead have lifted the regulations that keep the greedy amongst us in check.

It has always been ALL Americans working together, with government and our elected officials working for us, that has made us the greatest and strongest Nation in the World. Jobs provided through free enterprise that only furnished slave labor,deplorable living conditions, and caused the workers to “Owe their soul to the Company Store”, is nothing that we should ever strive to return to, while the rich get richer. Stop their drive to defeat us by voting Democrat in November.

Do The Tea Party & Evangelicals Speak For Us?

If the Tea Party and Evangelicals speak for the majority of Americans in this election year then we can all be certain that we will hear neither the truth or anything based on reality.  The combination of both along with the Conservative media is destroying Democracy as we know it and understand it and yet even the mainstream media is giving more time to their views over that of the views of the majority held views, as Romney slips in the polls. It was said first by Thomas Jefferson:”When we force our Religion on to others then we run the risk of them forcing their’s on us.”

In fairness to the Evangelicals I do believe they are being used as lambs to the slaughter by the Carl Rove groups, the Tea Party, and Grover Norquist  as well as the conservative media to the point they will be the first to fall or be discarded if these groups do get what they want this election year.  When we are brainwashed with lies then we all begin to believe these lies; when we are fed with hate then we all begin to hate;when we are armed with weapons we become violent and the scenario continues throughout our lives.

With the introduction in the 17 States of “Stand Your ground laws”,with 1000 bills passed by the Tea Party led governors against women’s rights to their own procreation and health,with the lies spread that President OBama is not a citizen or a Christian,With the introduction of the “right to work laws” that strip away our protection from the Unions, with even the lunatic fringe calling for treason against President OBama and the list of lies continuing we the majority will not and cannot sit back and just assume that this election will be won on truth and common sense.

These groups were infiltrated in Church camps as young people and even in some of the more severe training camps they bragged about using the same techniques that were used by Ben Laden.  This is a severely brainwashed group of people in some cases that truly believe they are Christ’s soldiers and speaking for God. When they lie for the most part they have no reality of the fact that they are lying since they believe what they are told and hear by the limited views that they live.  Even when they lie they have no real contact with the morality of what they are doing as they believe that the more lies told is the way they win elections.The empathy that we feel for our fellow man is missing in many of these Tea Party members who believe they are the superior race and have a right to wrestle it back from those they felt stole it from them.  When we consider that they are being armed and fed this bunk from everyone from the NRA to every white Supremest group along with the Tea Party and the Carl Rove groups then we understand why common sense and truth will not win this election.

They deliberately concentrate on the strengths of President OBama and then attack it with lies.  President OBama and  his wife Michelle have done more for the Veterans than any other President since Roosevelt, and are only second to him in their efforts to help the military vets.  These groups therefore spread lies about how OBama is attacking the veterans and threatening their benefits in his effort to trim spending in the defense budget.  The truth is of course that President OBama has raised the benefits along with lowered taxes on their housing and are giving companies tax breaks to hire vets.  The only place President OBama is cutting back on spending on the defense budget is eliminating obsolete technology and equipment.

Another example of their campaign of lies has been to attack President OBama who has done more for the Jews than any other President in recent history by saying he is deserting the Jewish population. This is the old Carl Rove and Grover Norquist tactics that worked for them to defeat Senator Lugar of Tennessee because he dared to break the filibustering that the Republicans began on the first day of President OBama taking office.  These same tactics won the election for George W. Bush when they attacked the heroism of John Kerry to cover the fact that George W. Bush hid out in order to avoid going to Viet Nam while John Kerry volunteered for one of the most risky positions in the war.

Because their lies are so effective with these groups who have been brainwashed into believing their hate propaganda against President OBama they can literally guarantee these voters to their candidate of choice.  They only need to credit themselves with the strength of President OBama through lies as we see Mitt Romney doing with the automobile industry and the mainstream media along with 420 conservative outlets running the same lies,and they can guarantee the votes of the people brainwashed into believing the lies.

Any time we the majority,the working poor and the middle class become comfortable in thinking we will not need to vote because people know the truth and will vote with their common sense we will be the losers this election year.  It has never been more important for us to stop this infiltration of lies and the promotion of the lie that Mitt Romney will give us jobs as they only keep talking about jobs while doing nothing to pass bills that will give us jobs.  We can all bet that if the Republicans or Mitt Romney had a jobs bill that would guarantee the working poor or the middle class jobs that President OBama would have signed it into law.  It is just like their health care that denies health to the working poor and middle class while promoting welfare for Corporations when they do try something like the Ryan Plan.

“We the People” need to know and understand that neither the Evangelicals or the Tea Party speaks for us and vote for our jobs and our President who is working to save them along with our rights in November.  Vote for Barack OBama and a Congress that will work with him in November.

Another Time In History

It was not that long ago, when we consider the amount of time than mankind has lived, when we or our family members were all on the list of the despised and hated.  The Republicans need to acknowledge that their time of discrimination has ended.  A new wave of acceptance has reached America.

Just as the Republican Party, the Churches, and the red necks of America fought against the acceptance of a Catholic President, a Black President,  and while other’s believed the Mormon Faith was a  cult, the last prejudice against an entire sector of people in America is falling.  Even though the Republican Party and those remaining Churches who still refuse to accept the gay population of America have many friends and colleagues that are gay, they still are denying the equality to them than no man has a right to deny any American who pays into our tax base,fights for our Country, and  is a citizen of America.

When we ourselves are victims of prejudice we have a full understanding of the ways in which we are discriminated against and the names and ways the bigots try to hide behind Christian values, as a more endearing or kinder excuse to gain acceptance of their views, over that of acknowledging prejudice.  The argument against marriage in the gay community sounds eerily the same as it did before Jews could marry into the white population or the reverse discrimination when Jews were not allowed to marry outside of their faith,before Catholics could marry Protestants or again the reverse discrimination when Protestants could not marry Catholics, and before inter-racial marriages were allowed. We all felt that discrimination or our family members did when we fell in love with someone outside of our religious convictions and were not allowed to marry them without threat of excommunication.  The very people who were discriminated against, not that many years ago and those who still are, have clearly forgotten what discrimination felt or feels like and looks like when they were denied the right to marry because discrimination has always been raised to a higher level behind the excuse of Christian values.

For those who argue that the beliefs of the Churches  is not mean-spirited, that may be true to those who do not deal with the situation on a personal level, but when I remember being a Catholic and marrying a Protestant during this period of time, I can assure you it felt like hate.  To be told that my husband as a non-Catholic could not go to Heaven or the reverse from a Protestant mother-in-law that the Catholic Church was storing guns in their basement to attack non-Catholics while she tried her damnest to break us up and to invoke her Preacher’s name; it still is very difficult for me to believe that hate did not feed into these views of prejudice. It did not even come close to the hate during that same time and the Bible being quoted against the sin of a”white woman laying down with a black man.”  The views out of the Christian communities in the past as well as against the gay population today, are very much fed on hate when we are the people who are involved with loving the person who the Churches deny us the right to marry.

The Republicans along with too many of the Churches are dead wrong on this issue.  Either we are a Country of equality for all or a few in this Nation, that call themselves Republicans, are the ruling class of America and have the right to tell the rest of American people what  their rights and place in America are.  The last I remember they were not given the power to discriminate against anyone in our Constitution but instead only in their Churches.Seperation of Church and State is the law in America.

For Romney to say,” that the gay people have rights as they can visit each other in the hospital when they are sick,” seems to be a generous concession on the part of the Republican Party who has appointed themselves as the ruling class.  Without marriage children will always be considered ill-legitimate in America.  Without marriage a committed couple remains single for life.  Without marriage siblings have a larger right in many States to the property and assets that  a committed couple spends their lifetime working together to earn.  To claim that marriage is just the right of heterosexuals and to hide behind Religion sounds a lot like it sounded when slaves were refused the right to marry on Religious convictions when inter-racial marriages were wrong because of religious convictions, and when Jews, Catholics and Mormons were burnt out of their homes for fear that one of their children would marry a white Protestant, because they were considered to be lesser than the white Protestant, by the religious convictions in the community of their day.

How far back do we have to fall or how much rule will we tolerate giving over to the Republican Party over all of us, who are ourselves or family members of discrimination,  before we all vote for equality and justice for all in America?  When the same Party denies that the gay population falls into the arena of hate crimes, while voting against it, and they have a History of yelling, “Religious Convictions,” for 200 years now, haven’t we who are or were one of those discriminated against, forgotten our own roots?  It is time to quiet that over-worn excuse that allows their hate to grow while dividing the civility of the American people. Vote for equality for all Americans in November.

Ted Nugent Is A Coward And An Idiot

I try to remain out of the fray that gets into name calling but there are some times when the names fit the person so perfectly and when that happens then I am no different from the masses in that I find it necessary to speak the obvious.

I took interest in politics at a very young age and as a result I go back to the days of my Father’s interests and remember clearly the Adlai Stevenson and the Ike Eisenhauser race of the 1950′s. The Conservatives were angry then and talking the same rhetoric that they do today in how it is illegal to pay taxes and no one should have to pay any taxes. The same bunch who is always eager to send the young men and women, as long as it is not their children or grand children to war, do not feel they owe Our Country anything of a monetary value.

One escapes all of the hate and stupidity once we start out of the Bible Belt of America and instead they get into the gang wars of the cities. Armeggedon and Biblical wars seem to justify this mentality in some, in the more rural areas of America. With the National Rifle Association or better known as the NRA meeting in St. Louis this year they divided the difference between the redneck territory of America.

Mitt Romney, like every Repubican President before him, met with the NRA and spoke while asking for their support,and as such he does need to stand up and speak out in regards to the hate coming out of the mouth of board member of the NRA, Ted Nugent,whose words are clearly being said in an effort to incite violence against our President. It is a disgrace to all Americans that the Republicans have not seen it as their duty and responsibility and demanded that Ted Nugent cease and desist or they will withdraw from the membership of the NRA. Instead Mitt and the gang continue to curry the favor of Ted Nugent and the NRA that he represents. What Ted Nugent is saying is not a suicide threat as suicide patients go to hospitals and not jails, and to say so is only a cop out.

There has not been an election, in my memory, where the NRA has not stirred up the waters of hate or convinced a certain sector of America of believing that the Democrats or Liberals will take away their guns.

They gather together and nod their heads and agree that they will eliminate all Democrats and Liberals who protect the rights of gays,minorities,and women at the election polls, before they have their hunting rifles taken from them. Because of this insanity and bigotry fed into the Bible belt by the NRA they have been an important and intricate part of the Republican Party going back to the beginning of their roots. Typically every Republican running for the office of President, whether they have ever shot a gun or gone hunting, will meet with them for their support since they are one of their greatest indoctrination forces in the the Heartland and points South,North,East and West in America. Many Republican Presidential Candidates will put on the clothing of a hunter and go out and pose for a photo opp.

The truth is that the Democratic Party pretty much leaves the NRA alone. The Brady bill that led to pre-registration of guns, prior to buying a gun and was long over-due, was passed because it was President Ronald Reagan who was shot, and passed through by the support of Republican Party, itself.

All the stupidity and scare tactics are played out with words like Socialists and Communists and crude slang for African Americans,Latinos,American Arabs,Viet Namese and any minority in their area,and gays, being chatted by the skin heads and red necks of America, every election year. Each election year the Red necks gather around a beer and talk about the damn commies,gays and minorities infiltrating America and threatening to take away their guns. Because of the influence and often stupidity fed by the NRA into American Society the Red Necks truely believe that the Democrats are out to destroy their Constitutional right to bear arms. In some of the more red neck groups along with the hate groups there is more talk about hunkering down and arming themselves against the damn Liberals in their manmade bunkers. Ammunition and gun sales go up along with cammoflage and the NRA accomplishes it’s goal of making the paranoid amongst us just a little more paranoid.

What makes Ted Nugent both an idiot and a coward with his statement,”if President OBama is re-elected he, Ted Nugent, will either be dead or in jail next year.” is he is deliberately promoting that one of those paranoid rednecks around him, ends up dead or in jail by assassinating our President. It is the same lack of responsibility that the Pro Life members take when an abortion clinic is blown up and the people inside are all killed by one of their own who wants to become a infamous hero in their eyes. Unfortunately this type of rhetoric works in the mentally embalanced in any group or organization.It is a direct attempt to incite a threat of assasination by an man of questionable skill and intelligence.

If Ted Nugent was not the coward he is he would have made a direct threat and the Secret service would throw his butt in jail and pump him sunshine. By talking in the words that he did he sounds tough and ready to give his life to the cause when in truth he is much too big of a coward to do anything other than to threaten the life of an Honorable man who stands head and shoulders above the likes of Ted Nugent.

I will not give further credence to the words of an idiot other than to prove my point in that this Tea Party member has also said that “Sarah Palin is the most capable politician in America.” If that does not prove what an idiot he is, then I rest my case.

Sadly in America there is an arm of the Tea Party who does feed hate and advocate violence and keeps the Conservative base of the Republican Party stirred up and convinced that President OBama is a worse enemy of the people than what Hitler was to Germany.

The redneck community often feels as though they are victimized by government because everyone else around them, in their minds, do not work as hard as they do but has more than they do. When it is not their fault, which it never is in their minds, then it is the government’s fault and people who run it. They believe that all the jobs they are qualified for are being denied them and instead going to women, minorities, and gays. They in their misguided minds see the white male as being entitled to first choices as that has always been the norm in their experience. Women belong at home taking orders from the man just as do the minorities need to understand that the white male gives the orders, and do not compete with them in the work force. The only thing that separates them from the hate of the Ku Klux Klan is the different names they call themselves. They do not nor will they ever see government as the protector of the people.

The Tea Party ideology that feeds into this mentality only leads to the kind of hate that is coming out of the mouth of Ted Nugent. I have said for years and truly mean it, we are under a greater threat from these type of terrorists groups within our own Country than we are from the terrorists outside of our boundaries.

These cowards who spew hate are not just located in sections of the cities but are far greater in the rural areas of America. Each year their rhetoric becomes louder and more hateful and because of that it is important that the Republican Party takes a strong stand against this kind of hate that does come out of the mouth of a very hateful man such as Ted Nugent, and the groups that feed into it.

I believe we have seen the lack of leadership in the man who wants to be President in, Mitt Romney, in regards to his lack of handling this situation with Ted Nugent. If the best Mitt can do is to correct the language of a would be terrorist, who threatens the life of Our President, is “watch your language,” then just what kind of a leader will he make?

Is the same man who professes to be a great business leader and a protector of the people even capable of leading?A man who can only understand the needs of the weathy, is just another politician too many in the minds of many. I think at heart this is the real thing that concerns all of us about Mitt Romney. A man who has been a liberal, a moderate and now a conservative because it suits his needs to be elected is always capable of becoming whatever the “Powers that Be” want him to become. With Ted Nugent exposing the under belly of the Tea Party and the mentality of the Conservative, can any of us afford to have a President who will be easilly influenced by this hate and unable to pronounce that such hate will not be tolerated in America, as our leader? Who Are The Pro-Choice?

We are the majority, we are the pro-choice. We are both men and women who will never have an abortion nor will our daughters or grand daughters ever have an abortion. We understand that the decision, if it occurs, will be a difficult decision for all involved, if they feel forced into making that decision. We are older men and women, students and non-students,young and middle-age, rich and poor, Christians and non-Christians.

We are Americans, who understand and appreciate that the choices that women make needs to be protected by law, as history proves there are those who will deny us our legal rights, when we do not have freedom of choice or equality.

We are old enough to know and remember the horrors that women suffered before Roe vs. Wade. We understand and know to take the legal decision away from women will only condemn them to an uncertain probability that they will go elsewhere or try to abort on their own, without the care of professionals.

We understand that when the law is changed, if it is, we condemn our fellow sisters to an uncertain probability that they will not survive an illegal abortion. We remember the days, when as women, we did not have choices and as such live babies were killed and buried or left on door steps of vacant buildings or in garbage cans. Dr.s knew that abuse of some kind was going on but for years they refused to believe that parents, much less mothers could injure or kill their babies.

Because poverty was so common it was simply easier to list babies as failure to thrive or crib deaths and it is only modern medicine that recognizes that the probability of live births who were smothered or died, existed before abortion became legal. It was a well-kept secret amongst women or family members who assisted in the births, especially when incest was present,or the baby was a mixed race,or a mother thought the child would starve due to extreme poverty, and when Dr.s were rarely called. We remember that making abortions legal lead to a drop in abortions and death of live births.

We all know regardless of age, we cannot speak for other women who have the very difficult decision that we pray none of us will ever have to make.

We understand there are mothers of 12 to 16 year olds who have been raped by family members,friends, or strangers. We know that incest involves mostly girls, from the age of 8 to 12 but boys as well, and is the most under-reported crime in America, followed by rape of boys and then girls. We understand that women who are drug addicts and victims of incest will often go into prostitution and are bullied by pimps who will kill them or desert them in alley ways as beaten pulps, if they do not get an abortion.

We understand even when it appears to be a loving relationship as well as marriage, when a woman who is pregnant or recently pregnant dies the number one cause of death is homicide. Unless men are examined or penalized for life for the role that they play in the death of women who get pregnant and they either demand they get an abortion or pretend to go along with the pregnancy, when they clearly do not want the child, women are placed at an even greater jeopardy when abortion is not legal.

We understand that young girls who feel discriminated against by their fellow students and unloved will often seek out men or predators on the inter-net, sometimes as early as the age of 12 to 14, and their parents will need to make a difficult decision when it comes to a child having a child, and will need the law on their side when they do.

We understand that children and young women who suffer from a number of diseases that pregnancy will either kill them or disable them further, sometimes do get pregnant. We know that both they and sometimes their parents as well as their Doctors will need to make a decision that will need the law on their side.

We know there are older women with lung and heart problems, also with multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s’ disease,obesity,Arthritis, and diabetes who will not survive the birth of a child or be disabled further. We know tests show mothers they are carrying a serious mentally damaged fetus without a brain. We know that in cases of artificial insemination too many embryos complicate a live birth and in all these cases both the women and the Doctor need to be protected by law.

And finally we understand, any decision a woman will feel they need to make, is their right to make, and between them and their Doctor and we are not appointed as judges and jury nor as emperors or dictators, over their lives, when they are adults and given the God-given right as well as the State-given right to make those decisions, themselves.

We know that history shows that with or without laws, women will have abortions or simply leave babies to die, in the case of unwanted pregnancy, and the only way we can lessen that from happening is to have a place like Planned Parenthood who is able to reach the women who have little to no money and the most likely to get abortions.

We need these trained professionals, in place, who can reach women and distribute birth control to prevent pregnancy and death or starvation. We need doctors who can attend to the needs of women and girls who are not sexually active but do not have healthcare so cannot afford the services of regular Doctors. We need them to offer council to our own daughters who.” would rather die,”(not actually just an expression in most cases) than talk to their parents about birth control or let them know they are sexually active.

We know that Planned Parenthood was able to council 241,000 women out of having an abortion last year. We know they save lives, as well when it comes to treating sexually transmitted diseases. We cannot allow the Conservative vote of America to play God in the lives of those who depend on this service for their own survival,knowledge or health, as they are.

We need to know and understand that the Republican conservatives and Tea Party sponsored Republicans as well as the moderate, that claims to be conservative (this includes the entire field including, Ron Paul, of all the candidates running on the Republican ticket), who if elected, will take away all government funding to Planned Parenthood and close it down. All the Planned Parenthoods, are currently under serious attack by the Republican Party.

Vote for women in November. Vote for Obama, as the proven candidate, who signed into law a woman’s right to be paid the same as a man for the same job, after years of it being held up by the House and Senate.

The Secret No One Will Tell

I ask my readers to bear with me as I write about views that you may not agree with, but my attempt is to give a factual history of what is so often exaggerations or lies on the view often perceived about feminism and the history of women in the work force. I certainly am not preaching to the choir nor forcing anyone’s views on anyone but presenting a historical view while disputing what Rick Santorum is saying on the campaign trail. I am not making a judgement but simply presenting a different view from what some may not be aware of. It has never been more important to explain to women today regardless of our ages, so those of us who do want to learn what is driving the Republican Party today can. I will begin in the beginning:

It is matter of Dogma in the Christian Churches of America, who deal in Dogma,and unchangeable because it goes back to Biblical days in the Catholic Church as well as the earlier established religions, that when a child is born, God breathes a soul into them. A woman’s body was considered too unclean for a soul to co-exist in. Men were actually afraid of a woman’s period and feared that it gave women an unspoken power.

Many held that the fetuses that are aborted do not have a soul or a mind and simply return as human matter, since they are dead before they are born. No one can live without a brain and it does not fully form enough to reckonize pain or to sustain life, until later into the last trimester, and explains one of the many reasons, why premature babies need to be kept alive on IV’s and or machines.

The fact that not all States have set a time limit on abortion, all these years later and some abortions are born alive, is a tragedy in our Nation. 90% of all abortions happen in the first trimesters with the other 10% happening in the second and third so these are rare abortions in numbers, fortunately. The great majority of abortions happen in the poor and minorities. I could not agree more that all live births, under these circumstances, should be handled as adoptions in America.

It was viewed for generations going back to the first of Christianity during the time of Charlemaine that, Christ established separation of Church and State when He said,”Give unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s and unto God that which is God’s. All people born alive and have a soul are returned to God regardless of how they die. By Christ going to His own crucifixion and asking for the worse murderer in the prison to be released and crucified next to Him,they believed that He showed all Christians that regardless of our sins, all we needed to believe was in Christ, and we would all go to Heaven. St. Paul wrote the same in his gospel.

Separation of Church and State became law, I believe in the 1940′s, and in exchange for the Churches staying out of State ran business, the voters gave the Churches continued freedom from taxation. The voters have the power to take that away if it ever is brought back up for vote, which is highly unlikely.

Radical feminism, unlike what Santorum says, did not give women a desire to work out of the home. In the 1940′s when the men were drafted during World War two, there was no one left to work the factories so women worked them. Women discovered they enjoyed working out of the home. Since there was no middle class, until both men and women began working, it was never a problem for babysitters as often as many as 3 generations would share the same home, and grandmothers cared for the children.

Private ownership of homes did not happen in the working class until the men returned home from the war and the GI bill both provided affordable homes and educated the returning men. Both men being educated as well as women finding they liked working out of the homes, as well as, using their minds, is what grew Americans from poverty into a middle class in America. Women were educated further, as well, and became secretaries, nurses, teachers or hair Dressers.

It was very rare and mostly single women of the wealthy, with liberal fathers, might become Doctors, lawyers or run banks. It is important that we all know and understand that there were only two classes before this; the poor and the wealthy. The poor, were all but owned by the wealthy in America at the turn of the 20th Century, and had no say over their future. They were totally at the mercy of the wealthy when it came to both the amount of wages they received and hours worked.It would take Unions to change the specter of the landscape so that laborers did not have to work until sun up to sun down with unfair wages, and they could move away from the Company Stores and move out of poverty. Minimum wage did not enter the picture until the 1960′s when the middle class was well established.

For Centuries going all the way back to the Bible, abortions were going on and as long as it was just the poor and prostitutes, and the wealthy could go to Doctors to get it done safely, neither the Doctors or the Churches ever preached against abortions, openly, or even mentioned that they were going on.Women would simply die from women’s problems or if married they would have miscarriages, if they lived.

Since the poor all lived together and often shared the same bedrooms with their parents, incest was frequent. The sisters and daughters often died with both infection and coat hangers used in abortions or from sexually transmitted diseases.The prostitutes suffered the same fate and were often impregnated by the single or married men of the wealthy stature. The poor had no money to pay for a prostitute.

The Church looked on a married man as using a prostitute as not committing adultery. There were dark ally practitioners who were butchers before Roe vs. Wade made it legal in 1969. The passage of the Equal Rights Amendment in 1971, took control of the husband over his wife away, as women were given equal rights with equal say.

The women’s right’s movement in the 1960′s, worked tirelessly to improve the lot of women so that they were no longer the property of their husbands’ and had a say in their lives. This is the radical feminists that Santorum talks about. The Women’s Rights Movement was as supportive of women who wished to be home makers as they were of women who wanted to work out of the home. They fought for equal pay for the same job men held, and it was not until OBama signed it into law, all these years later, that it actually has gone into effect.

The biggest lie that those who are against women’s rights all like to tell is that the Equal Rights Amendment is not necessary as it is given in the Constitution. Before it was passed the Churches argued that man was given domain over his wife and property in the Bible and it was interference from the State when anyone objected to women being treated poorly. Women were totally dependent on their husbands’ permission and it was no one’s business but her husband’s before the Equal Rights Admendment was added.

Any time we hear anyone say it is not necessary, because it is already in the Constitution, we know we are talking to a liar or someone who is delusional. It was not until women could use birth control and stop the sperm from reaching the egg, that they could tell the men if they wanted a child or not. Prior to this there were condoms but mostly women considered of ill repute or the wealthy used them. A man determined the size of his family.

The Plan B birth control, or the morning after pill, is no different from any other birth control in that it prevents the sperm from reaching the egg, the same all birth control does. It is called the morning after pill because it is best when taken then as it takes 72 hours for the sperm to reach the egg. It is totally ineffective if a woman waits too long and is pregnant. The baby will be born if an abortion by a Dr. is not performed. This pill is the one the Churches want outlawed and refer to it as an abortion pill. Abortions were much higher before birth control and when they were illegal, than they are today.

Abortion only became a open problem with the Churches when birth control to all women instead of just the wealthy, showed up in the 1950′s. The Church condoned the rhythm method that made many families larger, as rarely did it work.Available birth control that women could control gave women the freedom that men had and the Catholic Church in the 1950′s fought it just as hard then as they do abortions today.They and the Mormon Church along with the fundamentalists, were all together in their fight to prevent equal rights, but none put more money in and fought it harder than the Mormon Church, beginning in 1920.

When Roe vs. Wade took effect it became the fight between pro-life and pro-choice. Women were led to believe that the fetus has a brain and can feel pain but the brain is not developed fully enough to do so until the end of the 3rd cycle nor does it have a soul unless it is born alive. The Dogma is still in place that a soul can only be breathed into a live child at birth. I repeat, this dogma cannot be changed according to the beliefs of the early churches.

Santorum has already announced that if elected he will lead all of America by his Catholic Religion. The Catholic Church has selected all presidents, in I believe the last 50 years, but the Two Bushes who were elected by the Evangelicals. This time they are all in it together but the Tea Party Evangelicals crashed and burned when both Perry and Bachman left the race.

The “God father” of the Tea Party,Ron Paul, says he has no vision for the White House so it is possible that if he, who is also against abortion,endorses Tea Party candidate, Rick Santorum, and the tea party darlings, Bachman and Perry, supporters do as well, that Santorum may be able to beat out one of the Mormons running, but it is highly unlikely since his ideas are too radical for mainstream Republicans.

Santorum and Gingrich are Catholic and Huntsman and Romney are Mormons. One of the two Mormons will more likely win and if anyone believes that neither will not lead the Nation by his Mormon religion, I can only say,”Are you nuts?!

As soon as I say that, knowing Mitt Romney is currently being reported as the favorite by the media, one cannot discount the “friends of the Catholic Church”either.(I put that in quotes on purpose, as there are many wealthy members who are)The fact that Santorum would blow up the Middle East should give us all pause as to why the man is even running with Church support in the first place. If we don’t then we should question our own motives.

Our common sense should tell us that none of them are candidate material for the volatile situation that the Middle East and Korea are in, currently, and all would support the status quo or obstruct it,in the Republican Party, so we all need to question if it is simply Church sponsored, as in right-wing conservatives or John Birch Society mentality Tea Party candidates who can be appointed to the Republican Party today?

It has never been more important to vote than it is in 2012 even though the Republicans will do their best to turn away the senior citizens, minorities and Students if they do not have picture ID in 31 States. It is highly Unconstitutional to do so but their judges have made it law. It is a deliberate attempt to keep those who would vote for OBama away from the voting polls, since this is the group of people who would be less likely to have reason to carry picture ID as many take public transportation, as well as, the people who voted for OBama in 2008.

The Senior Citizens should know, if they don’t already, that the Republicans will make Social Security private the first chance they get so they should turn out in large numbers to vote for the Democrats There are many injustices that will follow when it comes to the gains that women have made. Our Social Security system actually works as is, and that is the reason that Seniors are not suffering the way other Americans are.

Not all Americans are Christians and not all of them share the same Dogma when they are Christians. That is exactly why the law was passed to protect those that aren’t in the same Churches or Faiths in order to not show favoritism to one Faith over another. It is the law that the State stays out of Religion and Religion stays out of State matters. Again the law is Separation of Church and State with the Churches not being able to influence elections or pick the person who will hold any political office. They consistently break the law and that is why some people are suggesting that they then pay taxes and why they are yelling “Persecution!’

Anyway the conservatives judges are stacked and piled high with the Republican Party in control of the House and they hope Senate in 2012. This is their year to make sure that the Equal Rights Amendment gets overturned and that abortion is removed from the Federal government and sent to the States. It is their time to strike and win and to defeat both a woman’s right for abortion and birth control, regardless of the reason, and to do away with the Equal Rights Amendment.When Romney talks about bringing back the Soul to America that is exactly what he is talking about.

When they do, then women will be pregnant and families without healthcare will also be unable to maintain the middle class status with one house hold member working, and the middle class will shrink even farther and families will return to poverty. Their belief is that if men are given back the control then women will want to stay home and nurture the child, as it is only radical feminism that has made them want to work out of the home.

Newt Gingrich (sometimes he talks too much) has already explained how they would train the African-Americans to serve the wealthy. If you missed it, he would make both janitors and babysitters out of them so they would be trained to both clean and baby sit the homes and children of the wealthy, so they can earn a pay check instead of an education.

It also explains the move against education, as well.Education, according to the Evangelicals and Fundamentalists, puts false ideas into the heads of people who learn both history and Science. You cannot attend College in a 4 year program without taking courses in both. They want all ideas of evolution replaced with Creationism in the text books, that our kids learn from, and have been successful in doing so in Kansas and the South. They do not accept global warming or Science and as a result neither will be part of the Republican platform this election year. Is it any wonder we have fallen to 26 in the World when it comes to education standards with the rest of the World?

The only thing standing in their way is Barack OBama and the Democrats, and for that reason they are desperate to get rid of them. It is also the reason we keep hearing that the Democrats are just as much at fault and standing in the way of the Republicans to be able to give jobs to the workers. It is also the reason they are all saying that Barack OBama and the Democrats are making all Americans dependent on the government. Both are pure and unadulterated Bull s**t! Instead they refuse to sign his jobs bill that would hire people for construction and inter-structure jobs.

Abortion and the fact that OBama took on cleaning up corruption in the Insurance companies,as well as tried to gain healthcare for all since the people told him it was their number one concern in 2008, are the reasons so many lies began within 6 months of OBama taking office. It has been a long 3 years of lies since.

The pro-life movement will never get this chance again so they have to make sure OBama does not win. The longer he is in office the more conservative judges will be replaced by the Democrats’ choices and then they will not have the judges to make the call to make abortion illegal.By taking it back to the States they can eliminate the Federal Decision of Roe vs. Wade made in the Supreme Court because then it will be a States right matter to decide, and they have their judges waiting.
