The obvious, of course, are the children themselves but when we take into consideration that the brain is not formed enough for the children to understand long-term consequences, then it is clear we cannot hold the children committing the suicides responsible. The same is true about the bullies that instigate the cause of the child’s distress.

Common sense then tells us since children are being called queer, gay or dykes, and in many cases do not even understand the terminology, that the adults in the life of the bullies must be held responsible for the misguided information coming out of the mouths of the bullies. If a child is being told that they will, “burn in hell” because they are gay, even when there is no truth to the fact that they are gay or the scenario, doesn’t our common sense tell us this analogy is coming from the bullies home or the home of the friend’s of the bully? What are the right-wing politicians and Churches teaching people in regards to homosexuals if it isn’t, “that gays burn in hell” or they deny all gays any consideration or rights?

Recently I saw a politician (who I will not name) speak and say although he is definitely against gays and gay marriage he was not advocating hate against them. What possible message does he really think, or for that matter, the Churches think they are teaching the young, if not to be repulsed by all gays?

I am sorry but you don’t get to take a free leave from blame in this matter while judging others that are born differently from yourself. Young children do not and cannot distinguish between the so-called sin and sinner much less Science and as an adult we should know better if we are going to be the parent or political and spiritual representative and counselor. Children are not even capable of understanding how wrong or hateful these discriminations are when they come out of the mouths of authority figures. They just know there must be something terribly bad about them if they hear adults say they”will burn in hell’ for being themselves.

Although, many times, I personally wonder if the people preaching against homosexuals the loudest are not having gender identity problems of their own. The majority of all rational thinking human beings are not out to prevent homosexuals from enjoying the same freedoms that we enjoy.

It is the option of the Churches to deny marriage of homosexuals in their own Churches if they wish but it is not the right of any politician of any religious persuasion nor Church to deny the constitutional rights of any free American. It is time they do acknowledge that their message to the young, amongst us, on the gay issue is playing as big of a role in child suicides where threats of “burning in hell” are being made as the parents of the bullies themselves are responsible.

It is my opinion, if the Churches taught the value of love and compassion towards those that are born differently from us and stayed out of State government as well as National government according to the law enacted in the 1940′s, we would not be seeing the spread of suicides amongst innocent children or the hate crimes against homosexuals that we are seeing. I also believe that clear and conscientious thinking Americans, that both value today’s Constitution as it is written and compassion, can and do agree with me on this. Vote for the candidate that will guarantee Equal Rights for ALL and not change the Constitutional amendment that currently allows it on November 2nd.
